The best restaurants in Abbey Bath and North East Somerset South West

We've eaten at the oak for years. But today's lunch was a disappointment because of the service. The waiters who served us were nice. But they did what busy tourist restaurants do in London to move customers through quickly. They cleared some plates before we'd finished eating or asked if ok to do so. They gave us the bill not long after we'd finished and without us asking for it. This made us feel rushed. And for a £45 lunch, that isn't good.

Great sandwiches and cakes. Had 2 lovely baguettes on brown bread and chicken . Absolutely delicious. Brownie was mouthwatering. Will come back for more.

Such a great vibe and the best coffee in Bath at a good price. Always my favourite choice! The food is delicious with a good number of options. Friendly staff.

Qué hermoso hallazgo para el desayuno. Pintoresco y peculiar, servicio fabuloso y buena comida. ¡Tan hermosos interiores, paneles maravillosos, se sentía como si pudiera estar en la casa de alguien! Muy recomendable.

Superb afternoon tea with family and friends. Wonderful.elegant surroundings, great service and superb afternoon tea. A birthday, they even sent over a 0 huge chocolate profiterole with a candle in a shoo late covered huge profiterole with a lit candle to the table. A special day in a special, spectacular way. Lovely side street, we had the raspberry and white chocolate croissants they were fabulous, coffee and hot chocolate was good too. So nice we returned on our departure day especially to pick up some freshly made sourdough and rosemary focaccia loaves.

…this place was the least busy so we popped in and really enjoyed the chocolate ice cream, which was cheaper than we were expecting: £3 a scoop. Friendly, quick service too.

I really enjoyed the ambience of the Limpley Stoke Hotel. A little way out of Bath, but so much personality in this gorgeous Georgian building. A special shout out to Chris, who looked after the bar. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome.

Went during the Euro final. Great staff especially the bloke running round picking all the drinks up. Had a nice time. Hope it does well

Originalmente fuimos a tomar una taza de té en la terraza bajo el sol mirando hacia el vertedero. El servicio era bueno y los alrededores limpios. Mientras bebíamos nuestro té estábamos viendo la comida salir a las mesas a nuestro alrededor y el olor era maravilloso! Cedimos en la tentación y tuvimos un par de entrantes. ¡No nos decepcionaron! El sabor era maravilloso. La próxima vez que vayamos a Bath probablemente tendremos una comida completa aquí.

Una fabulosa cafetería independiente y cafetería que sirve comida de estilo sueco y excelentes pasteles caseros. ¡Siéntate mirando la abadía o las salas de bombas en el maravilloso café Bath! El bollo de frambuesa es para morirse.
