The best restaurants in North Somerset South West

I ordered the food and I put on there do not ring door bell because it’s late and the driver has turned up in a car with no exhaust on it waking up the dead and then rung the doorbell setting my dogs off barking and woke up the whole house didn’t even apologise nothing and was just so rude and then didn’t give me my drink that I ordered so I’m not impressed with the driver at all !! Then there’s the food chips and onion rings were like they were done in a microwave not cooked properly at all they were really soggy My burger was stone cold and rock solid even snapped a tooth trying to eat it so that went straight in the bin(yes I do look after my teeth) The fish and mushy peas the fish was tiny for a large and stone cold also and the mushy peas were everywhere all over the inside the box so Yh never ordering from them ever again waste of money and time !!

Run down and old waitress lovely but coffee and tea cake low quality and very expensive dryers in the loos have not worked for a long time so the the staff told me needing an upgrade

We only had ice cream, which was very nice , prices reasonable

Good Chinese food and helpful staff

Please read the other reviews and dont waste your money and time with this place. Food is the worst I ever eaten from a Chinese takeaway. Every thing was over cooked and nothing close in similarities compared to other places, have been eating Chinese food for over 20 years. Just so disappointed.

Terrible Menu and management has changed, resulting in sloppy staff, cold food, small portion sizes and slow waiting times. I ordered a burger for my 12 year old child and it took her 2 mouthfuls to finish. Im not impressed.

For a busy seaside pub on a Saturday lunchtime, we went with certain expectations..... They were wrong. The food here is just brilliant. As a group, we ordered a range from the chefs brunch through to the chicken souvlaki. None of this dissapointed and I can thoroughly recommend eating here.

Don’t bother coming here if you have any type of allergy or dietary requirements. 100% not willing to accommodate you as its company policy to not substitute or remove items from meals.

Always a lovely experience here no matter what whether we come here for breakfast, lunch or dinner, staff are always friendly and the food is always delicious.

Always enjoy the breakfast buffet here at the weston pavillian branch, food is nice and great that the kids can eat free. Our server Sam was great, very professional, friendly and helpful, asked about allergies, informed us of everything we needed to know and made us feel welcome.

I'm staying at the Premier Inn, decided to take a walk out and stumbled across a Wetherspoons. This wouldn't be my normal choice, but I made the best choice. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful plus the food was great a meal, side and a pint for under £20.

Very popular pub, went for meal during half term, found it lacking any joy. We ordered, kids meals came out drier than shoe leather, clearly hot holding for certain items was being done, but it wasn’t needed as it was very quiet. Everything felt a little grubby, cutlery had to be collected yourself (which is fine) but it was by the entrance and anyone could have coughed or sneezed on it walking past! Shame as have been before and enjoyed it!

Came today 20/4/25, Easter Sunday, on the menu stated cavery till 6pm, no carvery they had closed it a lot earlier, fine need to choose something else, picked pizza to be told they don’t serve pizza on a Sunday that’s a Monday- Saturday thing, fine choose another meal, ordered food, ate food only to then walk past another table who arrived after us, to eating pizza, when asked “oh the waitress that put it through didn’t know” but surly your kitchen staff are aware it’s not done on a Sunday? Highly disappointed

Welcoming pub and good location after a swim in the lake. We hadn’t booked and were lucky to find a table for 3 as it was busy. The food was good.

Terrible service 2 servers at the 30ft long bar both serving 1 person together, waited at the bar for 10 minutes when the barmaid instructed, in a rude manner, all those at the bar to form a queue where she was serving, but 4ft from the bar, ludicrous!! This is despite wetherspoons official policy of no queue forming, its like crazy covid rules are still in place. Walked out and went to a real , no covid rules, bar. Never going back to this place again.
