Had a fantastic meal at Spice Lounge in Burford ā everything was spot on. I had the garlic tawa chicken and it was absolutely amazing, packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The whole group really enjoyed their food, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and delicious dishes. Highly recommend if youāre in the area!
Visited recently and had the burger from the specials board along with the Black Forest trifle for dessertāboth were absolutely amazing! The flavours were spot on, and the portion sizes were generous without being over the top. The service was excellent tooāstaff were really friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout. Great value for money and a lovely atmosphere. Iāll definitely be returning soon, especially to enjoy the lovely outside garden during the summer!
The tastiest did I've eaten in such a long time!! Yum Ped-Krob duck... Amazing! And Massaman curry, with coconut rice! Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! x
Visited here for the second time after we enjoyed a great meal last year. The food was again excellent however on arrival we ordered a bottle of "Fondstone Shiraz" from their wine list priced £27.50. What arrived at the table was a cheap bottle of McGuigans Black Shiraz priced at £5.50 at our local supermarket. I questioned this and was told "it's a Shiraz so it's almost the same". I told them it wasn't acceptable and after discussion they admitted they had run out of the wine stated on the menu and could I just accept their alternative. I refused and chose a completely different wine from the list. They clearly hoped we wouldnt notice and would accept their cheap supermarket version instead. At the end of the day, we will not be back, we removed the discretionary gratuity and have written a poor review. Was it really worth it?
Came here on Easter Monday for a birthday lunch with my family. It was amazing from start to finish. The staff were so incredibly kind and friendly. The food was exceptional. All tasted fresh and portions were a great size. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Thank you!! Ps. a note to the staff, you made our day š
Short family visit to Seaford. Had breakfast here for 2 days. Good service, excellent food, friendly staff. I recommend the eggs benedict, and the thick pancake with streaky bacon and maple sauce.

The new Chilli branch is a gem of an addition to Brightonās hospitality scene. Seb and his team very kindly hosted us for our staff party. The started our meal with a variety of starters. The prawn toast was especially impressive. Thick, fluffy slices of baguette with generous servings of prawn paste. They werenāt greasy like typical prawn toast. We also had sweetcorn fritters, prawn doughnuts, chilli coconut bites, vegetable spring rolls, and crispy chilli squid. Our mains swiftly followed and I went for the roast duck curry with lychee and pineapple. I was worried the fruit might add too much sweetness but it was perfectly balanced; savoury, refreshing and spicy. The cocktails were delicious too. Once again, thank you so much for having us, youāve cured our January blues! Iāll be thinking about that curry for weeks to come.
