Lovely, peaceful lodge by the lake. These lodges have everything you need, fishing or not.

We stayed in Maple Lodge for the second time. Good communication from the time of booking to arrival. Lovely and clean and everything you would need for a comfortable break. Dog friendly and the fishing was very good. Fishing tackle shop across the road.

Really disappointed with the fishing management, me and a friend booked way in advance to be told there was plenty of room on the lake for us to fish. On arrival, we were told that most swims were shut due to being 'Reserved' which we were told we couldn't do and the rest of the swims were already occupied by anglers. We was told only max 6 anglers on the lake, but there was 10 fishing. Incredibly frustrating considering we booked the lodge just to fish lake pochard. We are not local to lake pochard resulting in losing over £400. I cant fault the lodge, was really nice and clean in all due respects.

What a great location for a get away from it all long weekend. Great facility, well accommodated, peaceful and private.

Fantastic venue and a friendly welcome upon arrival, I could happily live in the lodge full time, clean, spacious and well equipped. The lake is stunning and offers the opportunity for big carp fishing. There is also a smaller match lake if that's what you want. Onsite restaurant and shops nearby, including a bait and tackle shop opposite the site.

One of the best places we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Accomadation was spot on, food on site was amazing. fish were plentiful in the lakes. Owners were really down to earth and friendly, will definately be going back

Wonderful views, amazing lodge, amazing walks and the nearby aquapark is wild! Unexpectedly impressive details like a smart tv and very fast wifi help too. However, our shower broke on the second day and throughout our stay water was cloudy and dirty unless you let it run.

A fantastic communication from booking to checking out, very friendly welcome, Very spacious lodges , with 2 great fishing lakes . Very peaceful and secure , will return again very soon .

What a lovely place to relax take in views watch the wild life and to fish. Very friendly staff. 2 things that didn't make me put a 5 star was my wife had to clean the lodge a bit as was a little dirty on the floor as had my daughter who like to play with her toys on floor and the water out of the taps was grey but not thier fault I suppose more the water board. But would definitely like to go again 👍

Great lodges, very spacious. Food is lovely, interesting menu with a Japanese fusion feel, good for vegetarians and pescatarians as well as meat lovers. Fished the main lake. Very tough fishing, would recommend pre baiting over night as the ducks are constantly diving down to steal free offerings. Difficult to draw the fish into the swim. But managed one bite and one fish over 3 days, 29lb mirror.

A stunning place to spend a few hours on the lakeside, lots of Herons and other water foil to enjoy.

We absolutely love this place. The lodges are well equipped, the lake is stunning and the setting is fab. Steve and his wife are fantastic hosts... cannot complain at all. Will definitely be returning again for the fourth time 😀

This is without a doubt one of the nicest places I have stayed for fishing. Lakes are amazing and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. Spot on with their fishing tips too. Definitely go back again

Excellent stay, good accomodation fishing on the march lake is excellent. Only down side no pubs close by, Waterside cafe waiting for drinks licence then everything will be spot on.

Great location within the Water Park and the log cabins clean and well maintained. Good value for money.

We spent two nights here (visiting for the RIAT airshow) and to be able to chill here was gold! Having your private wooden lodge on a small lake is great! Quiet and relaxing! The lodge itself (two sleeping rooms) was roomy and well equipped. Parking spaces right in front of the lodge. Shops and restaurants not far away.

I found Lake Pochard to be a little gem of a place located in a quiet spot where I was able to relax during my 2 night stay. The log cabin I stayed in was large, it had lovely views over the lake and well stocked with all the kitchen utensils and bedroom and bathroom linen and towels needed. I had need to contact Steve, the owner, prior to and during my stay for booking confirmation.I found Steve to be very helpful and accommodating during my stay. An added bonus is Lake Pochard location, which I found easily accessible from the M4 motorway and to Cotswold attractions namely Stow etc. You should have an enjoyable stay at Lake Pochard and like me look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful lakes, with excellent fishing. Holiday Lodges on site also, plus an on-site cafe. Ideal base for water sports, walking, bird watching and cycling.

Brilliant place to come for a relax, breakfast is pretty good and staff are always friendly, WiFi in the lodge which is a bonus. Lots of stuff to go off and do , also with the man-made beach only a short drive away and can't forget the fishing. . Definitely be going back ☺

Zeer ruime lodges op een prima locatie. Het verkeer op de snelweg A419 is bij een 'verkeerde' wind wel goed hoorbaar. De lodges zelf liggen aan het water waarover je een mooi uitzicht hebt. Cirencester ligt op 10 a 15 minuten rijden.

Nice lodge . Fishing on pochard lake not realy. Plenty weeds fish not active if there is some... breakfast not up to my like. Sausage very cheap, beans not nice. Actually only hash brown was good and bacon. Maybe good place for a family holiday but not for angling

I'm fishing over the road the food is expensive and budget quality at pochard lake better going to dobbies for breakfast cheaper and far better quality and service

Good breakfast to start the day with a good days fishing

Ok, it's out of season, wet and grey, but to me the location doesn't seem all that. Just very flat, and a lot of unimaginative man made lakes. The accomodation is a bit worn. Bit of black mould in the shower, spring gone in the sofa. Little things, but they add up to making the whole place feel a little tired. Other than that, cabin is spacious, and warm. Reasonably priced as accomodation in this part of the country goes.

Been here for the last 4 consecutive years. Lovely setting and well built warm lodges. But expensive for what you get.... No Wifi in lodges, its the 21st century......Fishing on small course lake is good, but shouldn't have to pay for a day ticket if spending shy of a grand to stay in the lodges. All fishing lakes, clubs have rules but some of the rules on the list are pretty weird. No Bite alarms???? For a lake that contains mostly carp??? No braided hook rigs???? The amount of broken rigs you loose using nylon rigs doesn't make sense. Main lake not worth the bother... Lodges need updating and regular checks need to be made as kitchen equipment missing or old. Some of the Furniture is old, worn and uncomfortable. Apart from that. If these changes were made it would be worth a visit.

Stayed for a week at August bank holiday, very discounted. Have been staying nearly every year since it opened. Cabins are very tired. Cleaners had to be called back. Asked for toilet seat to be changed because it was all scratched and plastic was peeling off. Oven was very greasy and there were very few pots and pans . Black mould aroun the bath and bath panel loose. Overall very disappointed not luxury anymore!

We spent four days at lake pochard. Fishing was excellent . The cabins were spacious, comfortable with a lovely view out to the lake. Only one complaint the BBQ was old and quite dirty. But would return again.

Good service in the caf3 always clean, fishing is great do check by email to see if theres any comps on before you go it's a day ticket water. Only freehh running feeders pellet an corn are best baits close in or tight to the island plenty of F1s need good tackle because the fish fight twice their size

Lovely little wood cabins. Only thing missing is some WiFi as phone signal is quite low inside the buildings heating is fine. Beds comfortable etc sound does travel through the building tho so be aware of that if you have little ones. Only downsides are that the water pressure is a bit low making the shower weak, towels are on the small side and only one toilet roll was provided. All in all very nice.

Great place to have a weekend brake. Quiet and nice wooden lodges. Perfect for couples, families and group of friends.

Great reasonably priced accommodation for families. The outside eating area is feet from the lake (careful with young families!) with visiting ducks and geese a regular occurrence!
