The large garden at the back makes this a good venue to bring children. Nice drinks and cakes. Laid back atmosphere.

We had the really tasty Sausage and Veggie Boston muffins in this lovely place on the Honiton high street. We’ve been here many times before and we’ll come many times again. Excellent food and service with genuine smiles.

Food was fantastic as always the staff are friendly and attentive and create a cozy welcoming atmosphere

Stopped in to grab a breakfast whilst visiting family locally. Had the choice between a breakfast at a nearby chain hotel all you can eat affair, a number of very nice cosy local highstreet breakfast cafes or the Boston Tea Party. Having now experienced the superb friendly staff welcome, option to sit in a number of places in this large well decorated comfy cosy cafe and outstanding grub the decision to opt for this cafe was a no brainer. We enjoyed the Smoked Salmon, Scrambled Eggs and Avocado on toast with a side of the Homemade Hashbrowns… couldn’t fault it! We will be back and we will try more of the menu and without any doubt we won’t go near a Premier Inn breakfast with this establishment so nearby!

This was a lovely place, great service from Sarah, she was very kind, bubbly and lovely to chat with. Everyone was so polite and the food and drinks were spot on. Definitely recommend to friends and family!

BTP is always fab and this one is no exception. Great for allergens, and we were a group of 7 which was no problem! Also we got 25 hash browns between 7 and every single one of them was incredible.

Had a great brunch that revived all 7 of us after a wedding the night before. Staff were lovely and helpful, especially with me being coeliac they took special care to make sure everything was safe. Good options for gluten free, including excellent hash browns!

We had a very nice cream tea. The upstairs has a lot of seating and the service was quick. As visitors from out of town, the staff were very friendly in helping us and we had a nice conversation with them about the "proper" way to eat our scones.

Stopped for a breakfast bap before work. Staff were polite and friendly, the sausage bap was one of the best I've had. I will be back again.

we come here very often for food and coffee and cake and are never disappointed! the cakes are delicious, coffees well made and the food is always great. Slightly on the pricey side but definitely worth it for a relaxed atmosphere and tasty food.

I visited Boston Tea Party on Saturday morning and unfortunately had an issue with my order that was quite upsetting at the time. However, I want to take a moment to praise the lady managing the shift for the way she handled the situation. Her empathy, patience, and genuine care turned things around completely. Her calm and caring approach immediately put me at ease. She listened attentively and made sure the issue was resolved quickly, going above and beyond to ensure I felt cared for. She was so kind, which made me feel much better. It’s clear that she truly values her customers, and her excellent customer service deserves to be recognised. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Liv was lovely and accommodating. We were a large group with lots of different orders but all the staff were kind and made us feel welcomed. And the food was lovely as always!!

Super friendly staff and greeted with a warm smile, early on a Sunday morning. They were very accommodating for our family! We ordered porridge for our toddler and they offered an extra bowl, spoon and cold milk. Very quick to get drinks and food and just in general made us feel very welcome. Thanks!

As always, food and service excellent. They always cater to our tastes and the food comes out hot. I've never felt rushed to eat even when they are busy, like some places. We keep coming back here time and time again as we feel it's a better cooked breakfast then other places and value for money. Lovely garden to enjoy if you fancy the outdoors. Lovely cafe with good service, nice atmosphere with a great variety of food and drinks. The garden is great on a summers day however on this visit the gentleman's wasn't too nice smelling, maybe that says something more about men than the Cafe.

Love this place. Great food, even better hash browns. This is our second visit and the second time we have gone out of our way to come here. Egg Royal looks very professional, the toasties are what dreams are made of. Make sure you get 2 lots of hash browns as they won't last long on your table.

Honiton BTP has been a favourite spot of ours for several years now. The building itself is lovely and spacious with plenty of good seating options. There's a really nice, enclosed outdoor seating area that's perfect for our children. We've always rated the food and drink options at BTP, there's stuff if you just want a good quality snack through to full mains that satisfy hunger. But what really sets BTP apart is the staff. They go beyond friendly, they take time to get to know customers and build relationships with them. We've always felt very welcome and comfortable at BTP. Would highly recommend a visit.

I have been visiting the BTP for years, mostly in Bristol and more recently in Honiton, Devon. I’ve been here now a few times and it’s my go-to cafe for everything from coffee, afternoon tea and cake, but more often brunch. Though their operation is much slicker, mostly due to the pandemic, however, the food & coffee has remained fabulous. More to the point though, what I have found in each BTP that I visit, Bristol, Bath, Exeter or Honiton, the staff are always wonderful, and generally quite quirky, in the best possible way. I thoroughly recommend BTP wherever you are. Additionally, the Honiton branch have a lovely garden at the back, but can be a little chilly, bring a sweater when you visit!

We had a lovely visit here today. Staff were really friendly and very helpful/accommodating to my gluten intolerance. I had the best poached eggs and mushrooms in G/F toast. I’d previously tried Costa but they clearly haven’t moved with the times and could only offer me a brownie 😞 My only quibble was the amount of dogs in the cafe. As an asthma sufferer who’s asthma is triggered by animal hair it ruined the experience for me as we had to leave earlier than we perhaps would of.

Wonderful coffee shop, coffee smooth and cakes yummy. Barista made us a special request Coffee.. Perfect! Staff so nice and they want you to have a great experience. Wish you were closer to our home town.

Their coffee and walnut cake looks like a Persian love cake, their carrot cake is covered in walnuts… can’t have either due to walnut allergies which is fair enough but maybe don’t make your carrot cake look like coffee and walnut, and the coffee and walnut look like a Persian love cake with pistachio and rose? So strange Coffee was burned. Was busy so maybe a mistake… not sure I’ll return. My pastry chef niece was quite dismayed at the poor cake design/choices, and decided not to have the Persian cake as despite all the pistachios and roses and looking just like a love cake, it was in fact not. And the sign was facing backwards so we didn’t see straight away. Rose and coffee… not going to taste much rose, not a good combo. Settled for scones.
