Service was awful. You can tell by the way they act that they treat their staff with little respect. Completely rude and ignorant. Do not come here unless you want an unpleasant experience

Great food but slow delivery, recently around an hour late the past few times.

Lovely spot on the seafront with great views of the cliffs. Reasonably priced (coming from somebody who thinks everything is expensive in 2024!) and really tasty food. I had the halloumi flatbread and all the ingredients were lovely and fresh and it was cooked really nicely. Service was friendly and prompt. Will definitely come again 👍

I have responded to the experience questions despite a non visit. My message is based on the fact I was ultimately unable to enjoy the products from my online order, as I appear to be excluded from delivery listings due to the fact I live on a Scottish Island. Another visit here, and it just can't get any better!! Run by lovely people and in a gorgeous location, staying a bit longer this time, so we explored the local area- food at the yellow deli is a must!!

What a fantastic pub, cosy atmosphere and the most delicious food. Staff were so friendly and the food was the best I have tasted in a long time. Fish of the day was outstanding and cooked to perfection. My friend had the pork belly which was equally as good and very tasty. Generous portion sizes. Their homemade chocolate brownie was out of this world. I will definitely be back. Good value for money too. The pub itself has so much going on.

A super little cafe with a wide menu and very friendly staff. The tram station is picture perfect and always looks lovely whenever we visit. Recommended.

Visit here all the time, it's our go to place for lunch in Sidmouth. The two ladies and gent that work in here are never short of a laugh, welcoming and easy to talk to. Prices are extremely reasonable we think for the portion sizes we get and choice of salads and filling nicely presented. Large salad boll was rambled. Lovely. It is tucked down a side alley, so be sure to visit.

Gingerbread house cafe is a lovely local coffee/breakfast/lunch spot on the high st, just up from the beach. I recently ordered a cream tea for two box to be delivered to my mother for her birthday as I live far away. She loved it, it was fresh and delicious and included sandwiches, scones, clotted cream and all the fixings, and she couldn’t have been happier to be surprised on her birthday with a friendly face and a special delivery. They are also very active in the community and offered free lunches for school kids during Covid. A great cafe!

Wouldn't recommend to anyone. A women who im presuming is the owner or associated with the owner first slammed the door in my face while i was about to walk through it, this was for no reason other then i’m presuming i hadn’t walked into the building fast enough for her liking. Once she was inside and near the table where me and my friends were sat she continue to start an argument because there was currently only one drink on the table (we had drank the rest prior) insinuating we couldn’t be there if we hadn’t bought anything. She then continued to say we were being antisocial despite the fact she had just walked through the door for the first time since we had got there and no one had mentioned anything to us or had any complaints towards us because we were sat in the corner minding our business. I do believe this is based on age and appearance regarding the antisocial comment and us being the only younger ones in there, (there are also many other reviews specifically from younger adults saying how rude and unwelcoming she has been to them as-well). Then finally she told us to get out which we did because it would have escalated.

First visit, having been recommended by a family member. We were not disappointed. Enjoyed a lovely butternut squash soup with cheese toastie. Delicious and reasonably priced. Also enjoyed a wonderful flat white coffee. We were visiting for the day from Dorset and will definitely be back.

Family and friends night out. Lovely food , and well looked after, in fact excellent service. For a midweek night the restaurant was exceptionally busy, but this seemed to add to the atmosphere.

We have just had breakfast and it was very good value for money very well presented and great quality definitely value for money.

Well, had to pop into the bakery for a hot pasty, nothing compares to a LARGE cornish pasty, straight from the oven and it was gorgeous, even bought a couple to take back home to Wales,lol. The smells are fabulous and all through the town the scent of baking hits you, not cheap though at £4.55 for a large pastie but so tasty.

My friend and i have dinners on Sundays when i visit Seaton. Choise of two roasts. Can be Beef, Chicken, Pork and Lamb. Excellent value for money. Gets very busy so would suggest arriving from 12pm and not later.
