Not called Yay! Koffee & Laundry. Nice coffee shop.

visted on the off chance with family, excellent service that compares with a hotel AAA experience. The food was exceptional, we had vegan, vegetarian and meat dishes with no complaints everyone left full and happy. A mutley gem.

This place !!!! So good. Been going here since it opened. Amazing staff. Really like the coffee. And its good to support independent businesses. The food is really nice also. I haven't been In a while but it was refurbished last time I went in and very covid safe. A plus you have the option of doing your laundry. Clever idea. Also you can buy random house hold items always tempted to buy something.has some interesting things to buy. When I'm at mutley this is where I go. Costa can do one. Viva la yay! Koffee

Don't do the laundry any more but the coffee and food is top notch, we usual sit outside and people watch on Mutley which is never dull!!

It's now called Little Kitchen the service was excellent, staff were very attentive ..food could not be faulted. Clean and tidy and highly recommended would most definitely go again

Living near mutley over the years so many shops have been and gone.I hope koffee &Laundry will be here to stay for the future.The cafe is set out perfectly!Staff are outstanding!coffee fabulous and cheep.Laundry machines are excellent they don't rip up your clothes.highly recommend

Excellent service relaxed atmosphere

I had an all day breakfast that was slightly disappointing. The mushrooms were obviously passed their best but also tasteless, egg was under par as well. Bacon and sausage were good but beans lukewarm. Have been before and had much better. Perhaps the cook was having an off day!

Attentive staff and socially distanced tables with screening either side. No track and trace data taken though. Good menu and seemed popular. Would re-vist.

A wonderful coffee shop that also offers a wide variety of food. The cafe has also been carefully planned with Covid screens in place between tables. Staff are very friendly and the owner is a true gentleman. He's simply brilliant with both my kids. If you like your coffee and your chats in a welcoming environment, then you'll love this place. Highly recommended

The food was rubbish ' I said no bacon but deliberately he put bacon on it , the eggs wasn't cooked tasteless. Never gi again avoid

First visit and was impressed. Staff were friendly and efficient. Catered for my gluten free daughter very well. Would highly recommend a visit.

Served by a friendly and accommodating barista who provided paper and crayons for the children, unprompted. A little warm in there but the drinks were very nice.

Ordered food via just eat, missed items from my order, this led to a phone call on restaurant admittedly not all items were delivered and that was that, the food was never delivered to myself nor a refund, no solution just meant £15 was spent on a slice of cake.... ridiculous!!

Exactly average. Food was not very good, cold beans, barely cooked Halloumi, rude customer service. Coffee was very nice though, reasonable price for what it was.

Always never a failure. I only ever have the full English and it's just as you expect everytime. Nothing fancy just keeping it basic. Thanks guys

Called in for a take away sandwich and wasn’t disappointed it was lovely and worth the money too. The cheese and ham toastie with chips was excellent will definitely pop in again

Ordered a flat white, was given a latte sized drink with no foam. Seemed like a new employee so not their fault but lack of training and supervision.

I've been here twice. Both times for breakfast, and what a contrast. 1st time was nice enough, staff seemed pleasant and food was good. 2nd time was a bit of a disaster. We ordered breakfast and drinks. People who came in afterwards seemed to get their drinks before us, and I had to go up and ask for them again. Food came out after a long time waiting. We were missing a hash brown off my wife's plate and mine. They came out after a few minutes, but was still frozen in the middle. So yeah, we wont be going back. Particularly as there are several other places to eat on the same street.

Yay! Koffee is an apt name for this little gem! Popped in to collect a parcel, stayed for coffee, currently planning a systematic sampling of a large portion of the menu... The coffee is smooth and rich, and well made by people who clearly know what they're doing.I love the fact that YK caters for both vegetarians AND vegans with separate dishes, which is rare these days, and they're also gluten free-friendly!Add in a warm welcome, and despite the distance from home, this place is likely to become a favourite haunt.

We ordered a fabulous tasty and beautifully presented “Winter Warmer Burger” & Chips, followed by delicious coffee.The burger was a large handmade beef with pan fried mushrooms & onions then cheese, in a light Brioche bun, topped with the crispiest onion rings that I have ever eaten.The gorgeous chips were just the best in town.Well done to owner Tony, his chef, and friendly staff since opening his brand new kitchen & fab new menu in super surroundings & with a great ambience in the Cafe.We are very local customers & would recommend all to visit your Cafe.Well done.Victoria Plymouth

A good stop for a coffee on a busy Mutley Plain. Has a very cosy and local feel to the cafe. The coffee is good with several syrup and alternative milk options. A good change up from the commercial options on the same street.

I took a duvet cover in to be laundered and purchased a takeaway latte. Could not fault the service I received. Lovely tasting hazelnut latte too. Great place to go if you want to sit inside and watch the world carry on past.

4 of us came up today for breakfast. Have been here before. We were not disappointed. Breakfast was great yet again. Service was great as usual. Lovely ambience and friendly atmosphere.

The coffee is very tasty, lots of variety and milk options.The food is average at best and overpriced in my opinion, very pedantic about swapping or replacing items.The staff aren’t unfriendly.Nice spot to sit with a coffee but that’s about it.Also an alarm sounded regularly when I last visited, I believe it was because of the back door opening, not very pleasant.Nice decor, would recommend for coffee as it is a small local business.

A group of four of us met here for breakfast today. We ordered a mix of Yay! cooked breakfasts and coffees. All were good. Freshly cooked and hot. The server (young man) was amazing. Very polite and knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming here again.

I came here to just have a drink and some food. I tried ordering a milkshake but their machine was broken. After ordering a ham and cheese croissant I was told they were sold out. I got a refund and left.

Breakfast here is awesome! Probably one of the best tasting I've had and good value for money. Unfortunately both times I've visited my coffee was served with burnt milk which wasn't textured properly. Would definitely return and reccomend, may give the coffee another try or just change up my drink order.

Cafe prices are very reasonable. No greater way to do your washing, leave it, have coffee and pick up later. Laundry excellent service and no laundrette smell to clothes it smells like I’ve done it at home gorgeous. Staff helpful and extremely friendly. Great place

Nice little coffee shop. Decent coffee, nice teas, light meals. Friendly and relaxed. Normally at least half full which is a good sign. A good alternative to the soulless chains. Would recommend.

No parece que este restaurante tenga el equipo para preparar un desayuno completo, pero ofrecen el trabajo.Desafortunadamente, no deberían. Frío. Ya sea poco cocido o cocido en exceso. No vale el dinero. Un miembro del personal parecía ser amable y ocupado. El otro, ni amigable ni ocupado. Vergüenza.

Visited this cafe today having walked past it a dozen times and not really realising it was there. WOW absolutely fantastic value breakfast with DECENT SAUSAGES 😃. Lady behind the counter was lovely nothing too much trouble. Great atmosphere lovely surroundings and cracking breakfast

Lovely cafe on main strip of Mutley plain. I walked past it a dozen times without realising it is there. Will not be making that mistake again... by far THE BEST BREAKFAST in the area. Good value and DECENT SAUSAGES. Really lovely atmosphere and surroundings. Nothing too much trouvle gor lovely young lady serving, I Will defo be back.

Yay Coffee... and pancakes! Sorry no pictures this time, I was too busy scoffing them. It's a fun place where you can expect simple yet delicious food served with a smile, and the prices aren't bad either.

Come in here regularly with my gran! We always have a lovely visit. The value for money is fantastic, breakfasts are delicious and worth every penny. Lovely hot drinks, vegan options, and customer service is really welcoming, bringing us back again and again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing, no nonsense cafe. Not used the laundry service before but today I tried the chocolate orange cake- omg. It was delicious! (Like a big Jaffa cake). Always have a lovely time. Thank you!

Came in today for a late brunch, had a huge cooked breakfast and it was only £7 which was amazing value for money. The staff we're really kind and didn't mind swapping an item in the meal for another too. Coffee was lovely, came out piping hot and the service was really quick. Cute decor and atmosphere, will be returning soon! thank you

I haven’t eaten or had coffee here. Just used the laundry service. Lovely looking place and friendly staff, although took my washing in my laundry bag and upon picking up my laundry my bag had been broken and no one apologised to me about this. My whites also still had marks and there were marks from the washing powder on some of my clothes. The washing did smell lovely and fresh though

when it first opened was a lovely, smart cafe but has slowly gone downhill. At one point it started selling bric a brac! I went in one Sunday for a coffee before heading home. Ordered and paid for a coffee and biscuit at the counter, The biscuit arrived immediately but I waited and waited and waited for the coffee. It never came meanwhile the chap at the bar was serving other people so maybe he forgot about me not very professional. In the end I left without the coffee I just couldn't be bothered to complain and wished I had not gone in there it was the dullest place imaginable by now. Such a shame they started so will. Have not been back since nor will I.

A really warm and friendly place with lovely staff, a good menu and decent prices. I've been here on numerous occasions and it's always fab. The breakfasts are excellent and their 'light bites' are just the right size. I recommend their chai latte. The laundry service is very good as well, I've had duvets and all sorts cleaned by them and was very impressed by the quality of their work. Added too all this is the fact that they are so willing to get involved in community projects such as Mutley Matters and a variety of other events. Their willingness shows a geniune care for the community that is, sadly, rarely seen in many businesses these days.

I have been here twice in the past 3 weeks. Both times having something different. With and without others with me. On this occasion I had a bacon bitty and a latte. Last time a breakfast and tea. All at reasonable price and tasty. Even a range of daily papers to read provided. I would recommend it. I will come again.

A small english breakfast comprising a top quality piece of bacon and sausage. Well produced egg, quality bread, a tomato that has flavour and some baked beans. Good ingredients equals potential for good food. Coffee was ok and service polite and respectful.

Mutley Plain has its fair share of cafes and pubs and this is one of the best. Cosy, friendly service and good value food and great barista coffee. I can’t resist the breakfast sausage and bacon is yum and the eggs cooked just right- and not covered in fat. The kids love the toasted sandwiches at lunch time. We haven’t checked out the laundry yet but seems a good idea - eating a hearty breakfast while someone else does the washing, drying and ironing!

Visited with family and friends on a weekday, late afternoon. The kids enjoyed soya milk milkshakes (which tasted amazing! much better than Costa’s do!!) the adults enjoyed piping hot coffee, hot chocolate and a caramel latte. We also had slices of chocolate cake, carrot cake and chocolate and orange cake. All were eaten and plates duly scraped!!!!!
