Probably one of the most reasonable priced value for money restaurants with very good taste and excellent portion size. The best sushi I ate in a while. Very fresh and good value for the real thing. Highly recommend.

I come here regularly for lunch as a treat as I work just round the corner and I absolutely love it! It really is a must try if you’re visiting and need a quick but delicious meal. The food taste homemade and is really good value for money. They have a great selection of sushi, hot food, kimchi, drinks, and all reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the Sweet & Chilli Chicken with rice, OR the Tofu Katsu Curry. I also love the pots of kimchi they do - they are spicy and delicious. If you’re looking for a quick lunch, with high quality food, filling, and delicious, then definitely give this place a try. I have visited for months now and have consistently loved it.

I went here last Tuesday as I was in Bath for the Xmas market. The restaurant was busy which is understandable. I had the Sweet Chili Pork and noodles. It was very nice. I just wish we had something like this in Cornwall.

Trying to find a quick bite before a visit to the theatre, we were unfortunate enough to chance upon this Korean Japanese restaurant. How can you go wrong with chicken katsu and teriyaki chicken? Plenty when they are covered in a sickly lukewarm gloop. Spring rolls were crisp and ok. To be fair, the place was full so someone must like this stuff.

The “Bath Landlady” has done a fantastic job at the pub. Was a pub with a reputation of Fosters lager, and some interesting people. Now it’s cool, with an excellent selection of drinks, it’s been stripped back and now feels like a proper pub, with plenty of live music and a hip clientele. As a former Bath pub landlord, this pub is bang on

Making you wait 15 minutes to then be turned down because they don’t have a table, even though they just gave a table to another group who turned up after us. Extremely disappointed .

A very good Asian food restaurant with variety. We ordered Miso Ramen and different sushi and everything was very good. Quality and price accordingly. Highly recommended

I recently celebrated my wife’s birthday at Budo Izakaya, and it was truly a fantastic experience! The food was exceptional—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff went above and beyond to make the night special, accommodating all our requests with genuine hospitality. The vibe felt like a true izakaya in Japan, lively and welcoming, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable evening. Highly recommend Budo Izakaya for anyone looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience!
