There is plenty of Italian food to choose from in a spacious restaurant. It is convenient to the station and the Coop car park is nearby. Food is good with tasty and substantial desserts. Good choice for anyone who appreciates Italian style food

Went for an off the cuff meal out with family, lovely staff, great food, fantastic atmosphere, Wife particularly enjoyed the free limoncello after meal🤭 Wonderful to see (I assume) family & friends outside speaking Italian & enjoying some Al fresco, a little bit of Italy 🇮🇹 in Axminster. A quiet town & this place was full from early on a Tuesday, surely speaks volumes. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in area👍

Helemaal ok deze dit druk bezocht Italiaans restaurant in het centrum van Axminster. Aangenaam zitten, vlotte bediening en zeer smakelijke gerechten, die vrij authentiek zijn.

Went for an evening meal & was not disappointed. I had the pollo alla valdostana & my wife had the cassarecce al salmone. Both were fantastic! Didn’t really need a side dish but we shared nduja new potatoes which were also great. The staff were lovely & the place had a nice atmosphere. We were on holiday & my only regret is that this place is not local to me.

This is a great restaurant with super friendly staff and excellent food. I love it and have been 5 times. Take no notice of the review from the person who complained about the salmon, asparagus, pea and macaroons pasta. Its delicious and anybody with taste buds can taste all that it claims to be!

Wow! One of the absolute best Italian restaurants I've been to in a long, long time. Fabulous service; friendly, efficient and charming. Mouthwatering food. We were a party of eight, and each had something different. My tagliatelle was divine! The restaurant has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, with a warm, cozy feel. Perfect for a wet, chilly February evening. We will return.

Our first visit to Belluno. We were in Axminster and went in for a midweek lunch as the restaurant looked inviting. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is spacious and comfortably furnished. Service was quick and professional. I had Culurgiones dumplings and my partner had Pistachio mortadella pizza. The dumplings were delicious and so was the pizza (light and crispy base with generous amount of toppings). We also had a dessert and coffee which were equally good. We both thought it was the best Italian meal we had eaten in years. We certainly intend to visit again soon.

We have dined here several times and never been disappointed so were looking forward to an excellent Christmas lunch. Did it live up to expectations???? No….they SURPASSED OUR EXPECTATIONS IN EVERY WAY. The staff were as welcoming and attentive as usual but….oh my goodness, the meal was simply amazing. Clearly a lot of thought had gone into planning the menu. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. Service wasn’t rushed so we had time just to enjoy everything. We were delightfully surprised to find we had spent over 2 hours eating, drinking and chatting to neighbouring guests….sheer heaven 😁. We look forward to booking for next Christmas. Well done and congratulations to all concerned.

My friend and I went to Bellino for a Birthday lunch on a very wet day so only a few other diners. We were made to feel welcome when we arrived and service was friendly and efficient all through the meal. In some other restaurants we have sometimes found that when there are only a few diners service can be either over attentive or almost non existent. As it was a special occasion we went a la carte. We shared a crisp and tasty Calamari starter. For mains it was Linguine Pescatore with 6 mussels and lots of prawns for me. Ravioli Granchio for my friend, not a large portion and priced at £7 more than any other pasta dish a bit pricey. Both dishes cooked perfectly and very tasty. For desert I had the Tiramisu and my friend the Affogato, both excellent. Our first visit to this restaurant and we will definitely be going back.

This was our second visit, and once again, they excelled themselves. Top quality Italian food in really comfortable surroundings. There were 4 of us and we all chose a different meal from the menu and all of us were impressed. The staff were really polite and cheerful which goes a long way. We live locally and are already looking forward to our next night out there. Well done all.

Staying in Hawkchurch and looking for a nice place to eat. This was recommended and we were not disappointed. Three had the seafood risotto and I had the two course set meal.. Absolutely fantastic meal, authentic, delicious and very reasonable. Big shout out to the girl who looked after us…Absolute asset to the business, never seen anyone smile as much and that is extremely rare in restaurants at the moment. Absolutely recommend the place and the authentic complimentary Limoncello to finish was a welcome addition to the meal. Try this place out, you won’t be disappointed

We decided to visit this fairly new restaurant in Axminster, as we both love Italian food. Had a nice warm welcome from the waitress, bottled tap water was bought out along with a glass of pinot for me, and a glass of coke for hubby. For starters I had the bruschetta, which was presented well and tasted great. My hubby had the king prawn chilli starter, which he also enjoyed. The waiting staff were attentive, and cleared plated and took our mains orders. I went for spaghetti carbonara, and hubby chose lasagne, with a side of chips. The food arrived piping hot and both dishes were on point, and very tasty. The portion size was just right. We decided to have a dessert as well.. I ordered dropped pavlova, and hubby had tiramisu. both tasted great. oh and I also thought I best try a cocktail, so had a porn-star martini.. again very good, and you could taste the alcohol in it. We finished off with a cappuccino which again was nice. The bill came to £96.70. It may be a good idea, to either have the cutlery there for a starter, or bring out the cutlery with the starter, as we only had one knife and fork each. We did however feel that it was just a tiny bit pricy, based on location. In summary a great place to eat, nice decor, great vibe, good waiting staff, lovely food, great addition to Axminster.

We had a lovely mid week meal at this new Italian in Axminster. Portion sizes were good and we actually had to take some food home with us. The evening was quite expensive for Axminster, but as a treat every so often, very good place to visit. We shall definitely go back. Pizzas were exceptionally good.

I normally only post positive reviews, believing it is best to take things up with the restaurant if there are concerns. I did raise concerns with two members of staff, but was not dealt with as I expected, hence this posting. There were pluses and minuses. On the plus side our waitress kindly offered to find us an alternative table as the large party near us contained some very noisy children and the starter was very enjoyable. We were disappointed with our main courses. One pasta dish was described as containing smoked salmon, pea, asparagus, spinach, leaves, mascarpone and herbs. When it arrived there was just pasta, salmon and a sauce with no discernible traces of the aforementioned. I asked about the other ingredients and was told they were blended into the sauce. I said that the menu did not mention a sauce and that it was, in my opinion, misleading. I made the same comment at the end when the inevitable, "How was your meal?" question was put. I was not offered a reduction before I paid, even though I had expressed concerns twice, but was told after paying that there might be a reduction next time. I politely thanked them but that I doubted there would be a next time.

The name of the restaurant is Belluno in Axminster. The menu id varied with something for everyone. We were shown to out table with menus, swiftly followed by our drinks order. Drinks came and our food was ordered. Water offered at the table. Food was delicious and hot, our waitress Maddie was delightful and service with a smile. Price very reasonable for the good quality, would recommend.

Lovely meal on a Saturday in November. A warm dry space out of the cold. On the first floor looking down on the main street, good for people watching. We had fish and chips, freshly cooked, katsu curry and the special of monkfish in a lobster sauce, all delicious. One bailies cheesecake. Recommend a visit. Patient service

Gingerbread house cafe is a lovely local coffee/breakfast/lunch spot on the high st, just up from the beach. I recently ordered a cream tea for two box to be delivered to my mother for her birthday as I live far away. She loved it, it was fresh and delicious and included sandwiches, scones, clotted cream and all the fixings, and she couldn’t have been happier to be surprised on her birthday with a friendly face and a special delivery. They are also very active in the community and offered free lunches for school kids during Covid. A great cafe!

We had to try the new Sunday lunch menu and we were not disappointed. Roast beef served with roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, cheesy leeks and a proper Yorkshire - not one of those rock hard crispy things restaurants often serve. Followed up with the best freshly cooked Blueberry Bakewell and cream. The staff were friendly and attentive. Thanks very much
