A good joint to grab a quick bite

Super friendly staff. Super fresh food. Although I'm not Kurdish and this was my first time trying the cuisine the place seemed authentic as it's patrons were (among others) Kurdish. The food tasted genuinely beautiful. The bread they gave for the take away was amazing...buttery, soft, light but crispy on top...like a meld of Italian pizza bread with Arab tastes. Meat was very soft and uniquely spiced as was the rice. Definite highlight of the week food wise.

Not all good. My Kofta and Salad had been precooked and tasted stale. My partners Lamb Biriani was better, but the lamb was a bit chewy rather than fall off the bone. Upstairs tables were dirty as well, never a good sign.

Nice tasting food, reasonably priced. Free soup as a starter was a nice touch. Seating downstairs was slightly limited for a large group but aside from this it was a nice restaurant to visit.

We come here as I am vegetarian and partner isn't. It's the perfect place to get both. The staff are so friendly and the vibe is great.

You get free lamb soup when you sit down, which makes you feel extremely welcome. The food is great, I usually get the £4 wrap, which is the best wrap you'll ever have trust.

Amazing!! Best food in town for who s not vegetarian. The lamb soup they bring you as soona s you seat has been an epiphany. Really amazing and great value for money. Try the shish kebab. The naan too that s baked in a tandoor oven is really delicious.

The only issue I have is that the place looks ran down. I use to help with business development in several restaurants and takeaways, and it is a picture I saw often. The tables are too crammed and they saw better day. Room is loud and dark. Till area could do with some work. I think with some investment this place could expand market massively and even franchise! They have good food, good hygiene, simple menue, fab staff, just needs some TLC to bring it out of 1995 into today:)

A very friendly staff and excellent customer service. Food is delicious and is supplied in large portions. The manager "Mr Haji Farid" is friendly and always goes an extra mile to provide the best service. I will highly recommend Nawroz to anyone.

Delicious succulent halal Turkish grilled cuisine. Had the mixed grills which were very tasty and good portion, although the red meat could have been cooked a little longer as still had some blood in it. Very tasty naan bread. Courteous employees and the uncle who served us.
