The best restaurants in Abbey Bath and North East Somerset South West

I was so excited to try these macaroons as I have an obsession with them. From previous reviews I was prepared for the expense and macaroons tend to be pricey anyways but I was disappointed with how dry they were. There were a variety of flavours and colours were beautiful but I was shocked with how dry and flavourless they were. I’ve had macaroons from many places and can say these are sadly the worst.

He conseguido probar la mayoría de sus fabulosos productos. Todo es fresco, sabroso y de gran valor. El pastel de carne es excelente. Los giroscopios de pollo un miércoles son un placer. Los sándwiches y rollos están llenos de rellenos frescos. Gran servicio y muy recomendable.

Mal servicio y mesa dañada, desmoronándose. Pagó extra para sentarse dentro y gastó casi £ 18 en dos tazones medianos. La comida estaba bien, nada especial, bastante soso y gelatinoso, pero el personal nos ignoró en el mostrador y luego se negó a darnos agua del grifo ya que no teníamos nuestra propia taza. Legalmente los restaurantes en el Reino Unido deben servir agua corriente gratis. Lo evitan cobrando por la taza. ¿No estás seguro de si es legal hacerlo? No hay nada que los detenga lavando tazas en lugar de usar vasos desechables. No volveré.

Intentaba alejarme de todas las multitudes en Bath que visitaban el mercado navideño. Encontré esta cafetería por casualidad y me sorprendió gratamente. El ambiente es acogedor y acogedor. Tuve un batido, que estaba delicioso, y una masa sin gluten que también era muy sabrosa. El servicio fue bueno y el personal muy amable y agradable. Definitivamente regresaría.

The lady was very welcoming,bacon role was nice but, order was wrong. The bill was wrong. Apart from that it was good. The only person working needs some training.

Tenía un vale para una hamburguesa y una cerveza. Trató de reservar la mesa a través de la aplicación de vales, pero dijeron que tardarían 48 horas en responder. Llamé al restaurante de todos modos y se confirmó que necesitábamos reservar a través de la compañía de vales. Les explicamos que solo estuvimos allí un día, así que decidieron honrarlo. Helios sun sculpture was amazing!

I booked for lunch with my husband having read the recent reviews and was a little uncertain how our experience would go as there have been a few negative reviews. However, we were both happy with our meal and our welcome, service and food. We did not have a huge lunch but really enjoyed all our dishes - all freshly prepared and tasty and interesting. The waitress was pleasant and friendly and the restaurant probably have 14 people there for lunch and we did not have a long wait for food. We loved the look of the Japanese tea set up which was served to someone while we were there - a further trip is needed!! We have tempura prawns, very nice with spiralled dichon and a tasty dip, vegan rice with spring onions and truffle, wagu beef sliders (delicious) and a wonderful aubergine. We had an interesting sake drink celebrating cherry blossom time, but we also enjoyed some Jasmine tea - a very enjoyable first visit.

The staff were very friendly, polite and warm and the food was very tasty.

This is my second time buying roasted milk tea in bath brunch. unfortunately its always taste like water and not good at all. the company should train their employees more often. this the only chatime brunch i have problem with btw. my favourite one is in bristol. they make the best and its so weird it taste different when they are the same company🥲

Visitamos el toque de queda dos veces como pareja, y ambas experiencias fueron fantásticas! La Noche Mexicana fue un punto culminante, con la birria de res y las enchiladas de pollo siendo absolutamente sobresalientes — llenas de sabor y perfectamente cocinadas. Nuestra segunda visita para el asado dominical fue igual de impresionante. El cordero y el vientre de cerdo se cocinaron a la perfección, y los entrantes griegos agregaron un toque encantador a la comida. Estábamos tan emocionados con la comida en ambas ocasiones que no pensamos en tomar ninguna foto hasta que los platos estaban vacíos! Buena comida, un ambiente acogedor y un servicio atento hacen que el toque de queda sea una visita obligada. Muy recomendable!

Extremely disappointed. We came on Saturday evening to bring a friend who was celebrating her 18th birthday that day. The food and service was good but when I booked and said it was for an 18th celebration I was told that there would be balloons and the staff would sing happy birthday. We didn’t get either of those things. Just so glad I didn’t tell the birthday girl - she would have been so disappointed. Amanda Angell

Excellent 👌 very good meats and top service!

Came here for Mother's Day with my family and the experience was pretty poor. We had a midday booking, and yet there were a lot of things on the menu that simply weren't available / sold out: two choices of our main courses (the duck course, fish and chips...) and even the wine we wanted was not available. If you're going to market yourself as a great place for Mother's Day, why not have your stock available, rather than having to apologise every time we picked something? The live piano was a nice idea, and we weren't even the closest table to it, but it was so loud we couldn't hold a conversation - it's a grand piano - shut the lid! The last straw was the slow service, from an understaffed, overworked and under-experienced team. Certainly not an experience I wish to repeat.

Lia was amazing. Brilliant service; brilliant. Lia’s attention to to detail, was second to none. It’s the little things that really stood out for us. Even got me to order a cheeky arancini when we were full. Now that’s, a saleswoman! The Botanist should cherish such an employee. God bless you Lia.
