Always worth a visit for a cheap drink. Like all other Wetherspoons. No dogs allowed even in the garden. Just bought drinks and sat in the beer garden of the pub next door.

Popped in for some food and some drinks really wish I hadn’t. Firstly we sat on a table that had plates and glasses all over it because my other half has knee issues so needed to be easy for her to move around. Ordered food and some drinks my other half ordered a iced latte they come to the table with some syrups in a glass said nothing about having to go to the machine to pour the coffee, I went to the machine no ice in site for an iced latte. We ordered 2 plates of wings and a plate of loaded fries (they weren’t loaded) absolutely abysmal, it looked like the chef got two peoples left overs and put it in a bowl. We didn’t finish our wings so I asked a guy for a take away box he said sure no problem 5 minutes later he walks past and says oh sorry are you still wanting a box and I said yes. 10 minutes pass so I go to the bar to ask for a box the guy I originally asked is on pot wash so I ask a manager lady for a box she says yes goes in the kitchen 4 minutes later she walks out with trays of food, walks straight past me. I ask another person she goes in the kitchen and brings me 6 take away boxes????? I feel once they have your money you’re no longer important to them at all. I won’t be setting foot in that s*^% hole ever again. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I gave it 1 star because none wasn’t an option. Save your money and thank me later.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour was sat outside with some friends and my four legged friend having a beer. When I was asked to leave stating dogs were not allowed on the premises by some chippy little oik, I explained that we were outside and he was hurting no one. The male in question took my drink and poured it on the floor asking me to leave, I was gob smacked. Tim Martin is this really the way your staff are trained to treat customers. 🤔🤔

Do not bother using this spoons for breakfast. Food come out cold, had to ask for warm beans as ususal for weatherspoons, had to ask for more beans on 1 plate. £30 and very disappointed Other customers sending items back the same time we had ours. Chefs, sorry microwave technician need to understand temp control within the kitchen and understand danger zones of food when served. Not gonna use thus spoons for food again.

Came out for food, ordered at 7.09pm food and drink. Food came reasonably quick but drinks took over half hour later, arriving after we'd eaten. The staff were unaware. We had to go up in the end to ask about it. This seems to be a regular occurrence here despite it being quiet.

I have not been here for a long time. I used to think it was good. Decided to have an early meal here. We both had chicken burgers. My daughter ate half of hers i couldn't eat mine. Processed chicken was like rubber. It was vile,i asked the waiter to take mine off the bill which he did.. he was great and very sorry that we were disappointed.. I would suggest go here for a drink but eat elsewhere. Come on Mr weatherspoon you can do better than this. Thank you to the waiter, sorry i don't know his name.. I always feel sorry when you have good conscientious waiting staff that have to bring out poor meals.. Won't go back for food.

To begin with, I've eaten here many times over the years, however, tonight was my first visit in a while. What a difference time can make! This used to be a place where the food, while reasonably priced, was always better than its pricing point. The food would would be of good quality, well presented and good value for money. I've never before had any reservation in recommending this Wetherspoons. Fast forward to tonight and it was like no trace of the previous quality in food and service remains. I can't say this any other way; the meal was awful. I had steak because tonight was 'Steak Club'. The steak was full of sinews and fat. I had to cut at least 25% of it away as inedible. The chips were mushy like they'd been cooked and kept in a container where steam build up has softened them. They were just mushy, cold and horrible. The onion rings were stale. The peas were cold. All in all, the worst meal I've had there by far and certainly the worst I've had anywhere else. I told the waiter to tell the chef that the food was 'dreadful'. I'm sorry, but there's no point in not being honest. Whether he told the chef, I don't know. I sincerely hope he did. Everyone deserves a chance to improve and that only comes with honest feedback. Please Cabot Court; get this sorted out. The food wasn't good at all and the staff not nearly as engaged with customers as they used to be! You used to cine back and ask how the food is. Maybe, you know how it is so don't ask because you know what people will say. Get your standards back and make this place like it used to be!

What can you say about any wetherspoons? They have a business model of good food, good prices, more or less cheerful staff and a very pleasant area to eat in. The only thing that's left is ones experience. When we visited, it was busy and got very busy. We thought it would take longer than normal to gey our orders. After approx 1hour we made enquiries. Oh, the waiter came up twice, called out "table x", no reply so took it back!! Now I have a few issues with this story : surely the waiters know where table x, y, or z are! If not a floor plan must be available. Nobody called out our table number anywhere near us. After 30 mins of waiting we were clocking each and every tray of food coming up the stairs and past us. Not only did we not see our orders, but none ever passed back down. Next issue was the food arrived warm and was cold by the time we were finishing it. Next issue was two doors were wedged open causing a fierce draft of cold air to pass between the two of them. There were many tables in its flight path. All in all, a pretty poor experience, the worse by a country mile that we have ever experienced.

We went to wetherspoons for a quick bite and had 2 burgers, 1 double American and 1 cheese. They were the worst burgers I ever had. Overcooked, dry and tasted like dog food. We were sitting outside and asked for tomoto sauce to try and soften the dry burgers but were told to go inside and get it ourselves. I left most of the burger and even the seagulls didn't want it obviously they had tried them before. I shall never return. They have most of the building under plastic and scaffolding, inside is very hot. Most of the beers were not available The sign says 'We are open' but they should close it down as its no longer a pleasure to go to.

We stayed at Pontins and went into this pub for some lunch on the Saturday, it was a very big pub with plenty of tables. We had some very nice food and would go back. A great selection of real ales on offer too.

We visited Wetherspoons on the Saturday (same day as the Cafe Mambo Ibiza beach festival) and from past experiences it’s always been a local favourite. You can order food and drink on the app - the food came very quickly but no drinks with them. Upon following this up with two staff we were just told nothing could be done they’re very busy there’s a delay, yet more customers would go up to the bar to order drinks causing further delays. After going to the bar to get them myself I was told they’d been delivered to the table, but if there wasn’t any there to come back and they’d sort it. I went back to the table to find the Lemonade had arrived but the water still did not. This caused lots of disgruntlement for many customers; as I understand there were more customers than usual and the demand was too much it seemed. A suggestion would be for one bar to deal with the app ordering and the other for customers ordering at the bar, as the kitchen had no issues but the bar staff did. I can’t fault the food but the drinks and overall customer service wasn’t good on this occasion. Hopefully it improves with other events on the beach.

After a good day in the town thought the four of us would pop in for a bit of lunch, what a mistake that was probably one of the worst meals we have ever had, the meat on my mixed grill was so tough i could barely get my knife through it the whole meal was cold and i think they opened a tin of peas and put them straight on the plate friends of ours had a breakfast and they we also cold meals this is definitely one place will not be returning to. If you like your food hot and cooked i would suggest you find another restaurant.

We stopped in for a coffee after walking around the town, a nice stopping point in one of the biggest wetherspoons i have been in. Free refills too so great value for money. We would pop back in next time!

Website was down so had to order food & drinks at the bar. I asked for a halloumi wrap with no salad, however It was brought to me cold and with salad inside. Removed it from my wrap and this is is I was left with (see photo). Won’t be returning.

Went for breakfast at the Weston super mare weatherspoons ordered a VEGAN breakfast and was brought a full English I took it back and the bar staff didn't care and where very rude about it, i had to find the manager who sorted it out for me and to get it changed will NEVER ! Go there again

Typical Weatherspoon pub, a little tired but cheap and cheerful. Gets busy over the lunch period but the staff work very hard to keep up.

Had 3 nights in Weston Super Mare and had lunch here each day. Very busy but were served very quickly each day. The meals were very good typical wetherspoons meals. It was clean and tidy.

Called in for lunch looked busy, but this pub has several floors so went up stairs which has its own bar and toilets. Waited few minutes to order. Jacket potato with tuna and salad with an included lager . Took about 15 mins to arrive. Was cooked warm and tasty. They also have a beer garden at the side, but not clear it belongs to the venue as the signs advertise a beer garden for a hotel next door

Very busy but the staff worked tirelessly. We had quite a long wait for the online order and unfortunately we had issues with the fish and chip lunch. After complaining to the duty manager the lunches were reordered and came a little better and were offered a refund for one meal which we accepted. Unfortunately the refund didn’t come but after contacting the pub Kaz and Ami sorted it out. Although there were issues the staff were fantastic. You can always rely on Weatherspoon. Thanks

Well turned up here today for a spot of dinner with son and grandchildren who had come from Birmingham to find everything seemed off menu ,probably didn’t have any chips . Both me and my wife visited this Wetherspoons bar during a trip to Weston-Super-Mare on a coach trip. The first afternoon we visited, there was one person trying to serve a few customers and do the online ordering, we had to wait had to wait almost 20 minutes to receive our drinks, the second time it was quicker to collect them from the bar. On our second day again because there was lots of people at the bar, I ordered through the app, and even though there was 4 members of staff behind the bar, it took just over 15 minutes to receive our drinks! Even though they have a 10 minutes service time to get your drinks to you, not impressed at all, will give it a miss in future.

What a horrible awful place!!! Most of the staff are rude, patronising and have stinking attitudes. I understand it’s not easy times and I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes trying to police and manage COVID restrictions but this was a shambles. Drinks and food did take ages but it was extremely busy so I understand that, but after waiting all that time they kept messing up our order. They gave us the wrong drinks and missed drinks out. After ordering our food they come back and told us that they had run out of everything on the menu other than pizza and chips, but these things happen and not the waiters fault so we would have just accepted that. It was the man on the door who was an absolute nightmare! and one of the other waiters, I think he might have been a manager because he was the only one with a strap around his arm, he walked around like he owned the place on a massive power trip and talking to people like dirt. It also seemed to be one rule for one and one for another. We were 2 families, 9 of us altogether. They gave us one small table that we just about managed to squeeze on to. So when the table next to us become available we moved the five children onto it, as there is no way we would have fit all our food on that small table, we could hardly move all squashed in. He stormed up to us and said “I’ve got an issue, can the kids sit on your table” so we explained we need room to eat, and he said “I’ll let it go for now”. The beer garden was full of drunk groups the people shouting and messing around and the group next to us took up 3 tables with 1 person sitting on one of them. Just because we had children how are they less entitled than anyone else. They still had food and drinks and if we had come as 2 separate families we would have been able to have 2 tables no problem. I was disgusted by this. I also felt like the odd one out wearing a mask in the toilets, no one else had a mask on and on the way back from the toilets my friend and I heard that waiter saying to his two colleagues that “those over there with the kids are pissing me off” clearly on about us ‘really professional!!!!’ How I didn’t say something to him I never know. There is so much more I could say but I think I’ve made my point, and you can safely say we won’t be returning!
