Honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had. Always consistent, amazing prices, the sauce and the dough is all made fresh in house, it’s cooked the way pizza SHOULD be cooked. The owner is an absolute legend and will always have a chat with you. Genuinely and whole heartedly PLEASE GO HERE it’s the best pizza you’ll ever have and this guy needs more support.

We've been coming here since late 2009 and, no matter where we've lived since, we've always made excuses to come back for the pizza! The quality of ingredients, combined with the perfectionism of this fabulous small family business, is a recipe for high-end restaurant quality food at absurdly cheap prices. Wondering how I could use my experience to help others considering trying Aroma out, I looked through the other reviews. I saw that the only complaints have been about poor delivery drivers a few years ago (which I understand were provided by a well-known ordering app, and were so unreliable that Aroma stopped using them) and delays to food prep time. Regarding the latter, it's important to remember that Aroma make every pizza, by hand, to order - and they happily accommodate a variety of dietary requirements, nothing is too much trouble. It's a small family business, often with 1 or 2 staff on, and I can tell you from experience that they would far rather give you excellent food than McDonald's-type turnaround times. If you're concerned about time, just ask when you order and you'll get an honest ETA. Mosbah has ALWAYS been honest with us. On the rare occasion that something has taken longer than expected, it has always been due to something outside of Aroma's control and they don't mess you about. ONCE (in 15 years!) my pizza was slightly darker than usual (not burnt) and he tried to give me my money back! Integrity and community really are ingrained at Aroma. Not only do they support local farms by purchasing supplies directly, but during COVID they used their oven to batch-cook meals for those who were struggling. Outstanding food, outstanding service, and a very valued part of the Plymouth community.

Excellent all round. It really rare nowadays that you see someone so friendly and helpful,accommodating dietary needs without any arrogance- all of this whilst handling the store by himself!! On top of this food was to die for, pizza was cooked to perfection and garlic bread was great. Great service at a reasonable price, what more can you ask for!!!

I contacted Mufbah & his team to supply 50+ pizzas for a large event. Mufbah was a delight to meet & deal with. The pizzas were AMAZING as were the fabulous 1 meter garlic breads! The pizzas were very good value for money. I would highly recommend Aroma to anyone. 5 star!!

Best pizza I have had in the UK and I don't miss Italian pizza thanks to Mosbah...I live in fear of him retiring! Great dough, cooked to perfection in a real wood fired oven. The right amount of good quality ingredients, so the pizza never turns out wet or oily, but is cheesy and tomatoy and tasty. Chef kiss! Try the garlic mayo dip for the crusts, I am a convert after trying his.

The wood fire oven was hand crafted by the owner who’s service and homemade fresh ingredients out-rank every other restaurant or delivery pizzeria in Plymouth and Devon beyond, best bits: authentic dough Quality mozzarella Informative and friendly service, really enjoyed the passion the owner had for the health benefits of choosing the right ingredients Only £10 for any pizza is a bargain Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Plymouth!

Top pizza and top customer service, hand made oven which adds to the authenticity. For the price price of £10 ( collection ) you get up to four topping which is more than enough to create something tasty with £1.20 additions if you wanted extra.

One of the best pizzas I've had in a while, the subtle wood fire flavour that comes through and the perfectly speckled crust was incredible. If you're local, it's a must visit, if you're far away, make the journey. The £10 for any large pizza on collection is a fantastic deal, and the wait is made that much more pleasant by his company.

Best pizza in Plymouth by far! People/reviewers need to keep in mind that Mosbah is the main man who works very hard in a busy and hot kitchen! If he's closed he's closed, you won't starve, try your luck next time. He deserves a break to have time to take a breath whenever he chooses to take one!

Has to be the best pizza in Plymouth. The owner is friendly and conversational, and an expert pizza maker who knows his stuff. The bases are thin and crispy, with delicious fresh toppings. The £10 pizza deal is a bargain for what is essentially artisanal, wood fired pizza, and trumps anything the competitors nearby offer in both price, options and quality. 10/10 couldn’t recommend more, definitely a must visit for take-out pizza in the centre of Plymouth

I went in today to pick up a pizza and received amazing service from the gentleman running the store. So friendly and inviting. The food was also incredible, best pizza in plymouth for sure! Try the garlic sauce if you do go in, it’s to die for.

The man behind the counter really knows his stuff! Very tasty pizza, and ready quite quickly. While he was preparing the pizzas, we had a great conversation about how long he's been doing this (he's had this shop for about 15 years, and the oven is roughly 13 years old!), and the secret to making good food. Overall amazing experience!

I tried pizzas all over this country and would have to say this was the best tasting out of them all, dominos and Pizza Hut does not compare in the slightest. I’ve always smelt the amazing wood fire from this place on an evening and thought I’d give it a go. I was not disappointed. Beautifully charred and cooked bread with a good fresh sauce. The toppings did not match the quality of the rest of the pizza. I regret not choosing just a straight forward margarita as I can imagine that it is exceptional. The online ordering system could take a bit of tlc, but the ordering over the phone was very simple and efficient. Staff were great on arrival and notified me when the pizza was ready, amazing service!! I love the potential this place has and the food was delightful.

Staying in Plymouth for one night and I love pizza. Googled pizza near me and the usual dribble came up, Dominos! Dug a bit deeper on line and found this hidden gem. Within walking distance of the hotel i was staying in. Walking into the pizzeria I was pleasantly greeted by the owner. We had a great conversation and he was very helpful. I made an order of 2 medium pizzas, both for me obviously . I went for the classic margarita which was out of this world and a spicy one which i forgot the name of. Both unbelievable and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Top class pizza take away, great bases and good choice of toppings with a huge wood fired pizza oven dominating the shop. Only shame is the associated kebab shop is closed , although may be opening again.

If they hadn’t burnt the tomatoes the pizza would have had zero taste. It arrived hot and on time but all of us who ate were disappointed in the bland flavour.

I recommend collecting pizza straight from the place as it's quicker and fresh out of wood fired oven when you get it. Also you can get very good deals if you collect. I personally believe this is the best pizza I have had in the uk. You can tell they use quality ingredients. They guy who owns the place really cares about how each pizza comes out and tries to keep the quality to a high standard. Also cooking pizza in such a traditional way is an art form and makes it taste so amazing.

You only need to smell these pizzas to know they're good,and the taste confirms it. Been here several times and never been disappointed. If you collect it's great value,buy one get one free even on the 14". They are busy with deliveries too so you may need to wait 20 minutes or so but they're friendly and the wait is so worth it. You can watch your pizza being prepared from scratch and baked in the wood fired oven. Delicious!

My friend and I order almost weekly from this pizza place. Over the years we have tried many other places but always return to Aroma.

We went into the shop to order pizza, and we were greeted by a lovely owner who helped us customise our choices. We went for a mix of fresh mozzarella and regular mozzarella and it was a right treat. Cooked to perfection with a light but crispy base this guy really knows his stuff. We ate then in the park round the Corner with pots of their home made spicy dip and garlic dip. 2 for the price of 1 meant it was a right bargain too. Hands down best pizza we’ve ever had - so much better that chain pizza.

Ordered from these guys a couple of times now. Always a friendly service and the pizzas are really yummy. They’re good, thin pizzas too. If you order online direct from their website, then there is an array of discounts to take advantage of, so I would definitely recommend doing that!

We had to wait over an hour over the delivery time for our pizzas to arrive. However the delivery driver explained why there was a delay and that we can get another pizza for free next time which i thought was really good! The pizza was really nice once it arrived. I would order again :)

Yes they are a little slow but it's worth the wait, the owner is so passionate about all of the food he cooks, the pizza dough is handmade, the toppings are so fresh, the pizzas are cooked to perfection and the price is cheap.
