Really enjoyed some light bites shared with my wife for dinner. Staff more than happy to accommodate a change to a cocktail for us. Loved the ambience and the music was quiet enough to hear each other.

food was really nice. waited 20 mins for food and waited 30 mins for our drinks which wasn’t great. service was lovely and inviting- but unfortunately slow drinkswise. would come again! food was really tasty- expect that our drinks order got lost behind the bar so don’t expect this will be most peoples experience!

Best resturant experience in UK and I have been traveling with the family to UK every year now for the last four heats for vacation. The service was excellent and they gave all my 3 kids crayons for drawing during the wait time for the food. All the dishes we ordered were perfect they have really delicious pizzas. The atmosphere was amazing and they had really nice facility including big seating areas and toilets were clean and spacey. I would recommend this for anyone visiting Bath that wants to have a nice meal and enjoy to come here. Will try their other branches if I can as they have in London and others from what I understand from the waiter.

Only had a pot of tea and some water but this place was great. The service was great the atmosphere ( we sat outside) was awesome and it was really great value. The cuts are sooooo comfy. Is definitely recommend stopping and having a drink.

Coppa club are a bit hit or miss - The Bath Townhouse was unfortunately a miss for us. Can’t fault the staff they were polite , friendly and helpful although there didn’t seem to be enough working as they were all quite rushed. We sat in the back half of the restaurant which curiously has a server station right in the middle of it obscuring the view of the restaurant , not clear why this need to be here as there is another just to the side of it against the wall. We were sat at the table just behind the server station and it wasn’t the nicest view. Food as always with Coppa Club was hit and miss , some dishes have good portions and are reasonable value for money and other just disappoint and make you feel like some on just did an number on you. Burgers and pizza were good but the fish and chips was a measly portion of fish and way smaller than i have seen served in other restaurants.

Since our last visit to Coppa Club in Bath they have introduced a "Bar Service only" in the lovely light and open front part of the lounge. This meant a 5-person lunch order was split into "Small dishes" arriving as starters and "main dishes" coming out later. Waiter service would have identified this and we would all have dined together, but not this time. Josh was very helpful and explained this new setup and how much trouble it had caused. Why change a great formula? There appears to be no internal communication system of customer feedback and we were told to review publicly so that someone "higher up" might pick up on this. I'm giving more stars than this experience deserved because of previous wonderful experiences at Coppa Club ..... but they need to keep waiter service as it has always been one of their great strengths and a reinforcement of goodwill.

I recently visited The Bath Townhouse with some friends for drinks. It has a nice buzzy atmosphere, and was a lovely spot for some Saturday night drinks. The cocktails and drinks list is extensive, and offers a wide selection. I had a Negroni and a Margarita and both were superbly made. My only grievance is that service can be very slow. We visited earlier in the evening and waited over 10 minutes to be acknowledged and given menus, then a further 15 minutes for drinks. The service was very friendly however. Overall - it's a nice spot for some pre or post-dinner drinks, and although not the cheapest spot for a drink in Bath, it's certainly worth the price tag.

Staff was friendly, however we ordered tea and instead received a glass of water with a lemon. And was told that it was actual tea… when we asked about it the waiter argued and said it was real tea and that he watched them make it, but it was just water with a lemon. It’s not a bad spot just make sure to clarify exactly what you want before you order.

Came to the restaurant, approached the bar, and there he was: a slim dude in a white shirt, guarding the entrance like the bouncer of an exclusive club from behind the bar. He told us to sit in the front, apparently unaware that the cafe bar area has chairs so low they're practically on the floor. I asked if we could sit in the restaurant area, seeing as it was clearly empty. With a face that looked like I just asked him to solve a math problem, he replied, "Do you have a reservation?" Knowing the fact that only 3 tables occupied sitting in the restaurant area. Anyways, we sat down because, well, we were hungry. Ordered a non-alcoholic Guinness but got a full-strength one instead. After realizing I was getting tipsy off my 'sober' drink, I shrugged it off—no worries, right? Hearing the another customer making comment about her look saying she will be 40 soon when I had a look she was more likely 60 start to thinking to myself are they spiking peoples drinks or she's going in to midlife crisis already anyways . Then came the starters: pizzetta, aka garlic bread doing the backstroke in oil. I'm pretty sure climate change took a hit from all that oil. Mains arrived, and my partner's fish cakes were so bad that even Marks and Spencer's frozen section would be ashamed. My fish and chips? The batter was in an abusive relationship with the fish—it had beaten all the meat out of it. I think the mushy peas were victims of a drought; clearly, climate change struck again. As for the mayo, it was so salty I suspect they're in league with the salt company. And those fries? They were covered in enough sea salt flakes to trigger another drought in my mouth. If you're looking for a dining experience that doubles as a lesson in extreme seasoning and environmental issues, this is your place!

It started off ok, people were friendly on arrival, waited ages to get a drink or nibbles but maybe they assumed I wanted to wait for other guests. I grabbed someone's attention eventually who was a little abrupt and said I'll get someone to come over. Starters/nibbles were great Ordered the carbonara, it was awful, pasta was so hard and the bacon was thin and so overcooked it was crunchy. And the whole dish was so salty. I left half of it and only ate that much because I had not eaten all day. My friends sweet potato were missed so she had eaten most of her main before they arrived. No apology or acknowledgement of error. I ordered an Irish coffee and it was vile, no sugar and could barely taste alcohol. I literally only had two sips and left it. Throughout the evening and even when handed the bill, no one asked how the meal was or asked why I left the Irish coffee. If I had been given the chance to feed back, I would not have felt the need to write here. Shame as we have a lot of work events in Bath, will not be back or recommend this place.

Great place to meet with friends in town, the food is good and reasonably priced. Service was a little slow, but we were told that our server was on her first shift, still being trained, so we didn’t mind too much. Will definitely return!

A charming well appointed bar offering breakfast, brunch, coffee and the usual wine bar drinks. We found the service very good and the online table payment worked a treat. Very enjoyable.

Went on Bank Holiday Monday Lovely and stylish place, and busy. Have ordered tuna steak with some veg. Tuna was tasteless and so were the veg. I ate anyway as I was hungry and paid £25 for this haha. After that I've asked for the dessert menu. Waited for about 20 min, no dessert menu, so I asked for bill and left Good rose though 👍

Terrible , costly food. By the time I took all the ice out of the tumbler, there was hardly any liquid in my £12 Negroni! Shocking experience.

Nice layout and ambiance unfortunately spoiled by lackluster if not dangerous food. My main course chicken was undercooked and raw. Drew it to the attention of our server who responded with ‘oh sorry about that’ and that was the end of it. No follow up nothing. Not impressed as this is potentially a food safety issue. Thank you for the response. I know how to use a prob the center body of the meat was cooked but as can be seen from the picture the end section was not. Raw and sinuous.

Coppa Club is an attractive looking restaurant and has very welcoming staff. However, the food is just okay. I ordered the asparagus and courgette ravioli which is cooked in butter. The pasta itself was still quite crunchy and the dish was not warm so the butter cooled and tasted overly oily. The price, as a vegetarian dish, does not feel justified as the portion was small and cost more than the beef ragu pasta my partner had. The small plates were better than the mains.

Popped in this morning for a midweek breakfast we both ordered different dishes - both outstandingly well done. Lovely staff not too pushy or gushy …got to choose where we’d like to sit and it has a great atmosphere Good coffee also and all really reasonably priced - I’d definitely go back when in bath Good find 😄

Booked a table in the upstairs area, but on arrival I was given a table downstairs (as there was a party upstairs). Very good food with a selection of some slightly more unusual dishes.

Really disappointing experience. Attended a networking event and had been given the private room. Unfortunately the whole building is not accessible but we weren't made aware of this during the booking. I attended with a disabled friend who also had a baby in a buggy and after asking whether there was a lift to the room we were told that there wasn't and that we'd had to climb the large set of stairs. We asked if there was somewhere to leave the buggy downstairs - apparently there wasn't, so when we asked if someone could help us move the buggy up the stairs (my friend had to hold the banister to get upstairs and I had the baby in my arms) we were told that there wasn't. The manager had a bad back and none of his staff would be able to help us. To say that we instantly felt unwelcome was an understatement and because of this we would not return and would also be very wary when booking any events with them as it is not accessible or welcoming to those who have mobility issues or have children!

Hard to wish for anything better on any chill night.

Yummy food, clean and pleasing-on-the-eye venue with brilliant service, very attentive! I think a broader menu with some different dishes for brunch rather than the standard, would make it even more exciting

Bit disappointed with our visit here. The atmosphere is good and the staff are attentive. The food however was disappointing in terms of quantity. A slither of sourdough to have your eggs on, and when it comes to the extras you can add, so disappointed with the quantity! Picture this. You get a side of mushrooms with your breakfast for £2 extra and you get a single small brown mushroom! Ridiculous! Also, if you love your coffee, I'd say this is not the place to have a quality cup. I hear this place is good for cocktails though.

A Must try in Bath. The Coppa Burger was beyond expectations. Tried Multiple places in Bath, this was one of the best. Carbonara was on point, Fishcakes was my favourite in the entire meal. The ambience and service were exceptional. The only issue I incurred was they accidentally charged me twice for my bill. Hopefully dropped a mail. Apart from that, Coppa is one among the best in Bath.

Maya was extremely lovely this evening. She made our experience so happy and gave us as much time as we needed. A real credit to the team.

I booked a table for 4 on Saturday 23rd March for lunch to take out my wife, her mother (it was her 84th birthday) and her sister who was visiting from the USA. Unfortunately I was unwell so the 3 ladies visited without me, and this is essentially my wife’s review. They arrived a little early and there was only standing room at the bar, which wouldn’t suit my wife’s mother. There were 2 armchairs available but they weren’t allowed to sit there. They therefore nipped next door to buy a hot chocolate and came back with 3 nearly finished drinks in sealed containers. The maitre d insisted they dispose of the drinks or give them to him and they would be returned when they left. He was very insistent about this and made a big deal about it, which was very embarrassing. He was very rude and needs some training on how to address people. If my wife’s mother had been able to walk elsewhere they would have gone somewhere else The rest of the staff were absolutely charming apparently and they ended up having a really fab 84th birthday lunch, but the experience was marred by the rude and unfriendly welcome

Today I spent my afternoon in the lovely coppa club, I was served by a wonderful girl named Scarlett she went above and beyond absolutely amazing she was.

Visited this afternoon sat at the bar and had tea and a carrot cake. Served by lovely bella, who made an excellent coffee. Welcoming atmosphere and good service, will be returning.

Amazing place in Bath! We came here for a hen weekend, managed to get a private room for us to have brunch! Was able to play our own music on their Bluetooth speaker. Food was delicious!

An average-just below average eatery in central Bath. Very small portion sizes but nice tasting. We ordered the some sharing an individual starts between a table of 6. We ordered a ‘large’ sharing plate which was definitely not large. We got pasta for mains. There were 2 portion sizes offered on the menu (approx price of £9 vs £16). We each ordered the larger of the dishes thinking that we would receive a large portion as we were all starving. These ‘large’ mains were what I would expect of the small price, similar to a kids menu portion size. NB multiple of us wanted the steak frites but we were told they were all out (it was only about 12.00 on a Sunday!). The flavour was okay. I had the been shin ragu which came recommended from our server. It was flavoursome in parts but generally watery. Overall I left being disappointed. Service and atmosphere average - no complaints but nothing shining above and beyond.

Appalling. Complete waste of our time & money. We went to the bar to order drinks.We got told to sit down & someone would serve us. Nobody served us. When we asked we were told it was bar service. The waitress was so grumpy… her face was almost comical because she was so fierce. We chatted to the manager.,. He was equally as bad…. He had no regard for anything we said to him. No wonder his team are as bad as they are…… bad management equates to bad service & unhelpful, unhappy staff. I paid a lot of money for a Long Island iced tea… The bar staff need to learn how to make it properly. What I actually got was a coco cola with a few spirits in it. There was no lemon juice added at all. We’ll never step foot in there again. Funnily enough… they took the service charge off our bill.

Good coffee and great ambiance, would just ask that tables are wiped between diners at busy periods.

Had the winter salad and it was easily the best salad i have ever had

Not unpleasant and good food. The fashion for relaxed dinning seems to have gone a little far, I find eating ones lunch from a low armchair isn't the most comfortable of experiences. But that is only my opinion. Other tables were available but we weren't offered one.

Rip off service charge of over £6 added to my bill for 2 glasses of wine each (2 people) sat at the bar so no service aside from pouring my drinks. Wine was good but pricey compared to other bars and we were given no idea of the price as there was no information available that we could see at the bar. Bar staff were lovely but management need to rethink adding service charges for drinks only and not put the onus on customers to read the very small print about the discretionary service charge and save the customers the discomfort of challenging it, embarrassing when with others

I am always searching for nice breakfast places whenever I travel to a new town. I'm glad that I picked to visit this place in Bath. The atmosphere was cosy with nice colours and nooks. I tried the Crushed Avocado with Eggs. Very tasty, the avocado was similar to an acidic garden salsa, not a creamy guacamole. Paired with the chili and lime for a tiny kick. I added some bacon which, for an American, was actually alright and not just soft ham! My British husband was pleased with the skillet which is standard Full English Breakfast. It made me happy to see that it was a dog friendly place as well, customers all seemed chill and happy. Prompt service from the employees too!

The food is excellent, the reception is excellent, the prices are acceptable, and the place is beautiful, but they allow dogs inside the restaurant. The girl but the waiter was nice and the guys inside the restaurant Friendly. The quantity is plentiful and the place is worth trying again. In the city of Bath, on High Street, there are healthy waffles made from wheat. The amount of American coffee is small in a cup.

Cocktails were lovely but the food was very disappointing. They argued with my friend when she had to send back a very very overcooked steak. The rest of the food was very average. Service was poor. Wrong items sent and others very slow to arrive. No apologies for long waits or getting anything wrong. Lovely building though.

This place is really chilled. Every seat is comfortable and surprisingly for the city centre its not tooooo pricey. Its not cheap but honestly a lively place for a catch up. The food was delish as well. I had the wild mushroom tag and my friend had the ceasar salad, but of which were flavour packed.

Very pricey. Service is not so great, and food is just average. A bit of a disappointment on my birthday. They sell foods in 2 different sizes: the one with reasonable price is actually an appetizer size, and the one rather expensive is the proper meal size. I'm sorry, but I am not paying 22 pounds for a plate of pasta. We had the spicy pizza and it was one of the spiciest foods I've ever had in my life, and trust me, I come from a culture of spicy food. It wasn't bad, just average. I expected more. If you want to have a great experience, go somewhere else.

Expensive chain coffee shop. Hot chocolate was nice but we had the salmon and avocado on toast for brunch and to be quite frank the food is quite poor - if Im paying £20 for eggs on toast I at least expect hollandaise sauce and a decent slice of bread. I've had better eggs royale at cosy lounge club for a fraction of the cost. Even boston tea party up the road is nicer than what we had. Staff were friendly and attentive but come on..

Enjoyed my salad with 6 very Thin slices of Raddish. Loads of lovely very fresh like coz type lettuce, Advocado? where? hardly any of it. was mushy bits Under the lettuce. I mentioned it three times to two assistants n the bar manager where l gad to pay Cash there at the bar for my bill. But it was due to head office re the amounts of food quantity fir the menu. But definitely not worth £11 bottle of coke £3.50 then there was a percentage had yo pay on top. Making the bill dearer. Iv never ate in this place before for and for whst l had in my dish was terrible.

Busy Friday 22nd December afternoon. Service was good but beef ragu was a very small portion with hardly any meat, hate to think how much you would get for the small portion. Dessert nice but had to leave table before we had coffees as it was booked.

Left standing at the bar being completely ignored by the bar staff , eventually we walked out! Walked past alittle later in the day when it was clearly quieter, so decided to give it a second chance , shown to a table and drinks order was taken but we waited along time for our drinks to come and that’s was the only drink we had! Nobody returned to see if we’d like another drink, staff were awful! Definitely won’t be returning Such poor poor service

Two friends and myself visited one evening last week, we ordered our drinks and food, which were all different dishes. I ordered a small plate of the beef shin ragu. When it arrived, I realised there was 1 tiny tiny piece of beef, about the size of a 20p, I searched for the rest of the beef shin, there wasn’t any! I asked our server to check with the chef to see if he could add a few more pieces of beef and she took my dish away A manager then returned with my dish and explained that it was as described on the menu and that is what I had ordered! I questioned the amount of beef on the plate and he quite bluntly said that’s what was described on the menu and he refused to add more meat! He explained that to add more meat to the dish, he would have to open another pre-packed, pre weighed portion of the dish and he was not willing to do this! As a group we were really surprised at this Manager’s reaction, he was unwilling to be helpful. As he had been holding and breathing all over my dish I decided against eating it. He offered to allow me to order another dish to eat but my friends had at this point started on theirs, so by the time my new dish would have come out, I would have been eating on my own, it wouldn’t have made for a great dining experience, so I declined to order anything else and made it clear I wouldn’t be paying for the Ragu dish. The Manager then left, at which point another diner came over to our table to say he was also disappointed with his Ragu dish. We reflected on the bizarre exchange with the manager, the restaurant wasn’t overly busy, we had been crammed onto a very small table, the service was beyond dreadful and one of my other friends commented that her food had come out cold in the first place, the 3rd dish was a salad so not an issue. We decided at this point to not continue dining at the Coppa Club and advised the manager that we were going to leave. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, the venue is gorgeous, a lot of love and work has been put into it! The staff seemed nice but our interaction with the Manager was bizarre with absolutely no element of customer service in his manner. I know that most restaurants have prepacked ready to microwave food and perhaps just got unlucky with my choice of dish, but it was the service which was the biggest disappointment.

Sat upstairs in the lounge on a Tuesday afternoon Over all… a bit meh. Food generally just not great for the price. I could make a better Caesar salad at home! My guests both had a burger, they said it was fine but the bacon was under cooked so they did not eat it. Staff more interested in chatting behind the bar and bartender watched our drinks sit on the side and melt rather than helping the lovely blonde lady who was working extremely hard to keep up with customer demand. She was the only saving grace during our visit so thank you to her (sorry we didn’t catch her name). Also the upstairs always seems to smell like drains…? Overheard a lot of errors from multiple tables also so maybe they were short staffed. Probably won’t visit until improvements are made.

Excellent place for brunch! The atmosphere is cozy and the value for money is more than appreciable. I recommend 200%.

My partner and I visited yesterday. We were greeted at the door by a gentleman who said there was no seating left and we would have to stand. But we had booked. Didn’t receive any apology for the assumption. Food was great. Our service was mediocre at best. A women who simply brought us food and drinks, but seemed much more welcoming toward surrounding older couples and families. Like I said food was great, unlike the service.

Absolutely brilliant place, lunched with a girlfriend and couldn’t fault it! Food hot and tasty, waitress very friendly and knowledgeable, lovely ambiance and decor. Well worth a visit.

The atmosphere here is cosy and warm, with rich interior and furnishings. We had a private dining room and it was a great space, especially for group dining. The food was quite mixed though in quality and a level below what I'd have expected for the price and the type of place the club is trying to be. The flat-iron steak was a good pick, but the ragu was poor (clumps of pasta and little sauce) and sharing platter portions quite menial. However, it's just about a 4-star overall because the service was very good. They were kind, super responsive and professional. Thanks to the staff for an enjoyable evening - but please have a word with the kitchen to make improvements to some of the dishes!

Lovely location, very comfortable, nice decor. Not a good experience.! Despite having booked a table mid afternoon. We walked into the cafe and were told "go and and stand by the door"!This woman was having a debate at the bar staff. Ignoted us took people behind us to table. Eventually told "go upstairs". Left standing there for 5 minutes . 3 people behind bar talking. Eventually a girl had to go downstairs to ask manager where we should sit. Minutes later she returned ignored us. We were still standing. And so it went on! Bad attitude by staff apart from young man as we left. Thought owner may like to know.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! Manuel was incredibly kind and helpful, making our meal even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. I can't wait to return!

Came here for dinner while up visiting the University of Bath. Very nice staff, very friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good, and they had a nice selection. Would likely return again.

The waitress did the terminal error of not checking card payment had gone through properly. I was therefore chased for non payment and made to feel it was my fault. Completely shocking and unprofessional so will never return. Response to the owner: the waitress presented the card machine above my head height as I was sat in a low chair, and asked us if I wanted a receipt. At this stage I had ascertained that payment had gone through. Do not put this back on me, it was your mistake.

A beautiful place to eat right in the city centre of Bath. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was of excellent quality and served pretty quickly considering how busy it was. I love the decor of this place too, perfect setting for a romantic evening.

A great addition to Bath!….hubby and I managed to get in on a very busy Saturday lunchtime after being greeted by cheerful staff and told we were welcome to sit at the bar until a table became available which did very quickly. We had only a light lunch but all was very tasty, fresh and nicely presented (calamari, buttermilk chicken and house salad with fab dressing on)…a glass of very nice Montepulciano to wash it down was good too! The place was buzzing and we noticed how the staff were interacting constantly with people and there was a really good feel about this place….the decor is gorgeous and we’re looking forward to coming back one evening….thankyou for a lovely lunch ☺️

We dropped into Coppa Club on a busy Saturday afternoon when shopping in Bath and although there seemed to be no space in the bar/restaurant the manager went above and beyond to create a table for two within the bar area and gave us top class treatment. I'm coeliac and this often proves difficult when eating out but I have to say the staff/chefs went above and beyond to facilitate my needs and did so with great tasting food in good time which surprised me given the sheer volume of customers all whilst remaining unfazed which is testament to the set up here. A top experience and a place I'd strongly recommend and will be returning to in the near future.
