This is a very lovely hotel with two nice restaurants/bistros. Staff is very professional and accommodating. Our room was well appointed and had a very nice view of the square. The bath tub was fantastic; although some nice bath products would have been a nice treat. The Spa on the other hand was a real disappointment. In my opinion, it is not a spa at all. It was only an indoor swimming pool with tempted to chilly water. There is NO HOT TUB. There is a steam room and this is about the best thing it has going. While I’m sure the Spa Services are really nice, I did not have any treatments, as there was no time in our schedule.

Arrived about 9.15 we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast with a couple who were visiting us . The sandwich board outside promised a warm welcome . We were ignored in reception then we stopped and asked a person if we could have breakfast . They told us to wait and they disappeared . We could see them waiting on tables in a dining room . The receptionist asked what we were doing and we explained . She took no action on our behalf after a further 5 minutes we left

We stayed using Buyagift vouchers with friends and it was a lovely weekend. The building is beautifully historic but clean and tidy and with aircon which is unusual in old style hotels. The gardens are lovely and the bar really welcoming. The staff are great, all very accommodating and friendly. We had a delicious dinner in the Fig dining room on Friday eve and great quality cooked-to-order breakfasts both days. Ordering breakfast the eve before is a little out the ordinary, but when the quality is so good you don’t mind. Sat morning breakfast ended up a little chaotic as they had a few unexpected guests and they were a little short staffed, but they tried to make it right so much, you can’t get upset as Sunday’s breakfast was just fine. We really loved our stay and the staff and chef made it for us. Would recommend.

As a birthday gift , friends of mine bought for me and my husband, afternoon tea at Cotswold House in Chipping Campden. It was a wonderful experience in a stunning location. The food was delicious and perfect portions and the staff were helpful and attentive. We then went into the bar for drinks before heading home. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Well worth a visit!

Spent a couple of nights here. Comfortable room with very good facilities including bath robes and slippers. Lots of stairs though. Breakfast is served in the Fig room which has a lovely view of the garden. Good breakfast on both mornings with friendly staff. Nice bar area and a good range of gin!

Large spacious well appointed rooms and an excellent breakfast. If you get an upper floor suite, beware the low clearance areas.

My wife and myself love a cream tea, and our visit to The Cotswold House Hotel certainly delivered one of the very best. Wonderful selection of savoury sandwiches, bagels and wraps, lovely scones, excellent cakes and tasty deserts, all served with a good selection of teas/coffees, all served in proper pots. The service was second to none, all highly recommended.

Have just returned from enjoying afternoon tea in this hotel. What a treat. One of the best afternoon teas we have ever had, [and we've had a lot!] The hotel felt very "safe" as regards Covid problems. The staff were all really helpful and very friendly, yet the service was excellent. The afternoon tea was SO fresh. We had substantial sandwiches, larger and thicker than the sort you usually get, get as light as a feather! [ One with egg and mayo, one with ham and mustard]. There was a smoked salmon bagel and a nice tangy wrap. There were three lovely cakes each, also rum truffles/chocolates and a lemon posset, all so fresh and tasty. Finally there were two fruit and two plain scones, with masses of cream and jam. All complimented by a really good selection of teas or coffee, with offers of refills and alternatives, set out in a light, clean dining room, with traditional white china crockery. PERFECTION. We will definitely be back.

Visit for afternoon tea. Very welcoming staff and sat in the lovely dining room. Tea was plentiful and delicious. Dietary requirements were catered for and requests for more hot water etc was not a bother. Highly recommend.

This wonderful little gem run by a husband from Turkey and wife from Slovakia prepare some of the most delicious food I’ve ever had. We had eggplant & red pepper mousaka and lamb tangine and topped the meal off with delicious homemade ice cream. Wonderful wine selection as well. Very reasonable prices. It’s a must visit in Broadway!!

Brought a group of my customers from Perth Western Australia and toured the Cotswolds as part of my Food Tour business. Just emailed to book again for 2025 London & Cotswolds trip! All staff were friendly and helpful. The building is beautifully appointed, with extensive gardens and outdoor areas, rooms were so comfortable and bathrooms well equipped. Best of all for us as food-lovers, was the restaurant with wonderful breakfasts every morning cooked to order and we all loved the dinner we experienced too. Can't wait to come back. A big thanks to all involved during our stay.

My wife thinks the best fish and chips she's ever had and a fussy 5yo demolished the cod fingers - it's certainly up there with the best chip shops in the UK.

The cafe is very basic which is fine, however, the prices are too high. Two coffees over nine pounds. We did have oat milk instead of cows and one was decaf but even so that’s the most we have been charged for two medium sized coffees anywhere in the UK. There was even a 10% service charge added to the bill which again was a first for us in a cafe. Staff were very nice but we won’t return. There is a limit to how much we want to pay for coffee. It’s not £9+.

We nipped in for a quick drink, the orange wine was delicious and the place has a nice atmosphere. We had some little snacks whilst visiting.
