The Oven is a fantastic spot! We had a great time during our 3-day vacation and even went there twice because we loved it so much. The pizza was excellent, the wine selection was really good, and the service was always friendly. Highly recommended if you're looking for a welcoming place with delicious food and a great atmosphere.

A True Gem in the heart of Bath. The oven’s pizza is absolutely superb. Truly authentic old Italian style. The passion with which Chef Salvatore, Gaetano and all the rest of their staff greets and welcome their client is unmatched. The passion that they put in to make everyone feel welcome, clearly transpires since stepping in. It does truly feel like being home despite being far away. Bravi!

Overall if you want pizza this place does what it say on the tin. Staff were friendly enough but wouldn't say I agreed with the automatic service charge this isn't just something I've noticed at this restaurant seems common in bath I like the option to say yes or no, not feel I have to ask for it to be taken off my bill.

Visiting Bath and found out that the best pizzas in Bath are here at The Owen.. so me and the wife and her daughter went there.. And that's right, we were very pleased on Tuesday... We were also at Vino Vino which is next door and belongs to The Oven Super nice staff at both locations ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Superb and authentic Neapolitan pizza! Pizzas came out quickly and were delicious, I particularly recommend the Quattro Formaggi which was one of the best I've had! Staff were friendly too and the music playlist was awesome too. Good prices, well worth visiting if you're in Bath!

Expensive coming even from a Bristol point of view, but you get what you pay for. If you just want good pizza, there are cheaper places that would suit your needs, but the Oven offers more

Seen an online food reviewer come here and rated it, then a friend of mine did and also rated it, so I had to come and try it myself. Spoilt for choice with pizza in Bristol, however, this is better than any pizza I’ve had in Bristol so far. Service was great too. Will definitely come here again.

Last Thursday 6pm, food was good, but sorry to say the service was poor - they took my plate away while I was eating I still had a fork in my hand. We won't go back

My partner and I had selected this restaurant because of Gluten Free reviews. Service and setting were lovely (music was great and the place was welcoming and lively). Unfortunately, her pizza used pre-made dough and was overcooked, which really put a damper on her enthusiasm. Mine (not gluten-free) was delicious and I wholeheartedly recommend the non gluten-free options, but if you are celiac, there likely are better options for you in Bath.

The most tasteless bland pizza I've ever had .ordered the chicken avocado and pepper .I could not ear it the base had very little cheese or tomatoes just a very soggy base .

We enjoyed a tasty pizza and salad washed down with a lovely red wine after having a rather upsetting day being evacuated from a local hotel due to flooding. The lovely person that looked after us went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meal.

Ate here last night. Firstly my pizza was great but My wife ordered the gluten free pizza base expecting it to be freshly prepared. What she got was a base that was obviously not fresh. Was that hard it would have broken the window And as dry as you could imagine. As it was getting late my wife just ate as much as she could. Honestly looked like she was doing a bush tucker trial. We complained to the waitress when collecting the plates. When paying the bill we were still charged for this rubbish full price to my disgust. If the gluten free pizza is this bad it must be removed immediately!!

I had dinner with my granddaughter and my wife on Saturday, November 23 and we loved it. The place served us wonderfully and we had some pizzas that were delicious, especially Alvaro, a Spanish man from Cartagena, served us well. We will return and we recommend it.

From the moment we arrived at the Oven pizzeria, Chef Salvatore from Puglia made us feel incredibly welcome with his warm and friendly demeanor. His professionalism shone through as he expertly guided us through the pizza selection. My partner's choice of truffle and burrata with Pachino tomatoes was nothing short of stunning—truly a dish that rivals even the best in Rome. I opted for the margherita, which boasted superb flavor. The ambiance was perfect, with soft lighting and gentle music enhancing our experience. Every staff member was fantastic, making our visit unforgettable. Thank you, Salvatore, for this wonderful culinary journey! We couldn't expect more.

Food was very delicious , do really recommend the award winning pizza, something different and tasty. And also got a very good service from Delia who was very kind and helpful. Will come back for sure the next time I come to Bath

We popped in for lunch. We had a calazone and margarita pizza. We enjoyed our lunch and would return again. Chefs was singing in Italian, which was nice. Always a nicer atmosphere and pizza than the big brands. Tastes better too.

I can honestly say the pizzas we ordered were the most disgusting pizzas we ever had. The bacon was over salty and mine, the carbonara was extremely greasy. Nothing special about this place and the pizza. They are trying hard to be original but a fail for us.

Ate here with my wife on Sunday, 13 October. A fantastic wee venue. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The pizzas were large and very good quality. We did not feel rushed. Very reasonably priced. A great atmosphere and the little chef in the kitchen had me laughing with his antics. Highly recommend if you like pizza done well and with some very imaginative choices.

Decent pizza but should avoid if you have a peanut or nut allergy - not worth the risk. My partner told the server she has an allergy to peanuts and nuts, he reassured her it's all good and this will be accomodated, but he did not mention their literal name (the oven) would not be cleaned/wiped prior to cooking, so obviously there was cross contamination. She had a bad reaction. The server was probably unaware of the oven possibility but regardless should've done better due diligence to ensure her allergy could be accommodated or at least discouraged her from getting the pizza altogether. My suggestion for those with nut or peanut allergies is to avoid the risk here because of their nutty ingredients (which are great if you have no allergies), and instead choose the nearby "The Dough" because they have no nuts in their pizzas.

Called in ‘The Oven’ on our first day in Bath. Both loved our pizzas (no 13 and 14 on menu). Beautiful crust - fillings tasted amazing and just the right amount. Friendly and efficient staff and pizzas a good price. Renewed our faith in pizza.

The best pizza I’ve ever had in the UK. Pizza was delivered very quickly (maybe 10 mins), despite the fact the restaurant was busy. I would recommend booking a table. We needed to sit outside, because we didn’t have a booking (but they have outside heaters). The prices were comparable to other pizzerias. I highly recommend it!

One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. They are made in a wood oven and it shows. The tiramisu, delicious. And the waiters are very nice.

Legitimately award winning pizza

We chosed this restaurant randomly and were truly amazed by how delicious the pizza were. We ordered the award winning pizza (#17 on the menu card, the figs jam just nailed it!!!) and the normal pizza with Sicilian sausage, mushrooms, parmesan cream and pistachios (#15 on the menu card, the pistachios left a unique creaminess and nuttiness!!!). We also had green olives and meatballs in tomato sauce as appetisers. A picture is worth a thousand words because we are just out of words. Try it yourself and let yourself indulge in the amazing food fresh from the Oven.

It was the only thing open. Pizza crust was great but absolutely no sauce at all and when I asked for additional sauce, I was given a bowl of canned tomato sauce with no taste and charge extra for it and Service was very slow. I don’t know if it’s because I was solo diner.

Pizzeria with wood oven but compared to two years ago, when I was in Bath, it has changed. The pizza is a little burnt, chewy and spongy. Honestly, it's not of the same quality. Even the starters offered on the menu don't have the same variety as before. Friendly and efficient Spanish staff.

What a lovely setting right in a little square in downtown Bath. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, heating for when it chills down a bit. Fairly could be a selection, outstanding food and outstanding service.

Travel delays led to picking out a random venue for food and a drink, place was one of the most popular on a busy high street Staff all exceptional, friendly and attentive but not even close to overbearing Pizza is one of the best I've had in at least the last 5 years. Flavour and freshness of ingredients with the 10/10 dough and crust Balanced selection of wine, which even has pictures of bottle on menus and description of each one Casual and relaxed spot with some of the best pizza wine combos you could ask for

Delicious pizza although the dough (on the edges) was tiny little bit burnt (which I didn’t really mind but my other half did but he ate it anyway) however generally I haven’t had a better pizza even in Italy guys so … totally recommend this place. Staff accommodating too. I had the one with ‘guanciale’ 😋

Eaten pizza in a lot of places, all over the globe. This is the best. No doubt. At a really good price too. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere exclusive, the decoration amazing and facilities superb. Even the left overs tasted amazing the day after! Couldn’t ask for more.

The service was terrible; Sloe, neglected and felt transactional. No etiquette or warmth towards us as a customer. Multiple tables got served before us and we got charged for extras that we were told were apart of the pizza price. Overall a very disappointing experience, especially when it was recommended by the locals of Bath.

After a week's holiday in the UK we were craving real Italian food. We saw this pizzeria while walking around Bath, and the pizzas on customers' plates looked very good and attractive. Still a great place to grab an excellent pizza. Indeed, the pizzas are potentially my favourite in Bath. We came here recently for a pre-theatre meal; service was friendly and relatively attentive once it began. However, a few quibbles; the cheapest bottle of red wine is £32 which is pretty expensive for what it is. We also tried the bruschetta which was fine, but this is basically toppings on thin toast rather than a traditional crusty bread. Would I go back - yes, but I'd probably opt to stick to the pizzas and have beer instead of wine.

Mit Hunger und ohne Erwartungen in die Pizzaria. Mitten im Tourismus Zentrum von Bath. Personal gut und freundlich. Aber die Pizza war mega lecker! Da merkt man dass die Pizzaiolos aus Italien kommen. Lecker!!! Frisch aus dem Holzofen mit frischem Basilikum. Nur das 200ml Cola fläschen sah etwas härzig aus :)

I'm from Italy and this is one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten!! The service was also excellent, I was in a hurry and asked to be served quickly and they've been extremely fast, I really appreciated it. The prices are also perfectly fair

Pizza was Quick to come out,our waitress Clemmie was lovely, starter was burnt, when we asked the other bearded waiter who brought the food out for bread that wasn't burnt, it was refused saying "its woodfired, thats how it is". Bread was literally black! I mean come on!! Ladies on table next to us also laughed at how rude the guy was. Very expensive , pizza was ok, nothing special... Wont go again

We stopped here to celebrate my partners birthday. I had the san Danielle (cured ham) rocket etc. and my partner had nduja pizza. Both pizzas were really tasty with a great base. My pizza was stacked with toppings. We sat outside which was nice to see the world go by. Thoroughly recommend these pizzas.

Fantastic pizza. The best! The pizza was slow to arrive, just like a proper Italian pizzeria. Because of the delay, we were offered a free glass of wine and olives as compensation. None of that matters as the pizza was sooooo good.

It was a lovely warm day in Bath and we wanted to grab a takeaway to eat in the park. We stopped off at the Oven and ordered two delicious pizzas. It took 20 mins to prepare which was perfect especially due to how busy the restaurant was. We celebrated the warm weather with style and pizza. Would highly recommend

We ordered truffle and mushroom pizza and chef’s special awarded fig pizza, all are delicious specially w/ truffle.. They do accept cash and although there is no difference between the sterlings and the scottish sterling is valid in all over UK, they do not accept scottish sterling!!!
