Yummy ice cream and nice interior

I am so impressed by the really delicious ice cream and the satisfying portion size that I only buy it here!

So so tasty! I had the walnut and caramalised fig and Raspberry as a due on in a cone! Yum. hey have a small dine in selling coffee, crepes and waffles too.

The best ice cream in South-West England. Very nice service provided by young members of staff Marta and Jao Paulo. I cycle every week from Bristol for ice cream, coffee and pancakes. Strongly recommend to everyone. Robert

Awful customer service. Went with my 2 children. The lady serving me was very rude practically shouting at me whilst taking my order in a rush. She made a mistake and when I corrected her she rolled her eyes and huffed off. When I told her she was being very rude to me and seemed angry she denied it. Then when I went to pay at the till the male member of staff said “charge her £10 say it’s £10” I’m not stupid it basically says the two ice creams should of been £9 in total so they added an extra pound to my bill as if I was the problem and they was getting one over me or something. If I didn’t have my kids with me I would of took it further but I didn’t want to argue in front of them. So disappointed I will never go again the customer service was actually shocking

I have been visiting this place for the past six months, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. The girl with glasses is extremely rude, and the portion sizes have significantly decreased. Overall, I had a very bad experience.

Maybe I chose the wrong flavour but I didn’t love the mango flavour. Oreo would’ve been better. But this is a classic ice cream spot and it’s cheap!

I loved their kinder bueno gelato! It had many kinder bueno pieces. I ate it with their strawberry gelato that is very good but the flavour isn't very strong. The place is also well decorated.

BEST GELATO I HAVE EVER HAD. The door is a bit broken and doesn’t shut properly so if it’s cold remember to shut it when u come in

She should find work in a brothel, not a nice family ice cream shop like this one. Daja - shame on you, please learn that working in a shop is about a smile and service - if not, go home or work somewhere else!

Visited when visiting Bath. It's located near the plaza, so I was able to order easily even as a Japanese person.

Ordered a waffle and cherry gelato. Money well spent.

Went at a quiet time and the gelato was fine but the service, even though they were not at all busy was useless. The male staff member in particular was a complete waste-of-space.

The ice cream caught our attention the moment we stepped outside our bus in bath. The price is reasonable, the ice cream was good. We tried chocolate and amerino cream which was good. The staff are friendly and the store is just located by the Bath Abbey and Roman bath.

First time visit, ordered fresh baked waffles with chocolate ice cream and fresh cream. Waffle came with batter under cook, give feedback to staff, they both said “us like that, and this is how we cook, if cook longer it will burn” No apology at all. Very poor service, will definitely not be back.

Maybe im being a bit stingy here but i cant give it five stars purely because i think they were a little light on choices, i know i can be accused of being greedy but there you go. Taste wise it was lovely and the scoops were large.

Hidden gem in Bath. Delicious Italian ice cream with great flavours, a small at £3 was huge and 2 scoops only £4.50, all in waffle cones. We sat in and staff were v friendly, a great find after our dinner.

Lovely experience today, had a kitkat ice cream whilst I fed my baby. Staff were really helpful when I had to carry him up to the baby change. It was really appreciated. Delicious ice cream, nice atmosphere too.

We always make a stop to the Real Italian Ice Cream Co. when in Bath. Very glad it stays open late, we popped in for a late night ice cream after watching the Krowd Keepers magic show (which is held directly opposite).

Our 'go to' place for an ice cream when we're in the city centre - a good variety of flavours at a reasonable price, plus the option to sit down inside or outside if we're not in a hurry. Sometimes there's quite a queue outside but it moves at pace so we've never had to wait long for an ice cream!

Worse experience I’ve ever had at an ice cream place!!! The man who served me was not clear in his communication at all. I asked him which flavours were vegan and he said lemon and strawberry. So I said I’ll have strawberry and he asked, regular or sorbet? I said regular but clarified, is it dairy free? He said yes! After eating this ice cream (I’m super intolerant to dairy by the way) I started feeling super nauseous and went back to the place and asked that same man if that ice cream had dairy in it. He said it did but denied telling me he had said it was dairy free. He didn’t apologise and didn’t give me my money back. All he did was give me a free bottle of water which I said wouldn’t help with the nausea which usually lasts 24 hours! Terrible service and I am very angry with the way this was dealt with. I am now having to go through my travel insurance to get a prescription for anti nausea pills in a foreign country that I am not familiar with, which will cost me money and time. I wouldn’t go here if you have any intolerances!!!!

Surely no summertime visit to Bath can be ever complete without an ice cream. We had lunched on pizzas and then walked, and window-shopped, for about 45 minutes to end-up here. This ice cream parlour serves a really impressive variety of excellent, made-on-premises, gelatos. It is quite difficult to decide on which to order, but with queues behind you, you really do need to go-for-it, when you are at the head of the queue. My Partner had a single scoop Passion Fruit, and I had a two scoop; one Chocolate and one Raspberry. There is very limited seating here and no outside street patio (shame), so we stood around and ate rather than walking and eating. My Partner loved the texture, but the ice cream favour was too delicate and that wasn’t expected, so she was a bit disappointed. The flavours of my chosen ice cream were excellent with the raspberry particularly-so; being strong and slightly tart as I would have expected. The chocolate was also well flavoured, but I would have liked it to be a little less sweet; ideally the taste would have leaned towards a dark chocolate. Other than the above observations we enjoyed what we ate.

My family of three each got two scoops: fior di latte and passion fruit, fior di latte and walnut with caramelized fig, oreo and caramel. We all enjoyed our tasty dessert.

The staff was unfriendly and unpleasant during our visit. The portions were also very small. We got three scoops each but in total it was like having one scoop of ice cream in total. Not a worth of a visit

The ice cream is delicious but the service wasn't great. It's a small shop and we couldn't see a list of flavours so had to wait until the people in front moved out of the way (stood covering the glass case as they were). The moment they moved we were asked for our order and I felt quite rushed as the people behind us were wanting to move up. I repeated the order twice, using my hands to be very clear I wanted two ice creams, one of this flavour and one of that. She still tried to give me one with two scoops. This meant she'd smeared the second all over the first by the time she heard me saying no (by then almost shouting to correct the mistake). She then scooped the first scoop out and back into the tray, including the large smear of the second flavour. She got a smaller cone and put the previous scoop in it so it was a mix of both flavours. Mine was fine but my partner's was mixed. It just seems there are a lot of small things they could do to make it simpler for everyone.

I'm Coeliac and asked politely if they have any gluten free flavours because no allergy or ingredients information was displayed. I got a pretty surly and unhelpful response. It was two words, 'lemon sorbet', that was it, in 2023. Could do much better. The ice creams my companions had were of pretty variable quality too. Disappointing. Maybe serving the tourist trade so don't have to try that hard.

Even though it was in late in the day, the staff after what must of been a hot busy afternoon all had smiles on their faces. What a credit the young (ukranian?) Is to the Real Italian. Will definitely be back!

Delicious! Tried a double scoop of apricot and raspberry. Lovely ladies serving, pleasant and the queue was fast so we had time to meet with our bus group.

This place is so good. We actually bought ice cream from another place in Bath and it was horrible so we stopped in here. The gelato was the real deal. I've been to gelato shops all over the world and this one is definitely top 5. My son enjoyed the vanilla in a cup and I had mint in a cone. Absolutely delicious! Staff is friendly, prices are fair and dress is casual.

It’s not even close to Italian. Just basic bulky ice-cream, too sweet, of quite a chemical flavour and color

Icecream was too soft to look safe. Only one choice of Vegan icecream. Cones are not vegan either. Limited flavours for non vegan people either. Expensive and service was not with a smile so I would not go again and there are better places to buy icecream in Bath then this one. .

The ice cream was very tasty. The portion was also okay. However, I found the staff unfriendly and understaffed. Had to wait very long because only one worker was there at the beginning. Nevertheless, I give the 5 stars, because I think that the staff can develop well in a good short time.

Price is very decent and they have a number of flavours to choose from. Service was very good too.

This is the worst ice cream I have ever tried and tasted in my life also there is one girl there on 16/3/2023 in the morning and she was very rude really I don’t recommend this place to anyone

I’m not sure if they have new owners, as there has been a lovely redecoatation. I live in Bath and always come here after being out for dinner but this time the service was awful. We weren’t welcomed when we walked in, the gentleman ignored us and let us wait. We could see he was on his own and was making a waffle but not even a hello, or I’ll be with you in a minute. He was on his own but there was only 2 other people in the store. When he had finished everything and came over there wasn’t an apology or a thank you for waiting just a what would you like. He then huffed and puffed around making our ice cream. He may have been having a hard day or struggling on his own if that’s the case I would have put sold out on the waffles sign to have made it easier that night. Coming from someone who has always supported this place it’s a shame, I’m disappointed in the service. Word of mouth is free and I have always bought friends, family here but sadly I’m not thinking of trying different ice cream parlours from now on

A lovely day in Bath should have an ice cream…..and we did! We were happy to queue for a few minutes in the school half term to try this lovely ice cream. We chose the two scoop option for an amazing value of £4 each and, wow, such a huge ice cream. Coconut with passion fruit made a refreshing cone, we also had banana with peach, another tasty treat. How on earth does anyone do the 5 scoops for £7?

Visited this lovely place and was instantly welcomed welcomed by the staff. The place was nice and cosy and the Lotus Biscof crepe was out of this world.

I came here for the gelato because it seems that’s what they are known for. It was delicious. The staff was kind enough to allow me to try a couple of flavors first before making my final decision. They do take credit card payments now as well. When I come back to bath I’ll definitely be visiting here again. I got the dulce de leche and cream. Can’t go wrong with that combination.

Paid £7 for the 'Nutty for you' - an undercooked waffle with little to no Nutella and not even half a scoop of ice cream... had to throw it all away

How is it possible to come into a store laughing and enjoying your evening with your friends, when it is even raining, and within 1 minute the person at the till, last night, ruined your next 20 minutes. We walked in and their grunt as a welcome was as if we disturbed them for coming for ice cream. I personally could not find any flavor with the catch of my eye that I like. Asked if there was Pistachio, grunt again, only what's here (or something like that) is what I heard. I asked for a 3rd small spoon of tasting and was rudely stated only 2 per person but I was given a 3rd. I offered to pay more at the till for the major steal I just performed in broad daylight but got another grunt. Long story short, the person needs to be trained again? I will not visit again this place. Plus it was very dirty for a slow night. Oh, I didn't even get what I ordered. I asked for mango and vanilla. Only got vanilla x2! Btw, the ice cream was good. Not like in Rome, but good.

Having breakfast here was like breakfasting in heaven. Delicious pancakes and crispy waffles was best start of a day. And absolutely unique gellato for desert was an ultimate sin.

The ice cream was delightful and yummy and served with friendly smiles. The ice cream is made on sight and is amazing. Staff were knowledgeable and passionate and took time to answer questions. If you love ice cream this is a must place to visit.

A wide variety of delicious flavours, good value for money. We were served by Marta and Alisha who were very friendly. Enjoyed it so much we went back again the following day.
