Fantastic food and service. The staff are really friendly and accommodating for both accessibility and dietary requirements. The range of ciders on offer is great, and they have a fantastic selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

It's been three years now since we've discovered this gem of a restaurant by mainly pure luck, and we couldn't be happier. Outstanding food, really great selection of both toppings and craft ciders/beers and lovely staff (this actually doesn't do justice to the wonderful team) - we even get a personalised messages whenever we order online, always cheers us up :). To be completely honest it feels like a second home now. Thanks for continuing to go above and beyond to create a place which we can call "our own pizza heaven". Can't recommend enough!

Another visit to lovely Stables. Usually I can’t tear myself away from the hawaiian with extra extra chilli. But I forced myself to try the Viva la Veg and it was a great excursion. Loaded with all sorts of exciting things from pine nuts to caponata. (very clear notes available about ingredients in case you are worried.) Great service as usual, quick and friendly, and some of the staff are quite cute, no no I didn’t say that . . . They offer a good range of beer cider and wine, though I was sticking to tea. Go treat yourselves and enjoy the lovely view over Sutton Harbour. You might see a seal or a dolphin. Or a seagull.

Rhi was an absolute star and a bright and lovely demeanor, there was nothing she couldn’t do for us, always willing to answer all our questions. The Xmas truffle pizzas were delicious as always, my partner and I are a big fan of the veggie crisps on top! But the service from Rhi really made it special!

I tried half a dozen pizzas from their menu along with Garlic Bread and brownie. Loved them all

It was ok, not much of an atmosphere and pricey for what you get. It was ok as a one off visit.

My food was a delivery it came sideways despite that as it’s not the restaurant fault but despite that the pizza was absolutely disgusting why send it with jam and gravy? Who has pizza with jam and gravy? You know a garlic dip would’ve just been absolutely fine.

Xmas menu on web site said available from 25 Nov,arrive and told not available not. Happy as we took guests.....probably will not be going back.

Awesome sourdough pizza’s, great menu and also cater for different dietary requirements too. Always love the food and the cider selection is awesome. The stable has never let me down! Good atmosphere and location too.

Just what the stable can always deliver. Pizza and drinks that are just right most of the time. Must admit the flight of cider seems like a good idea but I suggest you have a sample and choose one ygat you really like.

Took my 13 almost 14 year old daughter for lunch after an emotional game of mini golf. 😅 We had never been b4. Plymouth stable is a beautiful, clean place with great views of boats and yachts. Really friendly staff who made us instantly comfortable 😌. They food was excellent and whole experience perfect. Thankyou to the Sunday afternoon staff. 👏👏👏

Good pizza. Catered for gluten free. Helpful staff. A bit pricey, but I guess you okay a premium for such a nice location.

Haven’t been for a while and the food/service has really gone down hill. Pizzas were both undercooked and terribly topped. Could barely see any cheese. I had to chase up our sides which had been forgotten and left on the kitchen side

Every time we visit Plymouth we have a family meal there. It is very popular because it's food is outstanding and the ciders are epic. This time I had the new lamb pizza which was amazing! The staff are very helful around allergies, and wheel chair access and loos is good. Try their tasting board of ciders ... its a giggle and educational both! Well done again, Stable team!

Was recommended this place whilst visiting the Barbican but wish I’d have gone elsewhere, view was lovely sat outside and had the cluc a doodle doo chicken and bacon pizza which came with guacamole. The pizza base was soft and underwhelming, toppings tasted artificial & not fresh and everything was underwhelming. For £15 it was not what I was expecting. Korev lager tasted average too, wouldn’t recommend or return.

As always ... gorgeous food & excellent cider board. Had the new one, Lamb & Feta 😋. Service was also, as always, excellent ...Happy Customers 😀

Visited here as our usual pizzeria was fully booked. You have to pay before your food arrives which is very odd. We ordered our food and sat down. we waited 1 HOUR and still no food arrived. After getting very frustrated with waiting we went down and asked what was happening to be told they were waiting for 1 more item and the food would arrive. Turns out they were 1 staff member short and were struggling. Some communication about this would have been nice. The food was average at best! Had we not paid at the beginning for our food we would have got up and left. I can firmly say we will never be coming here again. Wait time is unacceptable. No communication. Not sure why you make customers pay before any food is eaten.

Has been on the radar for a while but actually got around to going this visit. Simple approach, pizza & cider done well. Pizza was a bit different from the norm but the sourdough based was very good. Excellent selection of ciders. Had the the tasting flight, not all to m taste, but a good idea. Recommended.

Good food, but painfully slow service. On arrival we were told there was a 40 minute wait on food. We ordered within 10 minutes of sitting down, but our food took and hour and a half to arrive! By the time our food arrived it was 9pm, and within half an hour they started to close the restaurant down around us. I also abject to being asked to pay a tip when I place my order. Tips should be given for exceptional service, yet by the time your placing your own food order through an app, the only service you've actually received is somebody showing you to a table (and that was only because we booked - people without bookings were given menus and told to sit wherever). This experience wouldn't put me off the Stable, as I've had good experiences too, but it was just irritating particularly when it's not the cheapest.

Enjoyable dinner here last week of pizza and cider! Was very impressed with the pizzas and also the selection of vegetarian/plant based pizzas. I’d recommend the vegan burrata pizza as it was delicious! Cant comment on the service too much as we ordered on our phones but staff were friendly. Only criticism is that my cider was warm - Monkey Mango fyi. Would recommend!

Large party to say goodbye to colleague who is retiring. Pre-booking arrangements excellent. Queries prior to event dealt with politely and efficiently. Flexible regarding booking numbers. Relaxed atmosphere. Food arrived promptly once everyone arrived. Food enjoyed by everyone and when it came to paying were able to do so individually due to excellent pre booking system so no embarrassing scrolling down a receipt.

We went for a family lunch for my birthday. Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely venue! Perfect pizza! Thank you!

£6+ for a pint!? Are you mad? People who are okay with paying these kind of prices for a pint of beer have lost the plot. Vote with your wallets, keep paying these prices and they'll be here to stay or worse keep going up.

Solid place for pizza, cider, and beer. Wide range of ciders and you can get 5 x 1/3 pints which is nice to taste a range. Nice selection of beers to boot. Pizzas were decent, I would stick to the simpler pizzas as I had one with lots of toppings that became a bit unbalanced. Service was good, but not outstanding. Nice, relaxed atmosphere

A works gathering at The Stable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was perfect, amazing pizzas. The others in the group all agreed the pizzas are the best. The variety of beers and ciders are great, it's nice to see a bar not over run with the boring same beers you find in most bars and pubs. Someone has done their homework pairing drink and food. Would thoroughly recommend the Stable.

I used to come here so much as a student and revisited this weekend for the first time in years. It is still fantastic, the best pizza around. Lots of great toppings to choose from and great desserts too. The cider selection is unmatched, so many great drinks to choose from. The service was good, and sitting outside overlooking the marina is fantastic in the sun. The view of the Barbican is fantastic, the best place to view it from.

The pizzas here are fantastic. The service is chaotic and that’s being kind. We asked for table service and were told no. Tried to order with QR code as instructed and it wouldn’t work. Ended up ordering at the bar. Drinks took ages to come and one was missing. Food took ages. It was very difficult to have a conversation as the music was so loud. We were a group of six. We were asked if we wanted to order more drinks at the bar as it was last orders and when they were delivered told by someone else we had to leave. We have. We have been before so I don’t know if this was a bad day but the service was awful. Food great

Very poor service. We arrived and waited to be seated at the host station, which seemed to be a surprise to the host/manager who did then seat us though as we were seated we were told we had to order within 5-10minutes even though we arrived at 8:30 and the restaurant advertises as being open until 10:30, we felt like we were inconveniencing them and their want to close early. The food wasn’t particularly great and when we requested serviettes or water everything seemed to be a further inconvenience.

I mean if the waitress has to ask if this is okay when she brings out the food, why bring it out ? Is the chef too lazy to make another one if he left it in for too long ? Or can he cook ? Or does he really want a job ? The questions are endless for someone who serves up a nachos like this. People can barley afford to eat out nowadays as it is and giving money to a chain instead of a independent business which there isn’t many around any longer you’d think they would at least take some pride in what they do. Felt like know one wanted to be there. Service very poor, food poor attitude of the person serving behind the bar poor.

Been going for a few years and I think the food quality has gone downhill. Waited ages to get served and one was burnt and the other slightly underdone. Pepperoni quite mean on top. Guys it’s pepperoni….lets put lots on for £13. Girl serving was wobbling about all over the place. Now of course it could be something medical (in which case I’m sorry) but our assumption she was drunk or high. Good selection of beers and ciders as usual.

Bottomless brunch is all the rage at the moment. The Stable has a very limited selection of drink that comes with the Bottomless. If you like 1 brand Cider and 1 brand of Lager, you are quids in. Oh, let's not forget the cocktails. If you are a real ale drinker, don't go Bottomless. They don't serve Guinness, which was a disappointment for me. The website is very confusing and misleading. The food was slow coming out, and personally, I thought the pizza was tasteless and cold. Won't be returning.

I don't normally go for bottomless brunches, I'm not a big fan of the concept of trying to get your money's worth by rushing your drinking in and trying to neck enough alcohol in a short period ot time for you to feel you got a good deal. However, in the case of the Stable, I completely revise my thoughts! The bar had a pleasant atmosphere, upstairs on the balcony in the sun was fantastic, but for me what made it was the staff. I felt like they really put in extra work to accomodate our requests and the chap who served us was such a nice guy who had a big genuine smile on his face every time he came over to our table and in general just did a brilliant job. I wish I had found out his name so I could praise him specifically here, as he was a big part of our great experience. It appears the Stable has singlehandedly changed my mind about bottomless brunches. All of us agreed that it would be rude for us not to go back. Keep doing what you're doing, as having happy employees really shines through and makes the experience for the guests considerably better than just having a good venue and good food (which is also true).

Warm welcome from staff. Good selection on the menu. Service was quick. Food was delicious & hot. Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Plymouth.

I visited The Stable last night, even though it was very busy and there was only two waitresses, the service was top notch, we were updated with the wait on the food regularly and both girls were very friendly that made our experience very good! They went above and beyond compared to what most normal places would go. The food was also incredible. Overall very enjoyable and will definitely come back again.

Best vegan pizza I've ever had. 😋 took a while to arrive but it was worth the wait. Friendly staff. You can order by app from your table but i couldn't work the app. They were happy to take the order at the till. I would go again. Good for kids size pizza too.

We had our wedding reception here last week and it was just wonderful. Rhi was so helpful from start to finish; she had such brilliant ideas and is clearly very experienced. She was available throughout the whole process and nothing was too much trouble. Rhi and her team really made this such a lovely experience and we can't thank them enough. All our guests were genuinely impressed and one couple are already considering booking The Stable for their own reception later this year. I'm sure many people would wonder if pizzas would work for a wedding reception but the food was amazing, with fabulous salads alongside and the wine is excellent. Thanks Rhi and team. We really appreciate all your hard work and look forward to returning for many more occasions.

We celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday with a bottomless brunch for 16 friends and family and it was fantastic from start to finish. We opted for the cocktail version at £37 per person which was amazing value for money. The staff were so friendly and attentive. I only wish I could remember their names to thank them properly on here! They helped to make it a special celebration. Cocktails were prepared in pitchers so we never felt like we were waiting for drinks and they were all really tasty. Especially loved the Candyfloss Pink Gin. That was a big hit with everyone! We’ve eaten dinner at the Stable before, so we already knew that the pizzas are great, but the selection of starters were perfect for a brunch too. I can’t recommend this enough.

a pleasant place, I arrived here at the beginning of January. although there were few people in the restaurant, it took quite a while for the food to arrive. I also ordered cider but I didn't like it at all. pizza ok but not the greatest. some strange sauces. nachos were ok and garlic bread. the toilet is clean but upstairs.

I have lived in Plymouth for many years but have never tried this place and I was overall impressed.

One of the best premier inns I’ve stayed at.

With the help of Rhi, we held my sisters baby shower in the upstairs function toom and cannot recommend this venue enough. Food was amazing and prompt, all brought out with individual names thanks to the pre order service. The room was perfect with lovely views and they let us decorate it how we wanted which was perfect. Reasonable priced drinks too with our own bar was great. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, with special mention to Rhi who helped me organise it from the start. We had 25 people attend and everyone commented on how brilliant the venue was. Highly recommend and will be using again. Thank you!!

We have eaten here several times. The food has always been delicious and generous with portions. We brought our baby this time and he was very content. It can get extremely cold though so best to wrap up warm in the colder months, even when sat inside. In the Summer it is absolutely wonderful to sit outside and look across the harbour.

Good range of ales and ciders and the food was great.

2 stars purely because we were waiting an hour for our meals , we orders few bottles of wine and didn’t get proper wine glasses . The table was sticky and the cheescake was nice however very heavy . Cheescake should be light .

Middle of the week day when I went, pizza was great and the service adequate, it was quiet but nice enough.

Absolutely love this place, somewhere I have visited several times. Pizzas are delicious, wide variety of ciders to choose from and lovely staff! It’s usually fairly busy so as long as you’re not expecting a quiet place to dine I do highly recommend giving this place a visit.

The waiting staff offered no help when ordering our food and appeared seemingly disinterested. We had to order from the app, 6 of us, 2 without glasses struggled to navigate the menu. Not a lot of choice for vegetarians. Felt rushed when we had finished eating. It wasn't very warm in there. Pizza and salad were delicious and the barman was very helpful and friendly.

Really lovely place. Ideal for Vegans! I enjoyed the Vegan pizza and sides. Wine was lovely and could order via the app - really straightforward. Never been, we don't have one in Exeter, so was a nice change. Would visit again, for sure

Probably the worst pint I have had! We both left ours. I had a pint of Korev and it had a bit of life to start then just died on its arse half way through, if it wasn't so busy I would of sent it back but it took over 15 minutes to get a drink in the first place with their table ordering service. The menu looks great and they are geared up for more of a cider place tbh. The location is lovely right on the waters edge. I have to commend your staff hence the 5 stars, they noticed I had a dog and came straight back with a water bowl and treats, first class.
