The best restaurants in Cotswold South West

Wonderful atmosphere with a varied menu. The black pork was exceptionally good. Definitely on my list of places to visit again.

The Queen’s Head is just off the main square and we found it by chance. Very friendly welcome with a lovely wood burner in the bar. Good choice of drinks and we decided to return for a meal. Simple menu with traditional options. We had the fish and chips and pie with both dishes plentiful and piping hot. Only downside was they advertised skin-on chips and served the equivalent of French fries. Worth a visit.

Fantastic find. Lovely pub, great menu, brilliant food. Lovely waitress, Mackenzie, so friendly and informative. She made our visit extra special!

Stayed October 2024. Lovely old hotel, clean, quite, fabulous staff. Breakfast very tasty and room was clean and lovely, bed very comfortable. Pub prices are very reasonable. Would stay here again.

Great service and food, clean oil for the chips. Be aware there is a queue, which can go out of the shop and up the street, but worth it

Overpriced hotel. The food is below everage. The staffs are grumpy. I had a pot of tea in the afternoon. The bill has been signed. I was questioning the next day by the staff whether I have whiskey or other things! Very unfriendly attitude. Guests walked into restaurant for dinner were questioned rudely. BTW : do not buy half board offer. Nothing offer with half board deal. You will be charged normal (deduct the 35 GBP "half board" money).

Very disappointed with the Onion bargees over cooked with just abit of lettuce when I asked for some Rieta sauce the waiter looked confused and came back with some red sauce? We had less poppadoms than ordered And they got 1 dish wrong I think the waiter was new or just wanted to finish early as the other main dishes were very good. After spending over £100 was disappointed on a special night out👎

Fantastic restaurant. Food was excellent, service outstanding and a gem in the most unexpected of places! Highly recommend!

If I owned a pub this is exactly how I would want it to be. Friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff, clean and comfy surroundings and excellent food. Our first time visiting and will definitely be returning. 4 of us ordered 4 different meals and all 4 were excellent. Highly recommend the hunters chicken best I've ever had. Dog n kid friendly too.

I live in the village and occasionally have a coffee while walking the dog, here they charge £3.25 for a coffee in a the smallest take away cup I have even seen and the coffee is not great either , I think I will stick to the Den in future

We stayed here for one night on our visit to the Cotswolds. What a gem of a place. Comfortable room and bed with a fabulous bathroom. Unfortunately we were too tired to check out the pub and restaurant, but it looked lovely. Would definitely recommend.
