The Pizza Shack in Mendip

Popped in for a couple of pizzas and drinks - lovely staff serving homemade pizzas. Best we've had for years. Mainly take-away trade but they have a few tables. Look forward to going back soon.

10/10 would recommend. Great service and amazing pizza! Will definitely eat here again when/if we go back to Dover. We got a delicious pizza takeaway and ate it by the seaside. It was the cherry on top of an awesome trip to Dover.

Cute little place, excellent pizza and excellent service. Take out style restaurants, but few tables and nice to sit with friends. Good vibes.

One of the best pizzas we've ever had. We had the pepperoni and the crust was perfect. We talked to the owner and his mom, both delightful. The dough is handmade and proofed at least 3 days, then hand stretched and thrown, and you can really tell the difference. The Gallo house red wine is perfect with it. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Excellent taste. Excellent place to eat. Feels like you are at home lying on your couch with a yummy neapolitan pizza by your side! I definitely recommend this place for a great pizza !

The best garlic bread I have ever eaten, was absolutely incredible. We also went for a margarita and a ‘hells bells’ which was so delicious the crusts didn’t even need a dip. We didn’t leave a single crumb it was so good. The staff were so friendly and helpful with choosing a pizza too. Sad i live 8 hours from Dover and it was just a short visit to the town otherwise we would be making visits to this place on the regular 😭❤️

Took a punt and ordered a couple of pizzas a few weeks ago and was blown away. Some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. Can’t fault them at all. The quality and flavour are second to none. Well worth the money. Must have ordered 20 or 30 pizzas now. I won’t be stopping ordering any time soon that’s for sure! I’d recommend Pizza Shack to anyone that will listen

Pizza shack is what this town has needed for a long time, gorgeous authentic Neapolitan pizza cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients. Can’t recommend enough!

Amazing pizza. This is proper pizza with quality ingredients prepared with care, rather than the mass produced stuff you get elsewhere. I wish we lived closer so we could go more often. All four of us loved it. Friendly, casual atmosphere. Next time I would get fewer toppings so I can better enjoy the amazing dough.

Lovely pizza meal tonight. Smoked butter garlic bread was delicious ! Service is GREAT and a nice selection of local ale/ beer etc. Perfect quick supper , fast service and family friendly too.

My sister and I throughly enjoyed our experience at the Pizza Shack. The pizza was awesome and the co-owners were delightful. Chef Damian Smith has created a wide variety of pizzas with interesting combinations of ingredients. We will be back!
