Yet another lovely breakfast here! We love it and it is our go to place for breakfast now! The food is so tasty and freshly prepared. We are lucky enough to have this gem on our doorstep but if you're visiting make sure you give it a try! They do take out too!

Not sure if we’ve been unlucky but the last few times we’ve been to Banditos, we’ve been very disappointed. It seems since a new chef took over. We had stopped going for some time, as the quality seemed to have gone downhill, with missing sauces and smaller portions, but as I love a burrito, I talked my other half into getting one. I ordered a heaven and hell, convinced it would be better but got home to find it was only a chicken burrito with no mince and no extra sauce. Such a shame as this used to be a really good place for Mexican food that we used every couple of weeks.

Tried the 5 course menu one evening at Jonas at GL50. The quality was fantastic, superbly prepared and presented with style and enthusiasm by the chefs themselves. The flavours were intense on every course but not over flavoured. The front of house was also very good. This restaurant deserves to be very successful. My only feedback on changing things was that the wine flight, at £45/head for three small (c125ml) glasses of wine each, we thought excessive. Nice wines but (to us) no more so than the wines we would normally chose in a quality restaurant for £30-£40 for the bottle. I think adding just more one glass of wine so you didn’t need to ‘manage a glass across two savoury courses’ would make the wine flight feel a little better value.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Staff attentive and knowledgable. Couldn't fault it.

Called on the off chance they’d have a table for 2 available and so pleased they had. Their menu looks amazing. My eyes were literally popping out at the range of cakes on display in the chiller cabinet. Very hard decision but went for the warm plum frangipane tart with ice cream. Good sized portion and absolutely delicious! Coffee very nice too. Wish we were staying near Dawlish for longer so I could sample everything in that cabinet, and on the menu!

Amazing we didn’t have a reservation and were lucky to be seated, in fact people were turned away after we sat down. The food was sublime, highly recommend the trio of pork and the sticky toffee pudding is easily one of the best we have EVER eaten anywhere. All the staff were attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The complimentary lemoncello was a wonderful treat. Can’t wait until we come back to Looe first job book a table here !!
