Beijing takeaway in North Somerset

Please read the other reviews and dont waste your money and time with this place. Food is the worst I ever eaten from a Chinese takeaway. Every thing was over cooked and nothing close in similarities compared to other places, have been eating Chinese food for over 20 years. Just so disappointed.

Ordered a takeaway at 7pm. Turned up with parts missing. Rang them and was greeted with the rudest man I hae ever spoke to. Told me he ‘didn’t care’ and to re do my order was ‘not happening’ Despite telling me I was the only customer so they weren’t even busy . Being the only customer at 7pm says it all really. Food was very poor

Twice now in the last 3 takeaways that have been delivered they have got it wrong. The first time my wife ended up with a meal she coud not eat (allergic to prawns). Tonight my meal was missed off completely and replaced with some crappy fried rice. Will never order again !

Sorry guys, very disappointed with our first time order. - Crispy chili beef was not crispy (very soft) - Chicken balls were overcooked and chicken was hard & Colour was dark too. - Fried rice looks like it was just reheated. Shame really as we were quite excited to try your food. 😔

Can't understand the poor reviews this place has received to be honest. As first time users of Beijing takeaway we were a little worried about what to expect after reading those but I can categorically state that the food we ordered was first class and we will be using them again. Everything was tender and very tasty although the spare ribs were a little tough but that is the only slight criticism we had! Chow mein is as good as any we have had and the beef with straw mushrooms and baby corn was filled to the brim with all three, you don't always get that, at some places you have to play hunt the mushrooms!! Fried rice was spot on, cooked just right, not dry and not greasy. We enjoyed it very much and additionally the delivery was prompt and the driver pleasant and polite. 91/2 out of 10!!

Placed an order and was over charged. Whilst sat waiting for food to be cooked I noticed how dirty and un clean it is. Mould all over the floor sealer brown marks on the wall.

My food was almost half a hour late and I was extremely disappointed when it arrived. chicken was tough and sauces were very generic and overly salty/Gloopy. very shocked to see the high ratting held by this restaurant. The delivery guy was very pleasant and apologetic

King prawn curry was lovely. Sausage and chips for the kids was very oily and not very nice. I would use them again for Chinese food.

Cant recommend highly enough, high quality food and great delivery service.

Definitely the best Chinese we have ever had. Not horribly greasy like others. You don't regret it after you've eaten it like others and much more flavour than others.

Ordered for 19.20 arrived at 20.25. Tried calling the takeaway but no answer. The delivery driver was like don't blame me blame the kitchen but then what do expect from underpaid delivery driver's. She was right not her fault. The food was only just warm and substandard. Have ordered from this takeaway many times but this will be our last. Very disappointed in the food and service this time.

Tried this take-away for the first time tonight. Food was delivered when they said it would be, plentiful, well cooked, very tasty and the delivery lady was pleasant and chatty. A very good first time experience and we will definitely use again.

New to the area. Good Chinese food and very fast delivery. The deep fried shredded beef is one of the best I’ve had. Packs a punch and it’s not dry, which I often find. Beef in black bean sauce was not the best I’ve had but was pretty good. Singapore rice and chow mein were great and huge portion sizes. Will order again.

The crispy chicken seemed a bit stale, but the food was still enjoyable overall, the rice was great.

Dont know y we bothered to pick food we wanted , was sent everything wrong , complained and was told they didnt believe us, so we paid for food we didnt like and didnt want , avoid at all costs, were very rude on the phone

Normally really good but today was awful. Rice tasted burnt and no flavour. Chips all dry and fish was not nice . So disappointed

Family takeaway ordered via Just Eat. Whilst three of our family were reasonably happy with their meals mine was inedible. I ordered Beef in Black Bean Sauce, and when it was opened it looked like bits of beef in a thick black substance looking like treacle/crude oil. It was salty and extremely unappetising. A complete and utter waste of money.

Food was uneven in quality. Would recommend special chow men, special fried rice and sweet sour pork balls. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND chicken in black bean sauce.

not that great, this time and it’s usually so good. curry was salty, the noodles were greasy, the spring rolls were awful and the food was lukewarm at best. rang the restaurant and they offered me 20% off my next order. thankfully just eat refunded me in full.

I was down in this Manor seeing my missus from Essex and we were hank marvin! She said to give these guys a gander and bang placed the order! When the grub arrived it was sweet as a nut and proper tasty. Best Chinese I’ve put down me in many a year! If you want a good Chinese, I’d definitely recommend using your digits to blast these guys!!

Terrible, spring rolls were black in side. Never received any sweet and sour sauce with the chicken balls. Chicken balls very thick and doughy inside.

This was a totally unacceptable experience and waste of money! The food came early despite the restaurant stating that the time had been put back. when the food arrive two of the dishes were missing! the chicken curry (which should have come with the chips) and the s&is sauce which should have come wither the chicken balls. when I phoned the restaurant to inform them of this I was met by a rude individual who was adamant that a certain number of items had left the restaurant! it was as if she was accusing me of lying! not nice! She then agreed to send out the items - these arrived 10 minutes after we had finished our meal so, needless to say, we did not want them as we had eaten - not a brilliant meal as the required items were missing! The food wasn't great and the service awful. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, Very disappointed.

chips were scrumps ( over fryer scraps)went in the bin. Duck and pancakes the duck was on the bone and very cooked so half of it went in the bin. Chicken curry was cold/Luke warm at best. Prawn crackers and boiled rice were ok very disappointed

Not great. Pushed our delivery time back 15 minutes, didn’t put in the chopsticks that we asked for, chips were a bit wet and soggy. Main course was fine though - although it gave me and my wife some mental dreams! I’d go somewhere else next time.

Nearly an hour late despite placing the order well in advance. Much of the food was cold, and containers had leaked. Even if the food had arrive on time and was still hot the quality was abysmal. 'Crispy' shredded beef was congealed and chewy. Baked squid (which elsewhere is normally crispy and dry) was slimy and sweet - no hint of salt or chili! Spring rolls were just a mass of bean sprouts. duck was little more than OK. Delivery service was rude and dismissive when asked why they were so late.

dinner was yummy however was warm and not hot, don’t know if that’s due to it being late.

Food is always fantastic but delivery time is getting slower and slower each week! 30 minutes late is too long! We order again as the food is so good but on a Saturday night more delivery staff are probably needed.

The duck was overcooked my kids couldn't chew it, black bean sauce had no taste, rice also was over cooked.

Food had lovely flavour but far too many chillies in the black bean sauce . Never had a Chinese so hot before really spoilt it for me.

delivered slightly early. packaging it was transported looked horrible. Special Curry OK Chicken and Mushroom OK Spring Roll REVOLTING - covered in fat and noodles looked grey just chucked. will collect it from another place next time.

Food was delivered around 30 minutes earlier than estimated on app. Very hot on arrival and very tasty. The chips were obviously re-heated leftovers and weren't really edible! But we were generally pleased with our order and would order from here again if we were in the area again. Thanks.

Noodles were really good very tasty, ribs were well cooked throughout and good. Prawn toast was a little on the colder side but still edible.

Cod tasted bit weird but batter and chips were nice. Would order from them again . Ty for free prawn crackers.

After changeing my delivery time for an extra 15 minutes it was still half hour past the delayed delivery time beef and chicken balls were ok the rice was totally useless prawn crackers were stale and Un edible, the service was bad and basically thown my food no apology from any of them. Don't use them I wont be again.

Really enjoyed our meal, hot and arrived in good time. Food was delicious, I took 1 star off for the spring rolls, they were massive, soggy and looked very unappetising, we didn't eat them, which was a shame as the rest of the meal was lovely.

I ordered from here a few times and they have gone down hill I ordered their curry special with plan rice and my kids had a burger from there and a sausage with chips the burger tasted horrible the chips was horrible like the fat needed cleaning my curry had thick sauce on it and was full off onions don't get me worng I like onions but this was more an onion curry the sauce was like gravy very thick and had food colouring to make the look I didn't enjoy my order at all
