Interesting decor. Great real ale.

Quite a few different beers available. Some good music playing and good places to sit.

Great place, cool vibe, and a great selection of drinks. Up stairs terrace is lovely. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Went in to watch Foreign Voices and Jason Peerless play, what a wonderful venue! And they serve decent non alcoholic drinks which is always a big win for me!

The best vibe in Plymouth in my opinion

Not giving any review. But need suggestion. I'm going to sign a contract for a room that is literally above of this pub. I like to live in a quiet and peaceful environment. But, I have heard that there are lots of music noises on weekends and you can't be able to sleep well. Should I go for this room or not??

Poetry night was as anticipated. A combination of people learning and people teaching. Pleasant:)

Great little pub, love the interiors its really interesting to sit and enjoy the ambience. We watched a band Saturday night that were great. Lots of choice of beers and love that its not for profit :) Didn't try food so cant comment on that.

Quirky, and a little impersonal on this visit, but the beer was good, and whiled away an hour whilst I waited for a train!

A comfortable safe community pub run by a musician with free or very cheap live music. Every town should be so lucky.

There was a man playing a keyboard while we were there , good atmosphere good beer ,staff could be a little more attentive and put their phone down while I was there ,but I did recommend it to a friend, who did visit

Almost double the price of nearby pubs/bars. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. None of the usual lagers, seems to have a rotation of unusual guest ales which is to some people's taste! Beer garden/smoking area and candles. Price just letting it down, £6 here and £3.50 next door, not on.

Service is good, atmosphere was ok but the beer was a bit on the cold side. To be fair it is more of a young person's pub and I would say ideal for students so go try it out. The bar staff are lovely people.

Great spot for pre gig food and drinks, sport on every screen, good choice of beers, fast food service. Returned post gig to find a nice atmosphere and 80's videos on the screens till 1am.

Nice vibe, back ground music and good guest/craft ales. Free Mic stand up comedy night 3rd Wednesday of the month... Can't blame them for some of the acts though 🤣. Live music on Mondays.

Interesting bar that has a unique antique vibe, gentle volume of house beats play in the background but not loud enough to hear anyone’s conversation. People sit at the bar and chat to the barman, they are definitely regulars. I didn’t receive a welcome and paid £4.50 for a pint of freedom. Guest kegs are regular and seating is fairly limited but not in demand on a Sunday night. I’d visit again

Bar staff are amazing and make you feel cery welcome. They have a nice selection of different ales and beers which changes often, so usually something different to try.

Friendly staff (even friendlier if your four legged friend attends), welcoming atmosphere and good facilities. Only let down is how busy it can be, however I would argue this says something for how enjoyable of an atmosphere this pub hosts.

Excellent Welcome, Staff were polite, friendly and knew their products, Lovely Decor, Warm Welcome & Relaxing atmosphere. Art on Walls and Historic Items dotted around, Covid Guidance in place & comfortable seating areas. Good range of products on sale and fair prices. Made my visit a good one & I fully intend on returning and if I see Staff when they visit Wales I'll pay for their first drink

I love this place! It's very community oriented which makes it feel like family and homely. The staff are lovely and the music and ambience, especially on jazz nights, is amazing! Missed you guys during lockdown! So happy to see you again x

Cool little bar, nice selection of craft beers

First place I have seen live music since the restrictions have been lifted! Absolutely brilliant performance with good acoustics around the bar. Plenty of seating and the option to order food from else where to the bar which is just incredible. Brilliant bar with wonderful staff, will be returning soon!

You can't get a better pint of cider or atmosphere, unless you travel to totnes. This is a 6 star pub

Great selection of craft beer which isn't really available in a lot of Plymouth pubs. Only improvement would be to print a list of what's in the fridge given you can't order at the bar currently.

It was crowded and packed, great atmosphere, note, book a table in advance, i just showed up and they had to turn me away, I waited some time until a table became available.

This pub has perminantly closed according to a notice on the window and is no longer trading.

Had an amazing cream tea here for my birthday
