Had a wonderful meal to celebrate our Silver Wedding anniversary. I asked for a window seat which was lovely and we had great service from Wiki. Lovely food, overall a really nice experience.

The whole experience from the welcome to the goodbye was phenomenal. We had starters, mains and desserts and each one was unbelievable. We was served by Fabio who is amazing, so welcoming, full of life and made our whole experience memorable. Will definitely be visiting again when we are back in the area!

We loved our meal at Ponte Vecchio! The most wonderful service from our waitress Tess, and we also met the owner who was lovely. I had the seafood risotto and it was 10/10! Please check out this restaurant if you’re visiting Bath, you won’t regret it!😊

I booked the restaurant for my partners birthday lunch. It has a lovely view of Pulteney bridge, and the weir. My partner is a coeliac so the there are very specific needs which they supported perfectly with a range of options. The food was lovely, and service spot on. I would thuroughly recommend going here. As it was her birthday they even brought out a special pudding, which was a lovely touch! Its amazing how that little extra touch goes a long way to making the experience special.

We were in Bath a couple of weeks ago, came across this place and they kindly squeezed us in, lovely atmosphere and WARM inside!!! Was bliss. The host was so welcoming and that Italian friendliness that makes you feel like part of the family - I'm sure it would be a regular haunt if we were local. As well as all this, most importantly the food was delicious, really really lovely. I would say as somebody that loves my food and as a veggie, my beetroot pasta could have been a little bigger portion wise, but otherwise we were a very happy family and that's including 2 very fussy eating kids! Thank you :)

A short trip to bath with the kids and I’m so glad we chose to eat here after having had a few recommendations. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Certainly the best Italian food I have eaten in the UK with great service and ambience also. I now need an excuse to go back to Bath so I can eat here again!

Overwhelming experience! All the staff were extremely friendly and communicative - certainly enjoyed the conversations and how open they were. Food was marvellous, literally spot on. If you’re looking for an authentic italian restaurant, with a proper italian feeling, this place will definitely fulfil your needs.

We went away for a couple of days but hadn't made a reservation, so we had to sit downstairs. Nonetheless, the food, service and atmosphere were second to none, and we just can't wait until the day when we can return again.

We went for Saturday night dinner. The food was absolutely incredible as well as staff & ambience being excellent! The menu was great - super condensed in comparison to various other Italian places. It was super digest-able / not overwhelming to get through. Would revisit.

Lovely warm welcome on a cold night, staff helpful and friendly with children. Great food, we all enjoyed even my hard-to-please 9 year old grandson. Next time we're in Bath for a weekend we'll definitely be coming back here!

My husband and I were in Bath for a day trip for our anniversary. We had done our research on local restaurants with gluten free options and were excited to try Ponte Vecchio. We were definitely not disappointed! We started with the king prawn appetizer and foccacia (hubs said it was delicious)! The prawns were seasoned and grilled to perfection and served with a lime mayonnaise. For mains, we had the Risotto Zucca & Salsiccia and Ragu D'Agnello with GF pasta. Both were perfectly prepared and exceeded our expectations. The Risotto was creamy, silky, and flavorful. The lamb in the ragu was melt in your mouth tender. Highly recommend and hope to visit again sometime in the future when we can sot outside and enjoy the view while listening to the water of River Avon flowing under Pulteney Bridge.

We try to dine at Ponte Vecchio every time we are in Bath. With no exception, we had lunch here before we left Bath. Everything was excellent except for the special - the squid ink risotto with lobster. The risotto was not as flavourful as I had expected. It was a little bland. Thanks for Fabio (or Fazio?) for his excellent service.

We had lunch at the Ponte Vecchio on a weekend in Bath. Lovely restaurant, helpful, efficient and friendly staff (Fabio). I had the special, porcini filled Tortellini in a Parmesan fondue and white Bolognese. My wife had the seafood tagliatelle and we shared a stunning homemade tiramisu. Great value for money, lovely setting, wonderful food.

Not often would any establishment get 5 stars, but this place is a must for anyone visiting Bath. Dani and Fabio attended to us like old friends and the food, from starters to mains were fantastic. The views are also terrific from the restaurant. This was like stepping into Italy, with Italian hospitality and genuine great tasting dishes.

We had a wonderful celebratory meal here for my graduation and my uncle's birthday. The staff were amazingly friendly, welcoming and warm. Fabbi paid special attention to ensuring my aunty's dry martini was perfectly to her taste and Tess offered us all free shots of limoncello as it was a celebration. They even had the whole restaurant singing happy birthday which made it feel extra special. The food was wonderful too. Thank you to everyone for such authentically warm Italian hospitality!

Went to Ponte Vecchio a few weeks ago, it certainly didn't disappoint. I took my girlfriend to have dinner here and would highly recommend as the food is delicious. My girlfriend and I shared Focaccia and gamberoni as starters followed by lasagna and porchetta for main courses. To finish it off, we both ordered Tiramisu. Service was excellent from India and Beau.

Had my birthday dinner with my friend here, it was such an amazing experience that everyone is so nice, serving is perfect, India and wiktoria were being very generous and sing a birthday song for us. Also it is so kind to add decorations in my cake haha! The food was 20 out 10!!! I was wordless because it was my first lasagna but I can tell they take every detail of the food carefully which makes it sooo delicious! Thank you for everyone who gave me such a wonderful experience in here as a person who is away from home and I felt like home today with the warm services. I wish you all the best and marry Christmas!

I came with my partner for dinner, it is located in a beautiful place. We ordered the venison and cuttlefish pasta, the food was incredibly good, the portions were generous. For dessert we ordered the cannolo cheesecake and the panacota, they were exquisite, the cheesecake was highly recommended. Attentive, friendly service. A wonderful experience, we highly recommend it and we will definitely return. 10/10

Came as a group of 6, Food was incredible, staff was incredible damn near all were Italian which was amazing. The head chef(I think) was the best and was telling us stories from his past in Italy all around just a great place.

The only regret I have is that we didn't come here every night we'd stayed in Bath. Excellent food, Wine and service. We got here half an hour before our booking but they were very accommodating and gave us a choice of two tables. My partner had the lasagne and she said it was delicious. I had the Bruchetta starter, a big bowl of pasta with prawns and a panna cotta desert.. because it was my birthday. All of which were perfect. Thank you Fabi and Alex, you were great. Highly recommend this restaurant and if we find ourselves in Bath again in the future, we shall be returning.

Have to share - booked a table based on the reviews, and wow! Make sure to say yes to the olives, they’re served with small lime and lemon wedges that make such a difference. We then had the focaccia and the smoothest burrata we’ve ever tasted, the squid ink pasta and seafood risotto, finished off with the caprese cake and tiramisu. We’ll definitely be coming back - not only is the food incredible, but Fabio and Melody took such good care of us. Our table overlooked the Pulteney bridge as well! Perfect romantic evening out!

Restaurant in an idyllic riverside location in the center of Bath. Without a doubt the best thing about the restaurant, its food. Everything we ordered from the starters to the dessert was very good. The service is where the restaurant limps, it may be that it was a coincidence that the staff who served us had bad luck and little experience but the Spanish waitress who works there ended up saving the furniture by doing an impeccable job, very attentive and helpful. The pistachio mouse for dessert is undoubtedly the best. In terms of quality-price, it is more expensive than the quality and service of a restaurant of those characteristics anywhere else.

Beautiful dinner spot and location is pretty to walk by the river upon arriving. Waiters were so friendly and welcoming making our time very pleasant. The squid ink pasta with prawns was extremely yummy, as well as the seafood pasta that my partner and I shared. We enjoyed our time and will return on our next trip to bath. Many thanks Emily

We’re from an Italian family and this is the best Italian food we have discovered in the UK. Fantastic service each time. Fabio recognizes us each time and treats us like royalty. Restaurant has great views right on the water too! We always book this place ahead of time to secure a table any time we’re in bath. I can't recommend this restaurant enough, the food is excellent. Also, Theo, our waiter for the evening was exceptional.

I dined at the Ponte Vecchio in early November. We had a delicious meal. The service was excellent, Theo in particular was attentive, charming and impeccably smart.

We visited in the last week of October, my partner a gluten allergy but unfortunately the service we received was unacceptable. The waiter asked if my partner had a EpiPen and my partner explained it’s not that type of allergy. He then rudely responded that it wasn’t an allergy and didn’t seem to take it seriously at all which made us both very uncomfortable. Despite this conversation when our food turned up it was clear it wasn’t gluten free. When he came to apologise he said he had a lot on covering other people and forgot which seems unlikely when we had the conversation that we did. After all of this we asked to speak to the manager but they never came to speak to us. Certainly wouldn’t recommend for anyone with a gluten allergy.
