A very nice pub in a picturesque area with both a great view and atmosphere. The meals we had were more than worth it and the staff, especially Jen who served us were friendly and helpful even though it was busy.

Booked a table for Easter Monday , we had cod & chips which was average, chips not particularly hot.when my husbands drink was served, the waiter said they had go down stairs to get my rose, it never came. When the waitress served our meal, I said not had my drink yet. So she went off, her excuse was when she came back, they didn’t know who it was for. When the bill came what a shock, a small rose £9.69. It didn’t even look a small one….Staff not particularly good. I wouldn’t recommend the place.

This place was unable to offer us a vegetarian food option. Only two veg options were listed on their menu (no vegan) and both were unaccountably 'off' (one because it was a Sunday!). When I pointed out to the staff member who was attempting to serve me (it took him at least five minutes to determine that there was no veg offer) that at least 12% of the UK population are professed vegetarians and that it was therefore reasonable to assume that around that percentage of those stepping through the doors were going to require a veg offer I got blank stares and a interjection from a colleague that "it's not his fault"! Talk about missing the point - and I wasn't being aggressive, just pointing out some facts. Here's a tip, Little Harp - 12% and growing... buck up your thinking, sort out your menu and be ready for the future.

The food was fairly priced for pub food but the quality of the food was very poor. The staff although polite wasn't very attentive. By the time we were given knives and forks our food had been served and was almost cold. The atmosphere was lovely, as was the layout. It was quite lively but in a good way. Everyone that was drinking seemed to be having a good time but as a restaurant I personally wouldn't recommend it.

Arrived with family for a bite to eat on Saturday 29th March as we arranged a bit of an early Mother’s Day get together and first visit to Clevedon. It was quite busy so we decided to sit outside. My son ordered a sandwich at the bar as he was advised that no main meals were being served outside. Fair enough! I stood in the queue and watched a gent order a sandwich for outside and some drinks. I went to place an order and was told that there was a wait for 50 minutes for main meals and then told when I gave my table number that no sandwiches( not a main meal) were being served outside despite what had just happened?… I indicated my son had just ordered at the bar for an outside table. What a cluster…. Never mind my daughter, her partner, my wife, my elderly mother in law and I didn’t make any order and my son had a refund as we didn’t want to watch him eating a meal we couldn’t join him with. Now I know it can be stressful and busy in the catering trade but this was just a very poor experience. A real shame as we were really hungry and loved the area. We ate elsewhere in a local pub where we received a great welcome. Every cloud as they say.

Had a table booked for Sunday lunchtime with friends. Ordered roasts and that was where the disappointment started. Two of the four were cold and also having re read the menu, missing items/ not as described. Having sent one roast back, it was returned within less than a minute at more or less the same temperature, seems that not even the microwave could help it. By this point another one of the roasts was discovered to be less than warm and as such both plates were sent back and due to clearly not being able to get hot food we asked not to have them replaced. The rump that was supposed to be served pink was grey and lifeless but with griddle marks from an attempted heating. The seasonal greens were limp savoy cabbage only and the roasted root vegetables missing. The manager let us know they would remove those from the bill however, when the bill eventually came, around 45 minutes following people finishing eating and waiting for the table to be cleared, the items were still on it. We had to ask for them to be removed which was pretty disappointing. Upon speaking with the person presumed to be the manager before leaving frankly, did not get left with any feeling of genuine sorrow which sadly left a bitter taste in the mouth. Would not recommend this establishment and will certainly not be returning.

Sorry but food was nowhere near as good as we have had before. Despite a low number of guests that day the time to get served or even acknowledged was far too long. A pleasant table, eventually, however the fish was terribly overcooked, peas were cold, bread was stale and double charged, Not sure the apple tart was cooked, certainly was unpalatable, but the custard was fine, As usual the beers were excellent, what a shame, the Royal Inn just up the road at Portishead will now get our custom,

We Attended their on Valentines Day, service was good, the food came out and was undercooked, chips were cold (sent them back and waited about 15 mins extra), beef burger was undercooked (even though my partner is pregnant!!!). I had chicken strips which were luke warm, chicken breast was clearly frozen and tougher, microwavable rice. The only warm thing on my plate was the salad. Very disappointed and will struggle to eat in The Little Harp again. 3 other tables of customers also complained about their food. We paid around £47 for this with minimal discount.

On a recommendation from my friends cousin, we went for lunch with our friends at The Little Harp today. My friend had booked a table, and we got a beautiful window seat. It was very busy - it is Valentines Day, so it maybe quieter on other days. It took a long time for the food to arrive, but we didn't mind as we hadn't seen one another for a long time and had lots to catch up on. When the food arrived it was good, my daughters fish was delicious, apparently. My friend and I both had the rump steak, sadly both were quite hard to cut, but they were cooked nicely and it was very tasty. The staff were absolutely lovely, even though they were very busy, a young man called Chris came round and checked that we were alright on several occasions, and took our photo for us at the end. Another young woman also checked on us several times and we were made to feel very welcomed and cared about. Thankyou for a lovely meal, and a lovely afternoon.

Would normally give a 5 star, but was very disappointed with the food Today. As a regular customer I have always enjoyed the food, but the chicken/bacon burger that I ordered was very dry and overcooked, bacon was rock hard dry. Felt like the chicken burger and bacon had been reheated and sat there for ages. Food also took a long time to come out. I have found this very disappointing as over the past 2 years I have found the food to be very good. Told the waiter about it and he admitted that it was overcooked but didn't seem overly bothered. This has left me not wanting to return anytime soon.

We had a really enjoyable dining experience at The little Harp, Pub/restaurant. We had popped in a few nights before for a pint of Guinness and the food aromas were pretty alluring. So we thought we come back to enjoy a Sunday Roast. The food was really tasty. My partner had the beef roast and I had the mushroom Wellington. Both of us had a couple of large pigs in blankets on the side. Absolutely no fault with the food. It was delicious Sunday comfort and very filling too. The service was quick and came with a big smile and positivity. Which I love. In particular, Chris, who waited our table for us, gave us an excellent experience and brought all of that positivity to the table. The building itself, decor and location is what brought us here. The lovely staff is a massive bonus. We were lucky enough to be seated near one of the huge windows overlooking the sea. I can imagine this would be a great afternoon for the summer too! Most of the sunday roast, soup and garlic mushrooms were all off the menu, leaving very little choice for vegetarians. Ordered lager shandy and got lager. Ordered Baked Camembert to start but waiter forgot to enter it so the mains came and we elected to just eat them without the starter. Steak was lovely, actually cooked medium rare as ordered and veggie burger was one of the best. But chips were pretty sparse and the main parts generally looked a bit lonely. Salad was just a few leaves with a few bits of sliced radish on top. Waiter was like a puppy, really eager to help and generally lovely, but just not really getting anything right. He went round the empty tables twice after we'd finished eating, setting them up for the next day etc but ignoring the fact that we'd obviously finished our mains, eventually we had to go to the bar to ask for a desert menu, where the 'barman' turned out to be a chef and did provide some assistance while making it clear that this was a favour and not part of his job! At no point were we asked if everything was alright (which is fair enough as the extremely appologetic waiter clearly knew it wasn't!) but there was no offer made to compensate for the obvious inadequacies.

Reserved a meal with family here after our last experience on a Sunday being told there was hardly any food available that we wanted we decided to try again; After arriving, no one acknowledged our table and we waited for roughly 30 minutes before anyone came over to take our order after having to mention it to an owner or manager. Unfortunately, just like the last visit here they did not have main meals we came for stating “sorry or fish fryer is broken no fish on the menu” and also “sorry there’s no carrot chips etc” This is disappointing hearing this a second time along with the service / ordering times. Good food when they do have it available but sadly this place needs better service if they expect people to pay £22+ for food.. the service needs to meet expectations too! Will not be coming here again after our second bad experience we recommend going else where!

Thought this place had been closed but was open. Went in for drinks to be told sternly you can only drink in the bar area! I had coffee so ventured to the coffee machine and was told to make it quick then come back to the bar as that area was for diners only. The place was empty. Staff attitude to all the customers we saw in there was awful. Not surprised if it does close or is closing, paying customers should be treated with respect.

Booked here for my dad’s birthday, as I had read lots of good reviews online, however our visit was very disappointing. We arrived at 7:30pm for our booking and didn’t get our food until gone 9o’clock. Upon arrival, we were informed that the kitchen was overwhelmed and we would have to wait to order anything. Drinks took a while and when they did arrive, we were then told that one of them couldn’t be made because they didn’t have the correct stock. When our food finally arrived, there was no acknowledgment from the staff that it was late, even though a neighbouring table in the same situation was offered free drinks as compensation. The service was not very attentive and we ended up chasing a few things, which was a shame as it was a lovely setting, but probably wouldn’t return.
