Delivery available, easy to arrange. Order by phone for simplicity and confidence. Food we had was great, although a previous order had been a bit ‘chewy’. Two rices, veg and blackbeans, beef with ginger/shallots, chicken+green veg. Singapore Chow me in is quite spicey. All yummy. Delivered right on time.

We have ordered here many times and always enjoyed .. until tonight . Phoned a delivery at 17.20 .. meals were here at 17.40 . Curry sauce was cold .. not warm .. cold ! The other food was definitely re- heats .. chicken very dry .. not impressed. Waste of money

Hands down the best Chinese takeaway in Plymouth a little more expensive than most but the difference in quality really is noticeable. We won’t be going anywhere else from now on.!!

I have tried many items on the New Oriental tea room menu, yesterday I tried the ‘smoked chicken’ and I can honestly say it’s the best chicken dish I’ve ever eaten from any Chinese takeaway or restaurant. Absolutely incredible. Also if you like beef, the ‘beef and onion’ is also one of my favourite meals from this takeaway 👍🏻

My daughter is Coeliac and the gentleman on the phone was really helpful with menu choices. On arrival he had taken the time to highlight all gluten free choices on a takeaway menu for us for future visits. To top it off the food was wonderful - will definitely order from them again.

WoW! What can we say! The food is so pure tasting, clean fabulous flavours. The FRESHEST of ingredients...mixed veg in black bean sauce...they’re so incredibly helpful. Honestly hands down the best Chinese/Malaysian takeaway in Plymouth. We moved here 7 years ago from Kent and have had endless disappointing Chinese takeaways and had given up that we would ever find a good one until we was recommended this place and it is amazing! Such good quality, authentic clean flavours and extremely tasty food and not full of the usual gloopy sugary Stuff a lot of takeaways seem to serve up in Plymouth. Thank you new oriental tea room for finally giving me a takeaway which is amazing and I can look forward to ordering from time and time again :-)

Ordered lemon chicken, which tasted stale. Rice was stodgy, chicken balls over cooked. Crispy chilli chicken was very dry, very little sauce. Really disappointed after reading reviews.

Really the best takeawy we have ever had. The marmite pork is amazing, and the sea spicy beef. Everything was perfect. Put it this way, we live a three hour drive away and we are already planning another holiday in Plymouth so we can eat here again!
