Wells Kebab in Mendip

Always decent food and quickly delivered. We are local and will only use these guys when we fancy a takeaway as we know it is consistently good. Would recommend them.

Had the large shish tonight and it was lovely I wish I'd ordered the medium as it was pretty big. Lovely meat cooked perfect great salad and friendly staff Highly recommend

Chips were shoggy reheated about 3 days ago We had shish kebab dry would say not freshly cooked no chilli sauce as ordered. Saturday night had better on a week night! Not good

Went for the first time here. Ordered two meals to take away . My friend and I waiting for food in the takeaway got shouted for laughing with a staff member telling us to. Be quiet as they was working !?? Nobody else in there .... For laughter... Won't ever be going again

The meat was not even cooked the cleanliness of the kebab and to be reviewed and the really deplorable service AVOID especially for people who eat Halal

Ordered food for me and my mate,later in the evening both had extreme stomach pains,woke up next morning feeling ill and unwell

The appearance of the place from the outside may cause concern, but with the warm and friendly welcome of the masters inside, their conversations and of course very delicious food 💯 Master Murat's 🍕 is simply amazing 😋👏👏👏

My sister ordered Pharma ham and mushroom with pineapple added. Ended up with ham, pineapple, green pepper??? With hair throughout pizza as extra topping. Really disappointing as a treat and normally the pizza is fine. In this current climate take away is a huge treat in our household and getting something as disappointing as this is a waste of money.

Messed up my order, items missing, still charged me, said they would sort it next time!

WELLS Holiday (09/10/11-05-23) Used this after a late pint at the 'Rose & Crown' as near to the pub and had a great burger & chips, had a shared pizza the next night and half pounder burger on our last night in Wells, friendly quick service and the only place open for takeaway after 22:00, no complaints fresh cooked and tasty food, going to miss this place:(

Best kebab we've ever had. Ordered mega grill last night, chunky good quality meat, pittas and chips cooked well, salad could do with some red cabbage though. Ordered for collection, we live 15 minutes away and still piping hot when we got home.

Great pizza and burger, online ordering good and ready to pick up in less than 15 minutes. Will be back!

Ordered a chicken donner wrap meal, with white cabbage, onions and mint sauce, 2 mouthful’s and my mouth was burning, absolutely disgusting, had to chuck it away, the best thing about it was the can of coke

What a gem of a place! We had the mega kebab for two of us, it came with pittas, chips and salad. The pittas were perfectly cooked and the salad was super fresh. The meat was fantastic and plentiful, this was possibly one of the best kebabs I have ever had, great quality meat and no grease. I just wish I was in the area longer so I could use them again. We had the meal delivered and it came piping hot in no time at all. Great job Wells Kebab!!

The chips portion sizes vary depending on if you order in store or online. If you order a large in store you get more, compared to if you order online.

Absolutely fabulous food. We were on holiday and found this place for food. Pizza was smashing and their burgers were so tasty. Service was spot on. Just hope wife wants to go up this way again for a holiday because I will be revisiting these guys. Thank you for great aervice

Delivered quickly, hot and delicious... just what you need on a freezing cold winter's night, these guys are good.

Well, delivery is fast. (delivery was not free). Friendly delivery man. Good point. BUT I ordered a big drink -as there was an options to buy this drink diet C.C.- and absolutly did not get the drink what I ordered and paid. I got P. max. I don't understand why doesn't matter what the costumer wanted and paid. If they don't have (and they should know when they prepare in the shop) why not call me to tell me sorry you paid for this but we don't have..would like to another one? Before delivery!!! Not in the door. If the food is here we cannot wait for drink change and delivery again. We wanted to drink and eat. Very annoying! It is like I wanted to buy a hot cup of tea and I get a cold squash...My opinion is that the food is very good. Only the costumer service is need more attention please! Finally we got dressed,put on shoes and went to a shop to buy the drink what we like. Paid again. People want the delivery service is that is you don't have to go out.

Received incorrect order and was blamed for ordering what I did not order. I would not recommend this place. Their recent food quality has dropped significantly and prices have risen substantially. Not worth the money.

Good menu to chose from with plenty of options. Service is fast and good. Obviously at busy times one waits a bit longer, which is only normal. This place does both, take away and local delivery service. The food is really good and tasty. I had a great special burger, 1/2 pounder with kebab meat and cheese.... it was amazing really. Will come back more offer.

At first I was very wary of this place because I don't like greasy kebab food, however I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. We ordered a selection of pizzas and they all tasted delicious and had plenty of toppings on. This is the only place in Wells that does pizza like a certain chain that begins with 'Dom-' (that at the moment doesn't deliver to the Wells area). The pizza is just as good as chain-style pizza, and is very reasonably priced. It also does free delivery to the Wells area if you spend more than £10.00.The only thing we didn't like is the free sauce is more like mayo than a herby sour cream style one, so it doesn't taste as good. Everything else is perfect. Tip: Don't buy through Just Eat as they charge a delivery fee of £3, whereas if you order through the 'Wells Kebab' app or online it is free.

I visited Sunday evening (August bank holiday Weekend) and the few staff who were working were bogged down with telephone orders. I waited 15 mins, no one took my order so I left.... Not exactly fast food!!

Does the best chips in wells, pissed or sober

I've used chubbys three times now. First time the food was reasonable. Second time it was stone cold. Thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again tonight-again, stone cold. I don't see much point in a takeaway/delivery service when you still have to cook the food once you've recieved it. Will never be using this joke of a place again.

The food at chubby's is of decent quality, the staff is quite nice and the prices are affordable. It is quite a nice place to have a takeaway every now and then but strongly recommended not to abuse it. Their chicken is nice although I think their pizzas aren't as good as some of their competitors. The delivery service sometimes take longer than expected but overall a good takeaway shop.

The pizza in Chubby's is worth spending your money on it, also on every Monday you get a pizza deal - 5 pounds for any 10 inches pizza. My personal favorite is Chubby's special pizza, it has delicious toppings for the price you pay for it. However the chicken strips in Chubby's is not as good compare to the rest of their food, it's very expensive for the quantity and the quality. p.s. The free delivery service can take a bit longer than you expect
