Delicious pizzas, a little soft in the middle, the edges were very crispy.

Raul was amazing, so nice, funny, he really made it an experience, they are very lucky to have him as the general manager.

We went to eat and it was great. The waiter was super friendly and the service was fast. There is a terrace and interior living room. Great pizzas, quality ingredients. The Neapolitan style dough in a wood oven. We have tried the margarita, the amatriciana and one of the specials. We ordered 4 pizzas and drinks for £68, we were 4 people. Highly recommended.

You need a reservation! We got lucky walking in as soon as they opened but they are a popular spot! Nice inside and on the patio. Gluten free options.

I didn’t get to try the food but they had great drinks and AMAZING music so that’s enough for me. To find somewhere in Bath playing recent and TRENDING Afrobeats and Amapiano was such a pleasant surprise. A great place to finish my weekend break. Very lovely staff and service too, you’re all appreciated.

Not the nicest first experience here. One really rude customer spoke to us. Servers were nice. Pizza was okay in taste but a little burned. Not totally blown away.

Im a pizza lover and when i seen this place i was really excited to try it. Im was so disappointed. The pizza tasted awful. It was soggy and the taste was horrible. I really wasn’t happy bot for the price i paid. I have had better pizza from a Kebab Shop. Would not recommend this place.

Been eating Neapolitan pizzas (margherita) recently in the south west and London and this was the best Neapolitan pizza I've had so far - will be very tough to beat. The cornicione was how it should be for a Neapolitan pizza - real skilled Pizzaiolo(s) works here! Highly recommended place for Neapolitan pizza.

Seriously might just be one of the best pizza I have ever had in the UK. The pizza are perfectly cooked not too thin not too thick, with a slight charred taste to it. Whilst I am not usually a big fan of the crust of a pizza, the crust here is amazing! It’s airy and light, not dense at all! All the flavours that we have tried we’re all superb, but we would definitely recommend their signature pizza, the ‘Cotto ham, nduja. Creamed walnuts, fig jam and basil’ one for a unique pizza experience, as it is their specialty.

The food was lovely, had lots of options and the seating outside was still nice and warm. The quality of the food was great but the price is very reasonable

Great place, the staff were really welcoming and efficient. We popped in here for a pre show meal. The focaccia was spot on and the pizza delicious. This was easily enough for the two of us.

We dropped in Saturday lunchtime. Had a quick and excellent meal of 2 pizzas and a lovely goat cheese sálat. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. Service was seamless and the prices reasonable.

Review in Feb 2024: Visited again. All still great. Pizzas taste amazing. Review in the past: We were visiting Bath for the day and we choose to have Lunch at The Oven. Staff were extremely kind, and they were definitely working their as* off. They were serving all tables constantly without any break between them, big thank you to the hard working staff. Food was extremely tasty, full of flavours and definitely as fresh as possible since they come out the oven seconds before they reach your table. Portions and Price were definitely reasonable too, you want leave hungry. Great service, Amazing Food.

We enjoyed an excellent pizza here for Valentine’s Day. The staff were busy and food took a while but worth the wait. We would recommend and definitely go back!

The salmon salad was drenched in oil (not necessarily olive) and so very bland. The onions were oily and cold and a minimal amount of salmon. My experience from dining in Italy and Italian restaurants is to have oil and vinegar on the side to be used to my own liking. There was no salt or pepper on the table to add even a touch of taste. The atmosphere was good and set up high expectations. The salad affair was unfortunate.

Fantastic place to eat. Great food, friendly staff and overall a nice atmosphere. Wide range on their menu and we felt it was well priced. I would recommend anyone in the area to try this place.

Was rudely turned away by a young lady, because I didn't have a reservation, despite the restaurant being over 3/4 empty at early evening? I assume they simply didn't want to work and would rather carry on with their group-wide conversation. Young Kids running the place; have no idea or even seem to care. Shame.

This is a fantastic place to go to eat. My wife and I went here for Pizza and TBH it's probably the best pizza I've ever had. The Atmosphere is grate and everyone that works here works extremely hard. The Ovan man is a true professional paying attention to the fine detail in making a pizza. Raul our server looked after us very well. The price what you pay is more than reasonable for the quality you get. So to the whole Team, when we travel back to Bath from Lancashire we will call again for another fantastic meal.

Wait staff almost non existent. My group of three was ignored for about 20 minutes when we first arrived until we left the waiting area and walked right up to someone to where they couldn’t ignore us. We were told there were no open spaces inside even though the restaurant wasn’t even half full. We thought there were reservations, but when we were seated outside we were seated close enough to the host that we could hear that he seemingly picked and chose at random who to give seating inside versus outside. Pizza was OK, but definitely doesn’t deserve the “award winning” title they put on everything. One of my group got a pizza without meat, but due to how they cooked the pizzas she was able to taste the meat flavor all over her pizza, so beware if you order something with no meat; you may end up with some anyways.

Non commento il cibo perchè non l’ho mangiato, ma con il ristorante totalmente vuoto, alle 12:20 di un giorno in settimana, ci hanno detto di avere tutti i tavoli prenotati e che la prima disponibilità era alle 14:30. Gli abbiamo anche detto che eravamo in partenza e che avremmo fatto in fretta ma niente. Siamo andati a mangiare in un altro posto dove siamo stati benissimo e quando siamo usciti i tavoli da loro erano ancora vuoti. Peccato perchè questa tutto è tranne che accoglienza italiana!

This place is a truly hidden gem in all UK where you can try the best Italian pizza 🍕 🤌🥰. Authentic staff, authentic pizza ingredients! Our choice was nr.25 Black truffle base with a porcini😋, I can’t describe how good it was🥰. I wish they would do a delivery to London 😅.

After reading the reviews and seeing it's award winning, we went for lunch. But the taste was not at all award winning or even worth the spend. One of the tasteless pizza, I have ever had. Also, they do not have chilli oil or salt/pepper on the table to bring in some taste, It's very annoying to ask for it.

Fantastic pizza. Really really good. Quality was excellent. Would definitely go back. Staff loudly socialising between themselves but it didn’t put us off. Small bottles of beer were expensive. Definitely recommend if you like a decent pizza.

We did not end up eating here, but we really appreciated their clarity on the safety of their gluten free pizzas for people with coeliac disease. As in many other places that serve artisan pizzas, they did explain that there's flour all over the kitchen and the risk of cross contamination is extremely high, even if just having a salad. So we left, hungry but happy they prioritized our safety over getting some extra business in. I would however wish they changed the wording in their menu from "gluten free" to "non gluten containing ingredients", for clarity and not to mislead any potential customers.

The best pizza outside of Rome I’ve ever eaten! Speedy lunchtime service, the red wine was served at a perfect temperature. The cannolo and tiramisu were both faultless. All in all quite an experience.

We didn't book, it was a Wednesday night and quite early, but already crowded. Despite this, the service was prompt and courteous, the wine good and our pizzas excellent. Recommended.

Went here a couple of nights ago whilst in Bath for a short break.We hadn't planned on having pizza but we're drawn in by the look of the food through the window.Food was amazing, huge pizzas with z variety of quality toppings and beautiful crust probably the best pizza I have ever had ( and I've eaten lot ) x lovely staff and excellent service, Well done just wish we had one near home

We needed something quick and visited around 6pm - the vibe was perfect; old school classics playing in the background and the oven itself is a beautiful beast of a cavern to cook wood fired pizza. We both went for calzone which was so huge that it overlapped a generous size plate, with a pleasant tomato salad on the side. Service was quick and charming; drinks were ordered and served promptly- for dessert we had a block of tiramisu that was awesome, I think it was with egg whites and was as light as it was generous All in all it is a fantastic meal with great staff and ambience; all the pizzas they brought out looked awesome- enjoy

Average pizza, slightly rude service

I enjoyed a delightful dining experience at this pizza restaurant! The Margherita pizza was freshly baked, incredibly tasty, and the Tiramisu was the best I've had. Just be mindful of an optional service hidden fee that surprised me when the bill arrived.

Best pizza in Bath but slowish service for automatic 10% service charge

Angelo and the team were fantastic, some of the best pizza I’ve ever had with quality service. Would highly recommend coming here for either light snack or a full on dinner, I went with my partner and we had starter, main and dessert and everything was amazing! Especially the tiramisu 😍 will be coming back very soon!!

We were on vacation in England for the first time and just happened upon this wonderful restaurant with fabulous meals and excellent service while visiting Bath! The pizza was supremely delicious, so much so that we returned the following evening for more! The toppings tasted fresh and the dough was perfection! The entire staff from cooks to servers to hosts were outstanding!

Great staff! Very dog friendly, lots of fussing over our Weimaraner (which he loves). Fantastic pizzas! We had the Carbonara and full meat - both tasted great! Will 100% return next time we visit Bath.

On a recent trip to Bath we arrived on a late Sunday night train from London and wanted a simple but satisfying dinner. It’s primarily a student destination in the evening (we arrived around 830 pm on a Sunday). The pizza was decent with a nice crust (New York style) but the wine is definitely overpriced. The hostile and unfriendly attitude of the host/server was a negative in a half empty place and very different from our experience in London where everyone at restaurants were welcoming and friendly regardless of price point. Hey there Oven: we know Bath gets many foreign tourists but even they deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, right? I suspect this place gets so much student business that they don’t care about visitors. There are lots of great restaurants in Bath so why not spend your money in a place that is friendly and welcoming. We won’t come back from n a future trip.

We went to the restaurant on the recommendation of some friends and they were right! the pizzas were delicious, they had flavour, the dough was crispy and thin with a lot of variety for vegetarians and vegans. The staff was amazing, very kind. We followed their recommendations on what to order and everything was fantastic. We will return and recommend it without hesitation.

Amazing service and pizzas, we had no reservation. It was lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the scenery even in October- under the heat lamp. We designed our own pizza and they were absolutely gorgeous! Would definitely visit again!

We were three people. 2 people didn’t wanted to have food. Have ordered one pizza. Waiter told us we don’t accept one pizza for 3 person. So we had to order 2 pizza. And on top of that pizza was no good at all. We had to throw out pizza from our mouth. 0/10

Please avoid if you are gluten free! It was honestly the worst gf pizza we have ever had, it was like a store brought base that was given to us somehow burnt and undercooked at the same time. The regular pizzas looked lovely, however ours was really awful. On top of that the service was really poor, we waited along time for a waiter to come over, we asked someone if they would help us as there were 4 people just stood around at the till, he said he would come over and then never did, when we were served, nothing was explained to us about the cross contamination in the kitchen and enquires into our allergy did not happen which lead us to believe it would be safe to eat - however we are now really unwell the day after and it has ruined our trip to bath. Neither of us have ever complained in a restaurant before, but we did this time, to be told flour is ‘thrown round the kitchen’ by the waitress, which we explained if we had known about this we would not have eaten at the restaurant. The manager was kind enough to take off one of the pizzas from the bill, however the damage has sadly now been done. Please educate your staff better on coeliacs disease, make your own dough/better bases like other restaurants or stop offering gluten free pizzas all together.

Food was good and a great atmosphere and service

The pizza is incredibly good. The crust is thin and nicely charred. There were a lot to choose from but we had the Margherita. The salad with goat cheese and beets was hands down the best salads I’ve ever had! And I know salads! The waiter forgot to give us a menu so wait was longer. Overall, food was delicious! I don’t care much about the atmosphere and service as we went to eat good pizza!

So disappointed this time, memories spoilt. Ordered a San Daniele pizza with rocket salad, know the one? Well, it was so soggy, just like one of the other reviewers comments. Italian authentic pizza? You're getting this fundamentally wrong. You shouldn't serve it so soggy. I Left half of it on the plate. Tinned porcini added, they were like wet slugs. In italy its proper fresh ones and they dont ever make soggy pizzas. Im sure its an italian run venue??? They spoke italian. A huge volume of soggy vine tomatoes thrown on it...... like where has this come from?? Sauce base AND soggy tomatoes? What made me laugh was this knowledgeable waitress. Apparently the pizzas change..looked like the same description to me from 2 weeks ago or so! Nonetheless, it's a poor excuse for a poor piece of food for the price quoted. Apparently, the more toppings the more watery it gets. Well, I'll learn for next time?...... Shame we can't get a refund or a remake when the pizza isn't upto scratch. Why should we pay for a disappointing pizza? So so sad.

Dropped by for a couple of takeaway pizzas on Bath half marathon day. Wouldn’t serve me because they had ‘run out of boxes’. Felt like a bit of a lame excuse on a very busy Sunday and we were looking fwd to having the pizza for dinner, as we live 90 miles away these days.

Loved our meal here. My goat cheese salad was delicious and the portions were very generous.

The pizzas were delicious and the staff was extremelly friendly and helpful. I recommend the profiteroles foe dessert.

This is a great place! We stopped in last night for a late dinner after the Therme Bath. We had 2 of the Bruschetta and the Cotto Ham pizza. It was all delicious! The crust is thin but very traditional. Great patio area also.

The food here is fresh and tasty, we tried a calzone and 2 bruschettas. I enjoyed the salmon and goats cheese is delicious. The staff here were friendly, the food came out reasonably fast. They have a good selection of wines.

I came to Bath recently, for the first time, on a mini little break before starting at the University part time. I did my research before travelling and saw great reviews for The Oven, so booked myself a table for one! Upon arrival I was politely greeted and taken to my seat, a lovely spot by the window for some people watching! I was given ample time to make my selection and attended to swiftly, where I ordered the Margherita. This was whipped up quickly, and it was amazing to watch the chefs in work with the open kitchen! The pizza was piping hot and looked great - the flavour did not disappoint either! The dough was perfectly cooked for me with slightly blistered edges, there was an ample amount of cheese which had a lovely flavour, and the tomato sauce was a good balance in terms of sweetness (though I felt there could have been a little more by the edges!). Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend and will be returning to The Oven for some authentic Italian neapolitan pizza 🍕

The menu has changed and the ore authentic Italian pizzas are gone. Very rich, not quite sure why they used certain very creamy cheese ingredients. Service slow but they were solid overall, and the location good.

Really awesome pizza, great service + friendly staff, they make an excellent coffee and the atmosphere is perfect. Very clean, good prices, just an overall great place to eat
