The Promenade cafe Bar in Plymouth

This place has changed so much it is now a pleasure to eat here. The staff always are cheery and the welcome is great. The food is also very nice my early morning treat of a Bacon or Sausage Bap is great. Both products in a lovely Bun with three delicious sausages or three slice of nicely cooked back bacon. Thanks for getting my day off with a smile

Ok so the fried breakfasts were reasonably good. But with a little extra attention they could be very good. Use warm plates and don’t nuke the bacon 😉 Nice setting and the staff clearly care.

A lot of changes taken place to this establishment from its former name and owners, when it was called Valenties. Love the new clean grassless outside area, more tables and seating = more customers. Not the cheapest eateries around but definitely great value for money, l hope they don't fall victim to the appalling practice of a nearby eatery whose owner offered free teas & coffees to customers in return for leaving negative reviews to the then Valenties, despicable practice, so my advice, regardless of reviews, always check places out yourself.

Excellent. Great value, large Baggett stuffed full one egg mayonnaise one ham cheese. lowest price on the Hoe. Great service.

Pleasant visit. Good location. Food served fresh and quickly. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Will certainly be visiting again.

Good choice of breakfasts served promptly in a great setting, staff all very friendly and welcoming, well worth a visit, it was our first time and will definitely be returning.

Excellent friendly service, delicious food, arrived quickly Came here after a bad experience at The Terrace with uninterested staff and a 40 min wait for food, 30 min wait for coffee!!! Highly recommend the promenade as an alternative, definitely my go to place now!

What a breath of fresh air ,I owned a cafe for 15 years and am always disappointed when I venture out and about. I have visited here 3-4 times now staff are really friendly ,very approachable and nothing is too much trouble. Position of the cafe and the changes they have made are amazing I could sit there all day everyday. The food is freshly prepared and good quality ingredients. Keep doing what your doing your a great team. Look forward to our next trip in from Looe . Thankyou all x

Amazing service by Alisha and Bella. Considering their age, they were very professional and helpful. Been here a few times and clearly the owner likes to take advantage of cheap labour and only employs very young girls. Luckily these two were great! And they were a credit to the business. I would come back again with service like that.

The worst food, £9.50 for nanchos which tasted horrible! They used really cheap ingredients and overcharged massively. Coffee spilt over the table by waitress who didn’t even offer to get a new drink.

really nice waitress, said she was called ashtyn, helped me and my other half out with lots with great service and being very kind to us. constantly checked in on us and made sure everything was up to standard. couldn’t have asked for anything more from her. she deserves some praise for such amazing work at a clearly young age

Perfect location, brilliant staff and amazing food. The food is all freshly cooked and the cafe is the best you will get! On a sunny day, or even a dry not so sunny day the new outside area is fantastic 😎 Dogs are very welcome. Oh and I forgot to mention the ice cream and wine🥂🍻🍰🍦

Had the new vegan burger and my partner had the carrot cake. There were three vegan cakes to choose from, very impressed. The burger was one of the best I've had, and the cake was amazing. Thanks guys 👍

Four of us called in, ordered six things, 4 of which came out wrong. Took five attempts to get one single order right. As if no one was listening.

This is a small cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Cooked breakfasts available plus some light lunches (pasties, sausage rolls etc) and great selection of cakes. They have a licence so you can enjoy a beer.

We walked the dog all over the Hoe this blustery late June Tuesday lunchtime and came over here expecting and appropriately hearty lunch only to find the place locked and empty. We checked the Facebook page and here and both confirmed full day opening hours....

A lovely little cafe sitting within the car parking area, overlooking the sea and surrounding area. We had bacon baps and hot drinks sitting outside. All decent enough.

A quick trip to the Hoe at the weekend led me to rediscovering this little gem. Reasonably priced food and drinks with great service. I haven’t visited here for years but will most definitely be back as very child and dog friendly.

We visited with our kids and enjoyed drinks with a view! Kids loved the ice cream and the chips are particularly good!! Really recommend- such a pretty building, lovely outside space and a view you just can’t beat!

Love this cafe ! It has new owners and they are absolutely lovely. Everyone is very welcome and the food is lovely 😃 They also sell lovely ice creams for the kids.
