Outrageously good food and service, fantastic hidden restaurant

Met my friend for overdue catch up. Great atmosphere, only two tables free. The two men running were friendly and welcoming. My friend had soup, I had toasted cheese and ham sandwich. We both really enjoyed our food. The freshly baked scones smelt delicious. Definitely recommend a visit. 😋

We visited early on a Friday evening, the pub was fairly busy and there were a number of people eating. The menu offered had a good spread of tastes at very reasonable prices. We opted for steak and kidney pudding with chips , peas and lashings of tasty gravy. It was delicious . A big shout out for all the staff but specifically the young man who served our table with a big smile asking what condiments we would like. We would certainly return and I would point out the food was really good value. We had no room for pudding.

Great place to go for food or just drinks. Been coming here for many years and as I don't live in Swindon. I think that tells it's own story! Great staff and always a good laugh in there.

If your in North Devon, put this on your 'to do' list... Lovely cafe/Tea rooms in Croyde, great service. Enjoyed the cream tea scones and the cream cheese and pickle savoury scones. A wonderfully quaint old English tea room run by equally wonderful staff. Perfect food on a lovely sunny Sunday -thankyou!

Holidaying out of season we sometimes fall victim to weary restaurants and rip offs. Not so with Culture. I'd rather forego 2 average meals to pay for this. The small tucked away restaurant is charming. Just two people there - the chef and the sommelier/waiter. Sensational bread and butter followed by a potato soup that is hard to describe but truly delicious. We had a fish dish that blew us away, my husband loving the clever pairing wines, followed by venison and a chocolate cake. We couldnt fault the food and will be back without a doubt. Well done!

Oh I just love this place! We went last night for a Bastille dinner. The food was spectacular, I had a vegetarian Wellington which was absolutely delicious, except it was enormous,covered nearly two thirds of the plate and I felt guilty leaving some. My husband had a steak which was perfectly cooked. This place has a fantastic atmosphere. Small but perfectly formed and buzzing with happy conversation. Thank you Anita Claire for another great meal and evening.

Wow! We booked a table here as visiting Bampton and needed somewhere to eat. We were not disappointed! From the animal door stoppers on display in the window to the log burning fire to the warm friendly and genuine welcome the first impression was great- my friend and I were a little fussy with how we like our poached eggs cooked and the chef delivered them perfectly 🥳 and with good humour! My vegetarian breakfast was delicious, great quality food. Very highly recommended, can’t wait to come back.

Today....one of the best bacon baguettes ever!! Fresh baked baguette rammed overfull of quality bacon, nice people great location sat on the beach overlooking a sunny Swanage Bay, fantastic!!

Fantástica comida, excelentes pasteles sin gluten y ambiente acogedor. Una necesidad para cualquiera en la zona. Voy siempre que puedo y no puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente.

Amazing food, amazing drinks and to top it off amazing staff. Came here with my girl and we both loved it! Hands down best restaurant in Bristol. Must say I haven’t eaten so well since I came from Spain. 10/10 will definitely come again.

So bloody happy I was able to get my hands on a DF V milkshake! I had an oreo milkshake that was oat based and it was DELICIOUS. With allergies you really struggle to get the good stuff anymore, so I was really chuffed with my milkshake. Friendly, quick service and delicious drink with all normal options available as well as smoothies and other drinks. Highly recommend when you visit Newquay! 🌊
