I love pasties and go daft on them when I’m in the South west. I came to Honiton as I knew they had a Warrens bakery (please see my other review) which I’d good memories of. Having got my supplies from them I spotted this shop on the high st on my way back to the car. Seduced in as I always am by baked goods I saw they did a “Devon pasty”. It looked good enough to get one to try despite my previous Warrens purchases. And I am so glad I did ! I must have tried 15 different bakeries in the 2 weeks I was in the area and this pasty was hands down the best of them all. In fact nothing came close. It had a generous mixed filling, well seasoned and a pastry that was in the right proportion to the filling. Please take a bow…..I’ll be back 😋

Well, had to pop into the bakery for a hot pasty, nothing compares to a LARGE cornish pasty, straight from the oven and it was gorgeous, even bought a couple to take back home to Wales, lol. The smells are fabulous and all through the town the scent of baking hits you, not cheap though at £4.55 for a large pastie but so tasty.

We celebrated our daughter's 5th birthday party today at Amazing Grazing. It was incredible- marquee set up with tables; smaller marquee with tuff trays of games; whole paddock with tonnes of activities from building to tyre rolling to a miniature flower shop; goat, pig and alpaca supervised feeding. Superb from start to finish. Fantastic value for money and Taro was so helpful right from booking to the day itself making sure it was the best experience for our little girl and her friends.

We visited this pub for a Sunday lunch it was very noisy music was far to loud . I had what was supposed to be roast pork but the meat was brown which still had string on it . Usually pork is white . Hence I didn't even touch it . Just had a plate of veg my husband ordered a lager top which normally is lager with a top of lemonade but his was done with blackcurrant instead . Definitely won't be returning couldn't wait to get out of there

3 of us popped in on our way home to West Sussex. Oh my goodness......all three of us wholeheartedly agreed that it was the best cream tea we have ever tasted. Thank you so much for accommodating us, not long before closing. Garden is beautiful, sat in the sunshine to enjoy our warm scones with jam & cream. Tea was plentiful, service fabulous. If we could give 10 stars ...we would. thank you so much

Popped in for a coffee and a bite to eat on Monday.Had a very nice coffee and a fabulous cake, but was utterly shocked at their dog policy in the cafe.On the very next table to us was a couple who put their dog on their lap while there was food on the table, and twice the dog tried to go for it,eventually giving up and resting his head and paws on the table. Not one of the FOUR members of staff in the canteen area said a thing.Awful dribbling on a lunch table

My friend and i have dinners on Sundays when i visit Seaton. Choise of two roasts. Can be Beef, Chicken, Pork and Lamb. Excellent value for money. Gets very busy so would suggest arriving from 12pm and not later.

Delicious fresh pizza, and offer home delivery, but quite expensive. The make your own is quite good value. Usually quick delivery. Quite traditional, thin crust, nice tomato sauce and not swimming in oily cheese. Just the right balance

The food at The Butchers Block is fresh, yummy and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend! There is a wide variety to chose from including vegetarian options and healthier options too.

Basically, an open-air eatery linked to a shop selling fishing gear. Fishing boats moored nearby. ideal for a pre-fishing trip snack. Food was only average.

Came in with a friend for breakfast and it was lovely. Great service, friendly staff and would definitely return. There was a very rude customer who complained about their food and then accused Ellis of not apologising, and then accusing him of having a go at the customer. Neither being remotely true and I can honestly say that my table, and other customers in the cafe can say its not true. All was handled incredibly well and I no where deserves that treatment from the member of public. Definitely won't deter me going in and, if anything, makes me want to support this business more!

Azura's menu is not extensive, but the food is better for it, and excellent value for money. Everything was freshly prepared, tasty, and served with a smile. I was so pleased to have found my favourite, clams, served the way I remember loving in Portugal, washed down by a nice glass of vinho branco. I was surprised the restaurant was so empty on the Friday nigh - perhaps the good folks of Axminster have not yet cottoned onto the fact they've got such a nice place on their doorstep. Don't leave it too late, it would be a shame if it had to close!

I went to the coffee cupping experience and really enjoyed it. Tried 8 different coffees and given a choice of one to take home included in the price. Dan was great. Well informed and modest so didn’t make anyone feel out of place. Coffee was high quality and lovely and the company is working hard to ensure the beans are ethically sourced and packaged. A great place to pick up a take away coffee and some pretty amazing looking cake! And an added bonus of the Lyme bay winery opposite.
