Delicious! Just finished my first curry (takeaway) from here, and it blew me away. I wasn't expecting it to be so good! I ordered Lamb Pathia and a garlic nan. The lamb was so soft and succulent, and the sauce was perfect: medium spiced, sweet, and tangy sour. Soft nan bread as well. The price was very reasonable too. I'll definitely be going back.

Booked a table for 5, to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. Food was superb, with one of the best Naan breads I have ever had. Couldn’t fault anything. Lovely touch of a birthday dessert given to my wife at the end of the meal and a gift to her as she was leaving.

Complimenti

DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY TO THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY! I had emailed to book a table for 13 people. Initially the restaurant replied to my emails and asked me to send a deposit of £10pp and emails once it was sent. I sent the deposit and emailed as requested. No reply. I have subsequently emailed many times and still no reply. The phone just rings out as well. I feel completely swindled out of £130 and will be pursuing the company until I receive my money back.

Lovely staff and surroundings, lake Pochard is more for the angling enthusiast than the recreational angler, due to size and bottom (weedy) however the small lake is great fun with fish weighing in respectably, simply put the venue is suitable for all the family, with absolutely fantastic lodges, we had a cavernous 3 bed lodge which was well furnished and has all appliances. Staff are full of great advice on fishing the two lakes, and there is a tackle shop just a few yards away. Well worth the trip, we, and the dog Eddie loved our week, many thanks :)

Otis & Belle Bakery, High Street, Broadway: a small café in a good location with a couple of tables on the pavement of the High Street but service with a smile and perhaps a china mug or cup would have enhanced the experience! Staff member was offhand and not interested in serving. Served both coffee and teas in takeaway paper cups despite "drinking in". Seems to be trading on its reputation and location rather than its service.

We attended a Wedding at Fosse Manor (in their Hyde Barn). The wedding catering was excellent. It is confusing to read the other reviews here as there was no actual restaurant on site that we could see - just the wedding banquet room and adjoining bar. Breakfast however was not good. Pre-cooked under 3 heat lamps and self-service. The tea was very weak even after adding more tea-bags! The breakfast room was styled like a hostel with long trestle tables for lots of guests to sit together, and was extremely noisy. After a night spent in the terrible accommodation here (for which we have written a separate review) we did not enjoy this experience at all. A shame, as the Wedding catering itself was very well done and managed.

Just had a couple of nights at Dormy house hotel (at which the back garden is one of the 2 restaurants) We ate at the back garden on the first night Let me preface this by saying the hotel and the chefs table restaurant (Mo, which we dined at on the second night) are top notch - I’ve reviewed them separately also If I’m being honest though, the Back Garden was a bit of a let down Setting - lovely Service - great Wine and cocktails - fab I think we just made a few bad choices in terms of dishes (which are always subjective at the end of the day) Emma had the gazpacho - we love a gazpacho, this one just felt a bit thin and lacking seasoning. It was almost trying to be a bit too delicate I’d say the same about my starter, I had the hot smoked salmon salad - it just didn’t taste of much, needed more dressing. Just something to bring it to life? Emma’s main - the curried Kiev was top notch I had the roast cod in a mussel veloute sauce. Nice, but only 3 mussels? Emma didn’t have a dessert, I was intrigued by the sheep’s cheese, honey comb and Eccles cake dessert (the most expensive at £14) It just didn’t work for me - two small blobs of cheese, a small square of honeycomb and a small (beautifully baked) Eccles cake - it just didn’t hang together, I’m not sure what it was meant to deliver? We had a pleasant evening (thanks everyone) but compared to the rest of the stay we felt it missed the mark
