Oasis Cafe in Plymouth

City Church Plymouth met here on a Sunday morning: 10:30 for a cuppa and 11:00 for the meeting itself. It meets on the first and third Sunday of each month.

What a lovely cafe it's many uses including the food bank and a prayer room. The prices are amazing and the staff are lovely and friendly.

The place is easy to access and the art works are good.

I was surprised to find this was more than a cafe, when I looked in they were distributing bags from a food bank to a dozen or so people This was a little before Christmas Decided they were busy and went looking for somewhere else to get a snack Doing a good job!

Great place to relax and get a tea and cake

Este es un café Internet y barato acogedor dirigido por circuito Plymouth Methodist Mission en el corazón de Stonehouse en Union Street. Los locales, que estaban en un pub Oasis antes de la asumió en 1998 el proyecto con una serie de ideas y actividades para ayudar a aquellos en necesidad de ayuda y apoyo. Hay un banco de comida y base de un gran problema. En cuanto a la cafetería es fácil ir y acogedor a todos. Dentro hay formas de conseguir un montón de ideas y enlaces. Puedes conseguir comida de 9 - 3. 30 todos los días. Comidas calientes, bocadillos y sándwiches, tartas caseras, té de comercio justo, chocolate caliente y café. Hay acceso a internet y wifi. Enfrente hay mesas y una trampa de sol. El café no sólo atrae a los grupos objetivo, pero los residentes locales, niños y transeúntes. El lugar tiene una buena sensación. No en una calle principal, pero hay un montón de bullicio y de negocios incluyendo un gimnasio y salvar los hogares unidad muy cerca. Los organizadores tienen bien aquí. Positive christian atmosphere that does not discriminate against people of the minority Christian faiths. Good work with the food bank which the community can contribute to. Having the work club as well as three computers for public use. The most important thing is the community cafe.

I found out about the Cafe Through Tomorrows people; The cafe is both run and staffed by mainly volunteers who are both friendly and approachable. One of the main things people visit for is the Food bank which is part of the cafe but there is a lot more to the place than meets the eye. Computers are available on a first come first serve basis if you can use a PC then all well and good but what if you cant or do not have English as your first language well they have that covered as well with, free how to courses in computing and if you finish the course you may even be given free a PC like i was.the place feels safe it is clean and above all it is friendly and caters for both the young and those of us not so young i really can not praise them enough for what help i have received.
