Had a meatball pizza from the new Hunger fix wow wow wow would highly recommend. Unable to show a pic of it it was gone in minutes.

Pasé hoy y el lugar estaba lleno de comerciantes ocupados. Es interesante ver que la parte inferior de la ventana delantera tenía un letrero que decía "Solución del hambre". Parece positivo y que pronto se abrirá un nuevo café.

Pasamos por este apacible café independiente cerca del extremo occidental de Mutley Plain varias veces a la semana. Hacía un intercambio estable y era útil, lejos del estilo de fórmula de las grandes cadenas de cafeterías al otro lado de la calle. Cerró por el encierro, pero no volvió a abrir citando enfermedades y razones personales. Ahora está claro que los propietarios han dejado de comerciar. Este es un buen sitio y la unidad funcionó muy bien durante décadas como un proveedor de ropa para caballeros de primer nivel y luego como una librería radical. Mutley Plain tiene un interior denso y de altos ingresos. Pide a gritos un bistró o restaurante de calidad. Hay un semisótano con amplio espacio para cocina. Esperamos que alguien vea y aproveche la oportunidad.

Hemos estado frecuentando este acogedor café en Mutley Plain, Plymouth, ahora durante varios años, ya que vivimos muy localmente. Sue y su esposo Gary son anfitriones amables y Sue cocina maravillosos especiales de almuerzos caseros todos los días, muy sabrosos, porciones generosas y una excelente relación calidad-precio, además de su menú regular extremadamente completo que incluye desayuno y cafés, etc. Recientemente ha comenzado sirviendo una selección de asados con todas las verduras, también un domingo. Recomendaría seriamente esta pequeña joya a cualquiera que aprecie la comida casera. Salgo a comer en el área de Plymouth muy a menudo para el almuerzo, el desayuno y la cena, y recientemente he estado un poco desanimado por los menús caros, sin cuidado ni amor por la comida. Este menú tiene un precio extremadamente justo. No puedo creer el valor, sin embargo, todo está hecho en casa y tienen muchas ofertas especiales, opciones vegetarianas y vegetarianas también. . . Hoy comí un desayuno que fue uno de los mejores que he probado en Plymouth, no era fanático de los papas fritas, pero todo lo demás era de buena calidad y sabroso. . . Live locally fancied a bacon and egg bap so Partner hopped across road Greeted by Very friendly staff. Took seat in spacious and clean cafe with friendly atmosphere. very quick service of Bacon and egg with a little mustard and tomato sauce served in a fresh soft whit baps. Thankful wrapped in foil with a serviette and paper bag easy to carry home. Thank you very much. it was Yummy! See you again soon.

Love this place. Have been here many times over the past year. The food is fresh and cooked with love. I would recommend the cottage pie and the roasts are delicious with very generous portions. The puddings are so naughty I need a nap after them. Well done guys its great to see an independant cafe amongst the depressing chains.

Munchies is a boon for anyone living locally as for many they have their main meal of the day there EVERY DAY and we are all on friendly terms with each other and the owners Sue and Gary. They produce a choice of main meals daily which are delicious with a home cooked taste that are modestly priced. The breakfast crowd enjoy a generous fry-up and Christmas lunch is a joy to eat. Always busy, friendly and we would be lost without our Munchies. Can't fill in the next 2 properly as am there at different days and times for either coffee, lunch or tea throughout the year.

I am going to be understanding and a little generous. My first visit to this little cafe. The prices are really cheap so if cheap meals are what you want you wont go too far wrong here. A basic fried breakfast is what you get with a better quality toast. Nothing special but good simple cooking. At the time of my visit one member of staff was doing everything a little later joined by a second. While service was fast and polite I would normally expect more contact time. But I am definitely not going to hold that against this place. The reason i know the place is running a slightly reduced service because one key member of staff has not been so well and I'm sure fully resourced the service would have been 100 percent. The decor and style is not to my taste. But if u want a low cost breakfast this place is fine.

Nice cafe at the end of Mutley, Friendly staff. Nicely cooked food, hat homemade chicken bacon and leek in cheese sauce. Love the coffee will return more regularly

Found Mutley’s Munchies wondering through the town and popped in. Really glad I did, a proper fry up with a nice pint of cider. My breakfast of choice in the UK. The place is surrounded by chain restaurants and fast food joints but for a proper fry up this place would be hard to beat.

The variety of good home-cooked food in offer is always impressive, and we recently ordered from the Christmas lunch menu and it was delicious. It is good to see that vegetarians are catered for and we found the home-cooked nut-roast, and accompanying vegetables to be delicious. The service as always was very good, and we look forward to visiting this excellent restaurant in 2018

Great astmophere, nice and friendly staff! This place reminds me of the old Mutleys Cafe that's across the road - similar astmophere and design which I love! Food was lovely - lovely cooked breakfasts. Would definelty recommend this place over other cafés in Mutley.

Always friendly, plenty to choose from, food delicious and big portion's. Also reasonably priced. Close to all amenities , local buses and shop's, child friendly .Good all round experience and definatly be going there again. Even a tv .

Good Homecooked food whether it's breakfast or lunch. Reasonable priced. They have a specials board - all delicious. Also Yummy deserts, love the summer fruits crumble & custard.. Also Lemon Meringue Pie. Mutleys Munchies is a must to visit with its good Homecooked food, friendly staff/owners. Nothing is too much trouble!

A quirky little cafe, with a large menu of food & drink. Popped in on a whim and had a very nice large breakfast with a cup of tea. Prompt service & great value for money. Worth a visit.

I took my son (17 months old) for lunch here, ordered a jacket potato with beans and the white bait dish, service was prompt and the food looked really tasty and well presented but as our meals arrived unfortunately so did a handful of extremely rude customers, as we started to eat we were made to endure poisonous stares and some very harsh comments about my child being in the cafe, with one woman even standing in front of my child, looking him up and down and hissing "oh for gods sake, I'm not sitting here" (at her reserved table) and demanding to be moved. Ok so she didn't want to sit near a child fair enough but after moving to the opposite end of the cafe I thought the matter would be resolved but she and almost ever other dinner continued to talk about us, not exactly discreetly, and made me feel so uncomfortable that I actually got up and left having hardly touch our £16 meals. I understand it's not the staffs fault but they heard everything that was said and didn't seem to care that there was such a hostile atmosphere directed at me and my child. I left feeling quite upset and a bit confused as it's advertised as a friendly cosy atmosphere and great for kids. Maybe I tuned up on the wrong day,I don't know but the customers were obviously regulars as the staff knew them by name, will certainly NOT be returning, which is a shame because the little bit of my meal that I was able to eat was fantastic, couldn't fault the food.

We have been here twice now and have not been disappointed with the food and the choices. We will be returning.

Encontré este lugar como estábamos mirando alrededor Mutley sencillas y necesitaba algo de almuerzo. Parecía bonito, así que nos detuvimos en. El personal era muy amable, la comida era abundante y muy buena y el precio era sin duda muy bueno. Lo recomendamos encarecidamente!

He estado para almorzar en Mutley de picar en varias ocasiones, a veces sola, éste apretaba con mi esposa. Hay un extenso menú, pero tiendo a vire hacia las ofertas especiales que se muestra en una tabla fuera de la cafetería. Estos van desde comida confort estándar tales como pastel de muy poco imaginativo ofertas pero siempre me ha dado un abundante plato sabroso, comida casera. En nuestra última visita, mi mujer sólo quería un sándwich, este llegó en una variedad de tipos de pan y estaba muy fresco.

This was my wife and my-self's first visit to Mutley Munchies and can say it most definitely won't be our last.There is a very impressive range of meals on offer all at really good inexpensive price's. The meals we had were cooked very well and the service was second to none. Whether you want a snack or a top class meal I can recommend Mutleys Munchies.

This place is one of Mutley's best kept secrets. The breakfast's are pretty damn decent if you fancy an early feed but for me the best time to visit this friendly establishment is lunchtime. They have superb home made soups and the specials on other for the main lunch menu are delicious. I was far too full to even consider a pudding but from what I saw across the table opposite from ours,they cooked scrumptious. This is the place to go for lunch on a weekday,that is for sure!

Friendly and professional service. There’s a real community feel to this Cafe . Food and drink is of good quality and priced very reasonably .

I did not expected anything and I was pleasantly surprised. I had a burger that was with fries, salad and coleslaw. Nice food, very nice staff.

Wonderful atmosphere in here. A friendly restaurant perfect for the all day breakfast in the heart of Mutley. So much praise for the fantastic hard working staff at Mutley Munchies who deliver delicious meals time after time. I do usually go for the all day breakfast, but I've seen the other meals served and heard the compliments by other customers which always makes me want to come back and try another meal! Great job.

Great food, good prices and friendly staff. We pop in here regular for either food or a quick drink and always find the owners busy serving their homemade food. The prices are very reasonable too.

Brought my chef in to feed before work, standard cafe. Clean, which is good. Chap was hospitable, woman, not so. Breakfast a touch lacking for what it was and the coffee was somewhere between ok and good. Probably will stop in again, if only to support independents. Thanks

Enjoyed a breakfast which was freshly prepared and generous. A definitely more relaxed and friendly atmosphere now with the new owners who made us feel welcome.We will surely return

We wanted to socialise a little with a friend of Granddad's who has helped us a lot in looking after him. She brought us here and we were welcomed and at ease immediately. The food quality wa good and we thoroughly enjoyed our session there.

Maybe a bit better than its predecessor but the signage is limp and unimpressive. You'd hardly notice it as you walk by and the name is primary school vocabulary. Been in once. Reasonable lunch deal/special but it was quiet and a bit sombre at my table.

Came in today for a quick lunch. Took a bit longer than I expected. Good pea soup and bread for under £2 but avoid the spread on the bread. Then a reasonable plateful for the special, five scampi, a big portion of mushy peas and fourteen chips, all for under £6. Friendly staff and a cosy homely feel with newspapers, board games and a pile of books and dvds for sale at about a quid each. Quite old fashioned and not at all pushy or pricey.

Not as satisfying as the Lounge Cafe that preceded it. Same basic layout but some inexplicably and not wholly successful efforts to give the place a twee folksy feel. Mutley Plain is a hotchpotch for sit down snack places., and could do with better. Not at all sure that these useful premises are being applied in the right way to succeed.. There is a huge amount of passing trade to be had. Can't recommend yet.

Probably my worst experience of any food in the uk since a motorway service station when I was 7.We ordered an Earl Grea and 2 Americanos, 1 Chicken and Mushroom slice and a Cornish Pasty.The coffee when it eventually arrived was nothing more than flavoured hot water and you could see through it, when the chicken slice came we knew it was on its way because we heard the ping of the microwave.As for the Pasty I do not know if it WAS Cornish, they would certainly had the time tio go and get one even with a ten minute delay each way on the Torpoint Ferry.It eventualy arrived, however no cuttlery, so my son had to go and get some so we coould attempt to cut trough the rubbery microwaved pastry, it was awful and definatly NOT worth the 40 minute wait.The people who run this cafe should do us all a favour and retire from the hospiality industry without furher delay. They have no idea about good coffee, good food or good service.
