Has to be the worst Sunday roast I've ever seen and didn't eat .ended up going to the chip shop afterwards.ive seen better roast dinners in the 1980's in school .if I would of sat in to see this and not had a takeaway I would of asked for my money back .how on earth you can charge £12:95 is a disgrace. Runny gravy.beef looked processed .vegetables under cooked ,2 potatoes and a stale cold Yorkshire pudding . Total waste of money .
We popped in for a coffee and cake whilst on Saturday visit to Wells. Varied menu and a good selection of cakes, scones and pastries. Cooked breakfast coming out of the kitchen looked delicious and good portions. Coffee nice (not bitter) and hot. Facilities clean and staff very friendly. Will remember this cafe when we next visit Wells.

Avoid this place if you ride a motorcycle. Refused petrol unless we removed crash helmets. The assumption that all motorcyclists are thieves. We shopped elsewhere. Loads of other garages to choose from in the City.
Went here for frome's first comedy club in November. The drinks and food at the bar were reasonably priced. Nice venue and spacious. Hope to see another one there!
Debo decir que he estado en muchos lugares alemanes de kebab donner, pero esto es mucho mejor. La comida era fresca y buena, pero lo principal es que el servicio era muy bueno. Tanu se aseguró de que el servicio estuviera en su punto.
A Tuesday night in January where other pubs in nearby villages are closed it was a joy to find this one open.
A great traditional pub with a nice warm fire, friendly welcome, reasonable drinks, what more do you want?
Deserves to be supported.
Well done!
My daughter had her birthday Party there and it was so lovely.
Very friendly host.
Jordan is simply the best.
The kids enjoyed their food, the pizzas were to die for and they had a swell time.
F-Cooke is sure the best when it comes to hosting people.
Friendly and lovely .
Great place to get a drink - a really characterful building set in a very nice location, it has a south facing garden/patio area next to the River Frome and plenty of seating inside. There are nice beers on tap including a house ale (at the time of visiting) and it's clear that the landlord knows the right type of beers to get. The staff are all very friendly and courteous and as the food is highly recommended by friends who have eaten there it'll be on the menu for another visit.
