Good coffee pricey but a nice cup full

Honiton Costa - as usual Costa provided us with a good cup of coffee, staff pleasant and efficient, a good array of food on offer but not today for us, just coffees. We sat outside and people watched, on a lovely sunny morning, very pleasant.

Great as always, the young man could have listened a bit better though. I had to repeat the order 3 times, as he was chatting to a colleague

Trying very hard in difficult circumstances. If only the Politicians would stop navel gazing and trying to sell pork pies and talk to people, not through TV or Zoom-go on take a risk.

Every time I come I here I'm served by some rude little ****. There's a conveyor belt of them at this Costa. They're miserable, impolite and put me off coming in. In fact, today is the last time I will ever visit this establishment. Girls, if you don't like working in a cafe, **** off somewhere else and look miserable there. They're all ugly little ****s, too. Just saying.

Went in for coffee/ snack was appalled how dirty it was 2guys serving not busy they could have wiped tables, won,t use again until its cleaner

Usually I’m ordering salted caramel frappe and here I get one of the worst tbh

So Costa had some bubble tea options, think they just started, got to know 2 days ago, since I love bubble tea, decided to try it out, plus it would save me a trip to Exeter to get it. I have never been so disappointed, I mean what is that nonsense they're serving as bubble tea? Unless it improves don't think Cost in Honiton or anywhere will be selling bubble tea. It was suppose to be a cold drink, the ice melted my the time I left the shop and a bit sour, counted the amount of bubbles. Not worth the price

Lovely little Costa - standard stuff but good quality. They were busy but polite and helpful.

Toilet could be cleaned a part from that ok.

Absolute shambles! I went to Costa Honiton on Saturday morning. There was around 6 people in front of me and another 3 or 4 joined afterward. I popped in to get a quick takeaway so I had change for the barber over the road. I ordered a mint infusion, as I thought this would be a quick option… turns out I’m wrong, a tea bag in a cup of water is clearly to complicated for you. It took around 15 minutes before my order was taken, then the entire queue including the people after me had received their drinks. Then the incompetent staff asked what I had ordered. At this point a full 20 minutes later, enough was enough, I had to leave. Well Costa Honiton, take my £2.25 and put it towards a little custom service training.

When ask for a large hot drinking chocolate, When you finally get it , it's warm in fact a child can drink the whole cup full with out burning there mouth , Costa certainly knows how to charge for warm hot chocolate

Quite small and not always enough seating, but good service and atmosphere.

Easy access from main Street, parking is a bit of a problem, maximum 1 hour free stay. Couple of tables outside to enjoy the sunshine. Really lovely lady at the till, super friendly, latte was delicious as always. Husband had a hot chocolate ( remind me about the hot cocoa my mum used to make) really clean, not too busy. Costa never disappoints

Standard Costa, not much to say except the staff here are friendly and it's a great place to chill for a moment.

Not the best costa. The staff is friendly but the premises need new furniture .It's convenient near the car park and bus stop for a quick coffee

Great service and great quality products

It was in a convenient location on our way home from a trip away. If the local alternative coffee shop we usually use was open, we would have gone there.

Typical Costa, great for coffee but ridiculously expensive for food.

Really poor. Tables not clean and no sign of anyone cleaning them despite us being the only customers. Barista outside the shop stroking a dog before coming back in to serve. Two stars rather than one because at least Costa drinks are nice.

A wide variety of drinks, hot and cold and they do have vegan milk, almond, soya etc.

My 11 year old son went here on his own on his way back from school this afternoon he ordered a choc chip frappe waited for it to come when it came they had made him a mint choc chip frappe he replied to say I didn’t order this very politely there reply yes u did very rudely and wudnt change it for him if it was sn adult they would hve changed it but because it was a child on his own they wudnt he brought that out of his pocket money and it took him a lot to go in there and ask for a drink without an adult with him for this to happen absolutely disgusting

We go often and always find Costa Honiton to be a great experience!!

Monday 21st March and we visited here for a coffee. We selected to sit indoors rather that at the outdoor pavement seating. Although it was a bit busy we found a place to sit, we sat on the comfy sofa. Once settled we then went to order of coffees. There was a bit of a queue, but that soon cleared, the two members of staff, who were very polite, worked hard to serve customers as quickly as possible, with minimal delay. We ordered two Flat Whites, our standard Costa choice, which were soon served. No disappointment here, as our coffees were as good as always, which we enjoyed in clean comfortable surroundings.

Would rather support a local shop

One of the nicest Costas out of the many I've been to. And it's dog friendly as well. Bright, welcoming, spotlessly clean and efficient. The usual range of Costa products served by absolutely charming and welcoming staff. It's a really nice environment in which to enjoy a decent coffee and a bite to eat at reasonable prices, so I highly recommend a visit. Well done to the excellent staff, see you again soon!

It's a Costa. No surprises, no delights, no scares.

Hungry for a sandwich and cold drink around 1.30 p.m today. Vegetarian so went for the ploughmans sandwich pre prepared. Opted to sit in and ordered a mango slushy type drink. Operators were friendly and efficient. Unfortunately pushing rubbish into an already full bin meant soiled rubbish was touching operators fingers, then handling a clean plate directly without hand washing is quite yuck! As the area is open plan all is visible to waiting customers. I guess lunchtime had been busy so bin emptying was overlooked. Sandwich was damp as refrigerated pre prepared can be and without much flavour and drink made my insides hurt as so freezing. Opted to take drink out in a plastic container so it would melt a bit. Quite disappointing, so I will spend my £7 lunch money elsewhere next time.

The customer service was appalling, I understand it's hard to hear with face masks on however I was loud and clear when ordering and they still got my order wrong (the manger herself). Then, when corrected, she was rude and never even apologized for getting it wrong. Will definitely be going to Coffee #1 next time.

We were meeting a friend on 14th September in Honiton and we had eaten , but as I have mild syptoms of IBS I needed a toilet, therefore I asked in Costa Coffee, a young man, if I may use their facilities, as due to the virus the public toilets were closed.I was told that, I was not allowed to use the toilet as I was not a customer. I pursued the matter as I was really uncomfortable & I offered to put a donation in his charity box if I was permitted to use the toilet, but again I was refused. I will never use Costa again and advise my friends to boycott all branches due to the lack of common decency, kindness and understanding, is this the way to treat a fellow human being in distress?

I’m sure there are many qualities to this branch, but sitting inside for fifteen minutes was painful, as any quiet was punctuated by the repeated refrain of the assistant trying to persuade customers to ‘upgrade’ their coffee, and pay more. None of these customers seemed blind; I think they would have asked for an ‘upgrade’ if they had wanted one.

Located in the nice picturesque town of Honiton is Costa Coffee, one of many coffee houses on the High Street. This was our first visit to Honiton and We were really impressed. We’d read beforehand that it was Market Day and were disappointed that there were only a few stalls there. Nevertheless we had an enjoyable coffee sat outside Costa, it was a lovely sunny warm day which made our experience that little bit better.

Been here twice recently, the second time, the young man who served us was very quick, efficient and polite. Only issue is the staff wearing face masks behind a big plastic screen. It's really difficult to hear them, muffled voices and background noise does not help, would be better if they didn't wear the masks, as legally they don't have to. This would then help everyone, especially those who are elderly or who have trouble hearing.

Costa is good were ever you go good choice

The team at Honiton Costa are all fab. They remember what drink you have and it is often ready for you when you get to the end of the counter. I usually pop in on the way to work and have a croissant too, but this morning they didn’t have any. They only had the chocolate twists, which I have not tried before. Robbie remembered months ago me mentioning a nut allergy, so double checked all the ingredients for me without me having to ask. I know Costa are a chain, but the team here really are great, friendly and provide perfect customer service.

My normately is a Starbucks and there is clearly a reason for this after my visit! I asked for a Espresso Con Pana which they were unsure what it is. When I told them I found my drink to have more whipped cream than an Amsterdam brothel!
