Came for breakfast today with 3 adults a child and a baby and what an experience. From the cute decor, the sentimental touch of how it found its name and the delicious food with such good portions. Not to mention how lovely one of the owners richard was , he really did go above an beyond service with a smile , happy to have a chat and awnser all my questions about how the cafe got its name. He even cut our babys toast into fingers for ease and then brought a little handful of mini marshmallows out afyer breakfast and asked if he could have them *ofcourse out little boy enjoyed every last one *. All the food is locally sourced and it shows the quality of the sausages, bacon and bread was so good. Prices for the quality and size of the breakfasts were amazing second to none!! We will definitely be returning - excited ti see the Christmas decs go up and come in for a hot chocolate 😊

What a great find. Had breakfast on a Sunday morning. Absolutely delicious Quality food all sourced locally Superb menu choices as well. Lovely friendly owners who named it after their grandmothers and have 2 pictures of them on the wall. The decor throughout is quaint and lovely music playing. It’s a must for anyone on a visit to Barry whether you want a coffee, meal or a breakfast. They serve alcohol as well. Also have a garden seated area which we didn’t know about until leaving. So we will return to have a meal out there very soon.

Recommended by the lady in the local delicatessen ( which looks amazing). We had a Maggie Jo’s All In breakfast whilst waiting for our motorhome to be repaired in a local garage. We had a lovely warm welcome and excellent service. The breakfast was as my husband commented “ spot on”. Quality, local produce from the local butchers, which was cooked to perfection, and excellent coffee. We would definitely recommend. Diolch/Thankyou

Me and my wife are currently in barry for a mini break and found this lovely little cafe! The staff were lovely and gave us a warm welcome. The food was amazing, along with a brilliant atmosphere. As cafe managers me and my wife can be slightly fussy and have quite high standards, however these were 100% met. Will defo be back before we go home!

It looked the most inviting of the cafes in Barry and we were not disappointed. Shabby chic with low level music from the 1960s. It was obvious from the welcome we got that Richard that he is a great host and loves his cafe. We only wanted to share a panini but we given two plates and extra chips, all beautifully presented. First rate cafe. I wish we had something like this near our home.

We are regulars at Maggie Jo's. But it's not habit, or proximity to where we live, that keeps us coming back, week in and week out. It's the delicious food, incredibly wonderful staff and great value. There veggie breakfast is second to none. And if you like your food fresh and hot, this is the place to come. If I could, I'd eat here every day.

My daughter and I love coming here.. both the cafe and food are lovely (the breakfast has saved her a few times after a big night out!), but the team who work there are so friendly it’s always a joy to visit. Definitely go if you’re in the area (sometimes better to book on a Saturday if a larger group).

Went with visiting family for breakfast/brunch on Sunday, we were looked after by all the staff who were polite and made us feel welcome. The Menu was varied and gave plenty of choice, as two of our group were delayed the staff looked after us and waited until we were all there before serving everyone at the same time? The food was excellent and everybody was looked after very well. We will recommend the cafe and food to anyone, and would like to thank the staff for their attention.

What a brilliant place to eat! We were slightly awkward and asked for some off menu things... it was no problem at all. The staff are all so lovely, helpful and receptive The food was amazing! Sometimes the simple things, like poached eggs, are the hardest to get right. But all was perfect. And came out hot, tasty and well presented. The owner came for a chat and was so kind, the chef too. And the staff who served us were fab. All round brilliant place to eat.

Whenever we visit Glastonbury a visit to Pie and Tart at the end of the Gauntlet is a must. So much choice of cakes and savouries and Mandy's baking is to die for. Ask about dietary issues and food intolerances, you may be surprised what she can cater for. 10/10.

We had a great lunch on Saturday with family, including our 4 year old daughter. The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! They’d only just recovered from a power cut and still had no signal but handled it calmly & professionally. The decor is really pretty and cosy too. We would absolutely recommend and will be back next time we visit :-)

Visited for lunch with a friend and had the lunchtime deal which was amazing value (at £7.95 each) and fabulous food. We had lamb mousaka hummus, patican ezme pita bread and baklava too. We had such a warm welcome and would highly recommend this place to eat a little gem in stourbridge. We will certainly be returning.
