The best restaurants in Plymouth South West

Visited here today and will definitely be visiting again,the breakfast I had was amazing value with really good quality bacon and sausages and the service is excellent the gentleman told me.they had not long taken over the business, they really do deserve to do well because so much effort as definitely been put in,much better then all the big chain eateries that are in town

I have had many espresso martinis and negroni, and these are honestly the best. The service is amazing, some of the most friendliest bar staff ever! Always a good night.

Greeted warmly by staff, who are the most beautifully hearted humans. Nothing was too much trouble. It’s clear to see they are well loved in the community. Lovely atmosphere. Clean and comfortable. Incredible veggie breakfast. Quality. Tasty. Fresh. Absolutely 10/10 And the most devine hot chocolate ever. Xx

Just nipped in after a day at the aquarium and tried the new burger deal they have going on Amazing food, amazing service, nice and cozy place. Highly recommend

What a lovely place- very friendly girl who was serving with a lovely kind smile- you can have a few scopes in a tub or on a cone- I had a small tub with one scope of the caramel biscuit which in honesty filled the tub.. she let me try a few different ones for free for when I want to come again.. very clean. Lots of different choices to choose from.. I think I’ll try the chocolate one next time that my friend had. Definitely will be going back

Went with friends for my first time. What a great little gem this is! Loved the decor,relaxed atmosphere and so inviting! Staff were great also. I had the slimmers breakfast which was delicious, I would've liked a few more mushrooms and tomatoes but that's because I love my veg! Well done Kate for a fantastic cafe supporting dementia friendly surroundings and contributions to the hub upstairs. Lovely to see an independent business doing this,a shame more conventional cafes don't! I'll be back!😊

As my partner and I were in Plymouth we decided to have an ice cream so we stopped here what can I say this place is amazing the young man at Gertie's was funny and very helpful and knowledgeable I can't praise the shop any more loved everything if we are down this way again we will definitely pop in again

Delivery available, easy to arrange. Order by phone for simplicity and confidence. Food we had was great, although a previous order had been a bit ‘chewy’. Two rices, veg and blackbeans, beef with ginger/shallots, chicken+green veg. Singapore Chow me in is quite spicey. All yummy. Delivered right on time.

A smashing little 'no frills' outdoor food provider on the Hoe situated inside a little fort/turret. Having walked a long way on a very warm day I was in need of a drink and bite to eat. What better than a cuppa and a bacon buttie, sitting outside and looking over Plymouth Sound, served up by a lovely gentleman - all for under £6. Thank you

This place has changed so much it is now a pleasure to eat here. The staff always are cheery and the welcome is great. The food is also very nice my early morning treat of a Bacon or Sausage Bap is great. Both products in a lovely Bun with three delicious sausages or three slice of nicely cooked back bacon. Thanks for getting my day off with a smile

We decided to go here on a Saturday lunch time. After ordering our drinks the bar staff proceeded to tell us that they wouldn't be serving food until 2PM which was far too late for us. Seemed like a rip off, just wanted our money for the drinks. The manager was also sat there counting his money, this could have been done on a Monday afternoon when there aren't any customers. Won't be returning.
