Great atmosphere, delicious authentic Greek food, staff can't do enough, all you want is the Sun and beach and 30 degree heat. Would definitely recommend to anybody

Prdered the rolled pork dish and a side of pita. The absolute best thing I’ve had in a very long time. The service and the wine was great as well. And yhe ambiencce and atmosphere was exceptional.

Lovely atmosphere quiet so you can hear conversation..unless with a grumpy teenager who isn't wanting to talk much. Varied selection of food to suit all tastes. Quite generous portions. Will visit again.

This place is a Greek restaurant with high ratings that I found when most restaurants in the bathroom were closed on the night of January 1, 2025. It was my first time to eat Greek food. It is highly recommended. The service is very good and the recommended dishes are also delicious. . Finally, each person was given a dessert. What a deal! They are a family restaurant, very friendly staff here.

We were very disappointed. I love Greek cuisine. However, the food was incomplete and poorly presented. The prices were very high.

We had a Sunday lunch after Xmas markets walk. Delicious and genuine greek food, together with nice greek music and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

A tourist trap to avoid. Categorically the worst customer service I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing in Bath. The waiting staff are in dire need of training to ditch their "couldn't care less attitude".

Maybe avoid the Chicken Gyros. Otherwise good. Chicken Gyros is basically a big pile of air-fried chips with some indistinct flakes of chicken fragments thrown over and sitting under a pile of semi soft onions with a tonne of paprika on top. It wasn't good. It was dry and lacking in any form of distinct flavour. I was left with the opinion that the 'mountain' presentation effect disguises the imbalance between chips and the rest. My partner was lucky enough to order the Greek pork Tigania dish, which was astonishingly good. Served in a skillet, with perfectly caramelized onions and the best olive oil and herb infused flatbread that I have eaten (apologies to my partner!). It is a tour de force. The staff are very good and do wonders in their Tardis-like kitchen. Best of all, they verbally point out that a service charge has been added to the bill and 'would we like it removed?' THAT is a real breath of fresh air.

Great food, great service, just a great place to have a meal with your family

This is our third time to Jars Meze and it was just as good as our previous visits. Only small downside was that we were sat by the external door and the staff were coming and going - it was quite chilly. But otherwise, lovely…

We arrived at the restaurant without a booking and were very happy that room was found for us. The staff are really friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice food came here on my birthday nice staff and good atmosphere

Unfortunately it is not authentic Greek food at all. £26 for a ‘gyros ‘ which is basically coop salad, air fried chips and bits of chicken with onion. Complete rip off. Service and atmosphere good so that is a positive. Go elsewhere in Bath. The English people on these reviews leaving 5 stars do not know what good Greek food is- please ignore the 5 star reviews.

Lovely food and service. We got here on a quiet afternoon in Bath visiting the Christmas market. Such a lovely little spot, will definitely return. The mousaka was delicious!

Welcoming friendly staff, timely and straightforward service, and very lovely food indeed! Just the lunch we needed to get out of the cold after a bit of shopping. Would love to come back for an evening meal.

Seated upstairs in a very cold room, under the air-con until which sadly was not on. Food was not hot and the plates were stone cold. 2 Rum cocktails were lovely as was the garlic pitta bread, however the whole ambience and disappointing meat feast mezze has put us off returning to a Greek restaurant in the future. The owner went on to say, he also owns OPA Greek restaurant in the city and we can go there and get 20% discount!

Great food and atmosphere. We first stumbled on this restaurant by accident and it's become our go-to restaurant in Bath every time we're here. Recommend getting a few hot/cold meze dishes to share and some of the excellent pitta breads. And leave room for dessert.

We were stuck between here and somewhere else for dinner when visiting bath. We decided to go to the other place then walked past here and couldn’t believe how incredible it smelled. Food was faultless. Meat platter for two was huge and all delicious.
