Joke of a place not worth your time or money

I have Ordered on the dominos app, still haven't received my order which was placed over an hour ago. I have rang the store several times to check where my order is but NO ONE is answering the phone! This is not the first time this has happened!

Awful service, 30 minutes delayed pizza, rude manager.

I'm only giving on star for each b/c 0 stars isn't an option. The people working at the establishment who i "helped" me with my order tonight, didn't speak English well, nor did they understand well. I went in to order a small pizza with ground beef and black olives. The lady didn't understand that i was asking for regular beef, NOT sausage. Another customer came in butted into the lady employee taking my order. I stood there for a few minutes and the asked if she was going to finish taking my order or help the other lady instead. The other customer had come in with a complaint that she didn't get a large dipping sauce as she had ordered, the employees didn't treat her well. Anyway, i finished my order by asking for salt. I left for about 10 minutes and came back. It was a man this time who helped me. I looked at the pizza and smelled it and got a whiff of sausage spices. I said as much and he tried telling me i didn't know what i was talking about. I went on to ask him if they sold B&J ice cream, or if they were only included as part of a multiple pizza deal. There was a misunderstanding on his part b/c he though i was asking if they "gave away" ice cream. i said, no, i asked if you SOLD it. He then said, yes, they sold it. I picked Strawberry Cheesecake as it's my favorite back home in Alaska. BIG MISTAKE. I got my food to my hotel room at Travelodge right next door, and realized they hadn't included salt. So, i had to walk back down and ask for the packets. The girl seemed put out that i asked for them. I ate some of the pizza - and yes, it was sausage just as i had smelt earlier. And when i opened the ice cream, i got a strong odor of bad cheesecake. In the States, it's NEVER smelled like that. I decided to try a bite anyway. BIG BIG MISTAKE!! I couldn't even swallow the first bite! i had to spit it out, and rinse my mouth out repeatedly till the horrible taste was gone! Also, the hygiene of the employees was poor. Several of the men had beards, which should have been covered, as their hair should have been too. None of the employees wore latex or some other kind of gloves. The main experience that i had that has made me decide i won't ever eat at the Glastonbury Domino's Pizza isn't the poor hygeine, nor the poor servie, but rather that they SOLD ME SPOILED ICE CREAM!!! i don't recommed this restaurant to anyone!! Get your B&J ice cream from one of the stores - i was shocked though, when I tried to shop at Morrison's & found they closed at 3pm (it's Sunday today) and then that Tesco had closed at 4pm.

Not many customers as mid afternoon, service was good order was cooked while I waited, quick and efficient service. Very enjoyable meal. Happy to recommend

Ordered several pizzas for a birthday party. It was ready in time for the collection. Staff was friendly. Pizza was tasty but still too salty. I think it is in the Domino's recipe. I hope someone will notice eventually and will change to a healthier and even tastier recipe with less salt.

absolutely shocking customer service they missed one of our side orders then made us wait for the side to be cooked while our pizzas were going cold. Then asked to use the bathroom, was met with ‘no tescos is still open, ours are closed’ if i could give you 0 i would, shocking

One of the worst Domino's, after one hour of waiting i called them to find out where my order was and was told that they had been busy(which is fair enough)and told that it was leaving straight away, nearly 40 mins later it arrives like warm, I live no more than 5min drive away from the shop. Not good enough Domino's, I won't be back. 🤬

Wont take cash payments so was left without food. Bad service will not use again

The pizza and their sides and desserts are amazing. The staff are friendly however sometimes the pizza quality isn’t amazing but this is rare.

First time got told they no longer do collections, delivery only. Went in to see if they could waive that rule as one off got told never been a rule obviously first guy didn't want to work. Obviously ordered and entire family came down with food poisoning.. I'd avoid this shop.

Food in quality check for 20 minutes,then having to wait for a further 35 minutes for delivery,when food arrived it needed heating again,which we shouldn't have to do. But hey at least the ice cream was still frozen,work that one out.

Placed order at 12:45 after waiting 90 + min for delivery I called. Was promised the driver was in route and if there was a problem the driver would call. Waited another 20 min still no delivery. So I called again and was promised the driver was in route and would call if there was any problem. At 2:50 and still no delivery I called a 3rd time to be told that the driver tried to deliver but there was no answer. We were sitting on the front porch waiting with cellphones in hand. No one came to the door, no one called. Driver went to the wrong house and didn't even try to call. Absolutely terrible service and behavior. Will never order again.

My partner and I are staying in the Travelodge that is next door to the shop and the staff there is super nice and even though they were busy they stayed attentive to us and took our order swiftly. We got one pepperoni and one pepperoni w/pineapple and when we ordered the lovely lady told us that that’s her favorite and my partner found a fellow pineapple on pizza lover 😂 (unlike myself). While we were ordering we heard the staff giving each other props for handling over 100 orders and it was nice to see people getting along and appreciating each others hard work, now don’t get me wrong this place was busy! But the staff handled it with ease and we loved the energy they gave. Our food was ready in 20ish minutes and everything was delicious! Definitely will be ordering again!!

Pizza was delicious. The only issue was I had to wait over 20 minutes for pizza when I saw there were not many pizzas coming through the oven. I've been told that will be over 20 minutes wait but I thought I could be served earlier when I was in rush and it was not too busy.

Went into the branch in Glastonbury. Were the only people in there. Completely ignored for five minutes. I asked the guy if they were open, and he said yes. Suggested they don’t ignore customers when they rock up and left. Papa Johns friendly and attentive.

Absolutely shocking service. Ordered pizzas to get collected. On arrival, I was told (unapologetically) that they would be ‘another 20 minutes as there were only three people working’. Staff were rude, obnoxious and had no understanding of customer satisfaction.

I am absolutely disgusted! I ordered a gluten free pizza and 7 chicken wings (which is stated online only allergen contained is milk) we go and collect the order get into the car and they have given me chicken strippers which is far from gluten free! I am an coeliac and can end up in hospital when I have gluten. We go back into store to get my original order and the women behind the counter basically say’s ‘what do you want me to do about it’ we ask for my original order and they say they have sold out. I am absolutely fuming that they gave an allergic person something they couldn’t eat and couldn’t do anything about it. It’s just like giving someone a bag of nuts when they are allergic to them!

Nice pizza, but it's an absolutely disgusting trying to make me pay extra for a bbq dip for my bbq chicken wings that i paid £6.99 for.... Sort it out! It's pennys to a company like yours!

Nice pizza, I wish we could see it being made live on a Web cam from the app would be good. I'm alway nervous about Spit when it's one race serving another,I'm not racist I've a mixed raced kid. I noticed most workers were eastern in origin which set my gagg reflexes off. Lovely pizza but no more.

In my opinion terrible customer service tried to order online and my order didn’t go through so I phoned and they said “it’s not their problem” and then I come into the store with cash however they don’t accept cash but they told me their card machines aren’t working even though there is delivery drivers walking in and out of the store with food and then I can’t help but overhear a conversation of a staff member saying “hell this is dominos pizza where we won’t help”

Ordered pizza using app. Was told pizzas would be ready in 12 to 17 minutes. Requested updates on progress of food via app.. App told me food was ready. On asking server for my order, was told they were starting to prepare my order and in fact my food was not ready, or even started. waited for a further 45 mins for my food. Sat and waited with another person who had also ordered food via the app and there's wasn't ready either, while this was enjoyable, I do not feel the service I received was satisfactory. Food was finally ready and tasted great..... Just took such a long time to prepare/collect!

After 40 min I have called the restaurant and the order is not even ready for delivery. It will take another 20 minutes.

The pizzas were nice but they hadn't even started to be cooked at the time they were pre ordered for.

Every time I order here no matter how simple I make the order there is always a problem. Either it's just awful quality or it simply doesn't arrive or if it does arrive half of the order is missing. I am told they are very busy....every time. Don't waste your time or money

I wouldn't even rate this junk I didnt feel well so I thought I'd order wedges chicken wings ice cream and coke I waited a life time for it to arrive then I had to go find the driver because he kept hanging up finding him now where near my place I had to carry back 3 boxes 2 cooked and ice cream phone and torch The chicken and wedges were inedible freezing cold greasy went straight in the bin I've been trying to call them for ages no reply complete waste of money

Don’t ever get from here if your hungry and don’t want customer satisfaction

It was a winter Tuesdays eve, the wind blew in briskly from the west and I had a wee hankering for a pungent and aromatic pizza... Well I say that when I actually wanted three as I was winding down from an intense Christmas with all the in-laws. YES all the in-laws. Not to say I don't appreciate my wife but damn are her parents can be a drag; as in having a desperate need for a stack of three saucy dominos pizzas, and yes I do mean need (DON'T JUDGE ME FOR MY CONDITION!!!! ). Something that would never cease a desire, hankering, addiction or otherwise is ordering three pizzas on the app [with the appropriate amount of time for manufacture] and them exceeding 8 minutes beyond the scheduled time of departure from the restaurant in my now famished arms. Not even an attempt at an apology from any member of the staff.... Not only that... Not only that !!…. NOT ONLY THAT !!!!!!!!!!!!! Almost the entire order was flarving wrong!!! And when one utilises the term almost, one does indeed mean that the Pizza size and sauce was correct. All of a sudden my absolute grip on reality was brought into question: tandoori hot became spiced chicken, Pepperoni became pineapple {#PINEAPPLE RESIST} and Mexican hot became a vast variety of chickpeas and other fruits, who puts a whole guava on a pizza. Anyway, at this point in the review I would like to suggest a quality alternative to tis shambles to get over a in-law filled Christmas. Luckily I come with hearty Christmas tidings of the knights fish and chip shop in the centre of Glastonbury centre which will outcompete all other establishments within the region. Try the cod there, it is to die for, unlike in-laws.

Ordered a takeaway for a family night in. Order was missing a pizza. The delivery driver was more than useless. Will never be using them again. After ringing for 20 minutes finally got through to the manager of the store who would only offer to get the pizza out in the next delivery. Terrible service. Customer care training has obviously gone out the window

Ordered nearly £20 worth of food on Saturday the 4th Dec, after 2 hours gave them a ring. They said they were having trouble with deliveries,after another hour I tried calling again.Someone picked up the phone and put it down straight away.my order never got delivered. They had my email address and phone number,but never contacted me with any explanation or apology.would not recommend the on-line service for quick service.

Don’t order for delivery! Should have known better than to make the same mistake twice. Ordered online for delivery back in September, took 2 hours to be delivered and when I did get it, it was stone cold. Did get a refund through the online complaint system. Hoped this was a one off and re ordered tonight but still it’s exactly the same and now it’s too late to get anything else. Don’t order if you’re in a hurry or want hot food!!

Took 50mins from order to prep tho delivery was ment to be 20-30 mins on app. How long till it will be delivered I'm guessing another 40. What a joke don't think the kids that run the shop know what they are doing. If you want pizza go across the road and to tesco and cook at home will be so much quicker AVOID THIS PLACE

This would be 0 stars if it were allowed. I ordered a pizza with vegan cheese and pepperoni. They took the money and gave me a time, it even showed up on the screen as being cooked. Then 30 minutes later when it was supposed to be done they turnt around and told me they aren't allowed to mix the vegan cheese and pepperoni on the pizza which doesn't make any sense. They say on their menu you can make your own pizza apparently that doesn't apply to lactose free people. Now having to wait for them to call me to give me a refund because head office or their boss wouldn't answer the phone. Absolutely fuming.

Ordered a pizza and 2 sides for delivery via the app on a Thursday evening at 7pm. Read the reviews about the poor delivery service but still went ahead and ordered. After almost 2 hours of waiting and many phone calls, managed to get through and they said that our order had been cancelled due to not having enough drivers. They then asked if we wanted it remaking and we said yes and will pick it up. They also promised a refund over the phone. Got there and had to ask again for them to be re made as they hadn’t even started the pizzas. Eventually after a bit of a wait they were made and were actually quite nice. Was promised a refund and that was received today. I just don’t know why they take orders via the app when they know they can’t be delivered and then just cancel them and not tell you. Clearly something a miss there! The GM clearly doesn’t read the reviews of his/her own dominoes!

2nd week running 1.5.hr wait.... Last time stone cold pizza after 2 calls to ask where the hell my food was..... Tonight.... Long wait yet again.... To have half the order turn up... The pizza has never been great, always swimming in pools of grease and some of the delivery drivers have been rude. On this occasion I wasn't able to cook and so needed something delivered. The website said delivery would be within 30 minutes. After 60 minutes I googled there number and that's when I saw the reviews saying that deliveries were taking over 2 hours. I called the shop three times, it rang out twice and got picked up and put down immediately one. After 2 hours I decided to call it and drove to the shop to cancel the order. The shop wasn't busy and the staff member was non apologetic about the situation. I was told I would have to wait 3-5 days for the refund to be made. All in all a it was very poor customer service and I will not be going there again. (Better for my health anyway)

Ordered a dominos on their app, paid online only to have no pizzas or cookies arrive nearly 2 hours after we placed the order. We rang them 3 times once with no answer, the second to be told it's out for delivery and the third time to be told it's out for delivery again, we explained that we had now been waiting over an hour for delivery and an hour and half for our food, to be told by the lady on the end of the phone well it's not here so it must be out for delivery, we said that it would be cold by the time it's delivered, the lady replied with if it's cold you will have to ring us tomorrow and then before hanging the phone up we heard her laughing. Nearly 2 hours after placing our order we had to drive to dominos and go in store to complain to be given our food which was cold. I am absolutely disgusted with the customer service and quality of food, will not be ordering from there again!!

Absolutely appalling. My friends and I are currently waiting on our delivery, it has been two hours since the Dominos app said they were out for delivery. Upon calling the restaurant we were firstly told 1 hour into our wait to be patient, second time we were insulted by the lady on the phone who suggested nothing can be done with 5 missing pizzas that are most likely still in one of the delivery cars, lastly just a few moments ago whilst on our third call the same lady picked up left us on hold for about 5 minutes before disregarding the issue once more and rudely hanging up whilst I was mid-sentence. Totally unprofessional behaviour and a sign of ultimate carelessness when it comes to the clients concerns. Would NEVER recommend this specific restaurant to anyone, not even my neighbour Jessica who kicked my cat a year ago.

Have been waiting for my pizza delivery for over 2 hours now. The app has said that the pizza has been delivered for about an hour and a half however I still did not have my pizza. Have called dominos three times to ask about my pizza and was told that my pizza was out for delivery, however I did not receive my pizza for more than an hour after. So much for ‘fast food’

We ordered pizza from them at 8:25pm and were still waiting for the pizza at 10pm despite the fact that they told us around 37 minutes , when we decided to call them to ask when the pizza would be ready the operator took a very long time to answer the phone and when they answered we asked when would it be here and the operator replied with “it is with the delivery driver” without asking for name or order number. Eventually when the pizzas arrived they were luke-warm. Overall a very poor effort from Domino’s Glastonbury

Tonight I ordered a pizza at 8:30 PM. Waited patiently and then called at 9:30 to see how long the driver would take. They said it would be here shortly. Then called at 10:30 and they said that would refund us for the order and reassured us that the pizza would still arrive shortly. Then called at 11:30 to find out they canceled our order… But then actually lied and said they put it on our doorstep. We checked every 30 minutes since 8:30 when we ordered our pizza and no pizza was there. We waited for three hours to be lied to and disrespected by an employee on the phone and NO pizza. Super unorganized and unprofessional business AND staff. 0 stars.

I was waiting to see if I received a reply from Domino's before leaving negative feedback, but I heard nothing after completing an online complaints form over a month ago. Domino's used to be my favourite pizza place, sometimes a couple of toppings or dips would be wrong but the taste was so good it made up for it! Sadly the standards have got worse and worse until the last time we got pizza delivered. They were late and not piping hot which I could have overlooked, but the pizzas were completely messed up. The toppings had all slid off mine and it looked a mess, and the other pizza had nearly all the toppings wrong. I want to get Domino's again but I won't until they sort themselves out. Please get better Domino's because your pizza is delicious, but the way things are I wouldn't feed it to a dog!

Don’t customise your pizza unless you want them to mess it up. I ordered pepperoni with peppers and my pizza arrived with no peppers,not being funny but -domino’s you should really call your customer to let them know you don’t have any,cuz I had to...

I've been waiting well over an hour for my order. Tracker said it has been delivered when it hasn't. Had to call the store, all they said was that it was out for delivery... If you decide to use this service I would suggest you collect, delivery service is very poor.

Waited an hour for delivery, even though the app said it was on its way after 30mins. I tried to call the store but no-one answered and it just kept ringing, gave up after 10 mins. Food was cold when it did arrive too. Such a shame as was supposed to be a treat for the family.

Have ordered regularly from the Glastonbury branch and service has always been fast and efficient. It is a shame won't be ordering here anymore due to moving away. Edit.... Have upped my rating has have had the opportunity to continue using this facility, since moving, when in the area using click and collect. The pizza's are fantastic as usual and staff very friendly. Last time I ordered I couldn't even get a set pick up time, only option was 10-15 mins before. This time I put in an order around lunchtime, pick up at 1900. Walk in at 1905 to be told they haven't even started my order, which was #1 on the list and I have to wait 15-20 minutes! No apologies whatsoever... Thanks a lot. Thought the staff were extremely rude and unorganised! Walked in and got thrown out then Waited outside for 10 mins and the Womman proceeded to call me to tell me my food was ready and then gave me the wrong order... considering there were like 10/15 staff was honestly disgraceful.

Not great delivery service. App wasn’t working and saying my pizza was delivered straight after I ordered it... Waited over an hour... called to check up and was met with a hostile man on the end of the phone who then slammed the phone down on me when I was really friendly and just asking for an update. When it finally was delivered 40 minutes later I had a rude delivery driver because I let them know the app didn’t work. I was super polite about it and then I had to wait for my pizza to actually cook in the oven because it was stone cold when it arrived. For only a small pizza with one topping, 1 side and a bottle of water I didn’t really expect to be shouted out, waiting over an hour and given cold food. First and last time ordering here

My partner ordered online ready for me to collect straight from work. I arrived and waited outside as they have a sensible 1 in 1 out system in place. A girl looked for my order and couldn't find it. She asked me my name again and wondered off to look. The next thing I know she's stood making pizzas again.. no return to tell me anything just left me stood there.. the queue outside is now four deep and growing. I had to stop a lad after he took a call to ask him where my order was and he went straight to the girl who shrugged her shoulders and carried on. He then apologised to me and said he would have to remake my order. I asked him if he would throw in some choco orange cookies as a way of apology to which he agreed. Ten minutes later I got back in my car with our full order plus cookies. The young lad was the branch manager and he dealt with the issue in a respectable way and stayed professional even though they were clearly over run with orders. I did hear that one of the deliveries had gone to the completely wrong address too and saw him handle that issue promptly. Overall a good service although management probably don't get the recognition they deserve under all the pressure. 4 stars as the food itself was as usual very good

Food is great (albeit part of order missing and an ingredient was on the pizza that we didn't put on) but terrible customer service as when I rang the store no one even answered the phone and it dialled for several minutes/delivery times quite late compared to tracker app.

Ordered 3 pizzas at 7:30 on the app and was given a 51-60 minute wait. I actually waited 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was told on the phone that there was nothing that could be done (I didn’t get a refund) and when they...

No complaints about the food, but poor time keeping and bad communication let them down.

Hit & miss with the condiments. Sometimes there was only condiments in the middle and sometimes its fully covered with lots of yummy ingredients. No consistency hence its only 3 stars otherwise pizza is delish and service is good.

Twice I have had dry, tasteless pizzas. The advertisements promise delicious pizzas but the reality is very different. The toppings are so skimpy you can see the dough base through them. What a waste of money.
