Visited on Monday and bought 10 frozen medium pasties, didn't check my receipt but found when I got home that I had been charged £47 for 10 medium pasties. Overcharging is not a sustainable business model,it stinks
City Church Plymouth met here on a Sunday morning: 10:30 for a cuppa and 11:00 for the meeting itself. It meets on the first and third Sunday of each month.
Haven't sampled the food yet, but love everything else about this pub. Great lounge, friendly staff and massive carpark.
They regularly hold events like quizzes, flower arranging and art workshops.
Visited for drinks and cakes. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Was a quiet mid afternoon so not many guests. Only negative is quite expensive for a piece of cake or a treat but were rather yummy.
Visited here as heard great things and my son is colieac so we had the choice of gluten free pasta!
We were welcomed with a rude young girl who just said your upstairs , so we took ourselves up there . No menus given or asked about dietary requirements, all very strange.
The atmosphere was awful, felt awkward and unwelcoming with very weird and obnoxious music which my son said made him feel like he's in a 2014 YouTube fails montage .
Great that they have gluten free pasta and pizza bases which is very rare to find . Food overall was mediocre, filled a gap but definitely nothing to rave about,Lacked flavour . !!
The Chancel has been one of our favourite places to eat in Plymouth for many years. During Covid and a bit longer they’ve been delivering or preparing for collection. Without much thought or any foreknowledge we walked down this evening hoping it might up and running for their traditional bistro food and good wines. Very disappointed therefore to find it dark, empty and will a To Let sign. No hint that there might still be an online service. Pity and we’re sad. Many dozens of happy memories.
Husbands birthday, I took cake day before, we had an amazing view! Fantastic service and the food was amazing! Thank-you to all at the wet Wok for making my husband’s birthday feel so special! We did have a couple bottles wine and with dinner it was all very good value!
We had the set meal, was all delicious!
I spent the evening in Plymouth
at this Greek restaurant
and it was a good choice;
Was welcomed by pleasant and service-oriented staff
and was quickly assigned a table and menu.
I asked about Tzatziki and pita bread for starters - it wasn't on the menu,
but was quickly arranged
and tasted excellent;
quite sharp with a lot of garlic
👍👍👍
For the main course I chose Kleftiko;
a large portion of very tender lamb with good side dishes.
For the food I chose a large glass of Argentinian Malbec
EVERYTHING tasted very good
