First visit to Bandidos and won't be our last booked for my husband's birthday food tasty and plentiful we didn't eat all day as we knew portion size massive and glad we didn't ...staff lovely and welcoming food competively priced and extremely tasty cocktails good...first class experience..thank you

What a gem this place is. An independent, family run Mexican restaurant serving outstanding food. Massive portions too - We couldn't finish our Burritos. The owner genuinely cares about her customers, and having her 9 year old granddaughter helping her is just beyond cute ! (She was brilliant btw - a real credit to her family). Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. A definite stop off every time we go on the eurotunnel.

We were there last weekend on Friday and it was delightful and delicious. We got there close to the closing time for the kitchen and they welcome us and served food 😻 we had the quesadilla and the mix of chicken and ribs! Sooooo good!!!! Good portions and good service! Lovely place

Often when visiting Mexican restaurants the quantities of food leave me hungry afterwards. However the quantities of our meals were generous and filling. (We had large nachos and shredded Chicken Enchiladas). More filling than these pictures allude to. The quality of food was lovely and the atmosphere was warm and friendly with a family feel to the restaurant. The decor had a lovely bright vibe to it and the chairs were super soft too. Parking nearby is restricted with 1 hour parking in the immediate nearby streets but 2 hours on the main town high street. We parked in the nearby Leas Cliff Hall Car Park (3 min walk) which is a paid car park location in the day but we weren’t charged anything for parking between 6-8pm. I do have one regret with this restaurant which is I haven’t visited more often!!! Will definitely be coming back and visiting again. They do a takeaway service too! Overall was blown away! Thank you.

Ordered takeout from here today but when it arrived it wasn't very hot. I called immediately and spoke to manager. She was very apologetic and remade the order. The food was amazing and the service impeccable. Steak Sunduba was sooooo tasty highly recommend.

Really good food, reasonably priced, and generous sized portions. Nice variety of dishes and comprehensive choice of drinks. Very busy Sat night, great atmosphere. Staff were lovely checking everything was ok even though they were so busy. Will definitely return.

Ate at Bandidos this evening, service was incredible, very welcoming and friendly, food was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, I had the chicken enchiladas and my partner had the chicken and chorizo burrito, we shared a beer chilli nachos for starters, were surprised by the bill, was lower than expected but well worth every single penny! Even enjoyed the playlist lol Always going to suggest! Just perfect! 😍

Just had the most fantastic evening in Bandidos. Food was excellent, service 10/10 could not fault the place. Can't wait to go again. We went to celebrate a 18th birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff were very attentive, food was great and plentiful and the restaurant had a lovely ambience. Our granddaughter enjoyed the cocktails and we loved the soundtrack. We would really recommend this restaurant.

Had a takeaway this evening from Bandidos. Lovely steak and ribs. I went in to order. The staff were attentive and looked after me from the moment I got in the door.

Didn’t even know this place existed. Stumbled on it when looking for somewhere to eat, & what a find. Very reasonable prices, lovely atmosphere and cracking food to boot. Folkestone is getting more & more good eateries, and this one is right up there. We’ll be back for sure!!

Had a superb meal with my daughter and grandkids for mother's day. Fiona the lovely owner made us extremely welcome and made a fuss of the grandchildren. Unbeknown to us there was free Prosecco and desserts to mark this special day! We had to take the desserts home as the portions are so generous. Such a lovely, friendly, welcoming place to have a tasty meal. I can't wait to go back.

Conchitas opened especially for my daughters birthday lunch last Friday. What an absolut delight. Our waitress was wonderful and extremely helpful. The food was amazing, lots of it and reasonably priced. It was freshly cooked and beautifully presented and I must add there was a wonderful selection of cocktails! Background music was fab. Conchitas exceeded my expectations - the staff and food were amazing. We had a very personal experience with the owner who spent time speaking with us. She is an excellent host who is giving and kind and I count myself fortunate to have met her.

Ideal for a pre-theatre meal . Service is quick and friendly and food is very tasty and good value. A downer is the website which says "view full menu" but does not then show it. Also the wine menu lists just three reds but we received a replacement without notice (although it was fine.)

This wasn't Mexican food to me. Lacked flavour and spice. So disappointed as it was my first (and last visit). Not a jalapeño in sight unless you wanted to pay for them. Older lady who was waitressing messed up the order. Long wait for food when it wasn't even busy. Younger lady was good at trying to fix the situation, which I appreciated, but I couldn't forgive the hard rice in the burrito and the lack cheese. Such a shame.

Don’t have the steaks one was very tough and fatty the other full of fat didn’t enjoy at all very cheep cuts of meat the other people of our group liked their Mexican food the waitress did her best but it did spoil our evening

We had a nice meal here, the food was good value for money and the staff were friendly and efficient. Unfortunately our evening became very unpleasant when an argument ensued between the owner/cook and one of the waitresses, it was alarmingly loud with extremely offensive, abusive language being used. Very unprofessional, arguing over something that had already happened and could have been discussed when customers had left! A table had been given 10% off to pay cash so that a delivery driver could get paid!!

We went here on the off chance not knowing what to expect. We were blown away by the service we received here. The Owner Fiona introduced herself and nothing was too much trouble for her and her tremendous staff. The attention to detail was just right, the food was the best we have had in years, some of us had the Sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection with flavour that we had not experienced in a very long time. The rest had Fillet steak which they said was superb .We assured Fiona that we will definitely be returning to sample her Mexican cuisine, if that is anything like her steaks we will be definitely in for a treat Well Done to Everyone at Conchitas 👍👍

Totally underwhelming. Food was only nominally Mexican. Steak burrito with some strips of overcooked barely edible steak. Chicken fajitas that could have benefited with rather less pale white onions and a little more genuine Mexican flavour. The biggest insult to customers is the obscene mark-up on wine. Chose the Shiraz. At around £24 a bottle, we had expected something rather better than a bottle of McGuigan plonk, which retails in Tesco for around £6.00-£7.00. Couldn't help noticing that there was a Tesco on the other side of the road - easy money! The atmosphere was not particularly Mexicana. More akin to a transport café that caters for small groups of hen-partying customers, with the music and volume to suit.

Went in after taking in Folkestone air show. Staff were plentiful and attentive. Sadly the food was ok at best. Restaurant devoid of atmosphere; felt like a Wimpy or similar. Might have forgiven this if food was anything to write home about but it wasn’t.

Got here at abt 6.30 we were the third table to be seated, about half an hour later the restaraunt was busy on a Tuesday! That was a good sign. The food was great and the starters were the size of a main! Although it did take an hour for starters to come and then another 20 mins for food

Absolutely top marks for this restaurant. Was there this lunchtime with my wife and her family prior to going to a funeral. Didn,t realise until later that they had opened especially to accomodate our booking. Excellent service, friendly and couteous. No problems serving children,s portions to older adults. First class and thank you to all.

The only bad experience we had coming here was the food, I came here with my kids and I got the king prawns fajitas.. The only problem was that I think got food poisoning from the king prawns and the food the steak was a bit hard and the ribs were also quite hard.

Very friendly service. Kids loved the cocktail umbrella and strawberry garnish on their juice. Recommend the beer chilli, the enchilada with that was tasty. Ordered a takeaway last night, based on the reviews. Food was bland, literally zero seasoning, burittos were a good size but absolutely flavourless. Not one element of the burrito had any flavour. I dont know if everyone else who has eaten here has never had decent mexican food, but an old el paso mix is even better than the food here 😬

We booked a family meal at Conchitas following fantastic reviews and everyone is right, this restaurant is fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious, very generous portion sizes and very good value for money. We shared the nachos to start, between 4 of us, such good value at just under £6. 4 different main meals, all absolutely delicious and everything got eaten and 3 different desserts, again all yummy and again all finished. Service was good too, food came out quickly and staff were very attentive. We will most definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you! Definitely book though - we saw quite a few people come in but the restaurant was already fully booked so book to avoid any disappointment!!

Found this gem through google before going to a concert at Leas Cliff Hall and the food is delicious and plentiful. All the waitresses were so friendly and the owner delightful. An incorrect Taco for my daughters starter but they left the beef chilli one and quickly brought her bean one! Then a slight table mix up and my daughter ended up with adult chicken fahitas! Again the upgrade was left with her and she loved them and they did her buritto still and then packed it up for her to take home! We are all human and mistakes happen but it's what you do about it that counts and this lovely cosy restaurant were apologetic and fixed it so quickly. We had a very good value and tasty meal and would visit again in a heartbeat.

Not sure where to start? The awful front of house waitress could single handedly ruin this business. We went for my nieces 18th birthday. Ordered drinks, mine didn’t come so I politely reminded the waitress when she took our food order. She immediately blamed the bar tender. No harm done, it’s an easy mistake to forget a drink from an order but do own it, don’t blame someone else. After all she’s serving our table not the bartender so she can see there’s a glass missing. Mains arrive over a period but not my nieces food. And then 2 more tables are served their food so I ask where hers is. After all we’re there for her birthday. Reasonable question and I’m justified to be a little disappointed as a reasonable time had lapsed and our plates were getting cold. It was also evident that she had missed the meal entirely and moved on to the next table. Same waitress tells me now it’s the chefs fault and she will take it off the bill. Now I want to make it clear that free food wasn’t what I wanted. I wanted all the food at the same time! So I told her it wasn’t really good enough and the waitress turned really rude and aggressive. She said that nothing was good enough and implied that I was being difficult. It’s a birthday meal and to ask for everyone to eat together shouldn’t be a problem. Why she couldn’t just own up to maybe having a shocking night or being forgetful ii don’t know?There were 7 of us in our party not 17. The steaks we all ordered were over cooked and coupled with her appalling attitude I felt that I couldn’t let it go. I approached the waitress to say that I wasn’t happy with the way she had spoken to me only to receive a barrage of verbal abuse and to be physically surrounded by waitresses and their friends and taken outside with the door locked. Thankfully my sister came to try and diffuse the situation but this sort of customer intimidation is really awful to experience. At one point she screamed ‘I’m at 35 year old woman and don’t need to be told how to do my job!’ Clearly she does as she’s absolutely appalling at it and costing the business money hand over fist. We decided not to mention the further drinks that the same waitress had forgotten- I’m sure she would’ve blamed someone else anyway. After we’d finished (- nobody cleared their plate as the damage was done) we asked if we could give my niece her cake. They had cleared some of the plates away but it felt deliberate that they’d left half of the dirty plates on the table and still brought up the cake. Of course we had to go and get cake plates for ourselves for fear of more altercations with the vile waitress. At the end of the meal the same waitress took off the cost of the late dish, a drink and 20%. Something I didn’t ever want and she totally missed the point . All we wanted was some good customer service, not excuses and attitude. I appreciate her trying to make amends but I can’t believe she’s allowed to work front of house with a temper like that. Needless to say I won’t be going back. Ever.

We absolutely love Conchitas. We go very regularly and have never been disappointed by the food! The portions are incredibly generous and it’s always delicious! It is without a doubt our favourite takeaway, and I often purchase vouchers as gifts for friends and family. Gave 4 stars because it would be nice to have a small bag of tortilla chips, or a bottle of soft drink that comes with the takeaway. It isn’t the cheapest takeout and other takeaway outlets similar to the price (Indian, Chinese etc) all come with free extras like poppadoms and prawn crackers. It would just be a nice touch. Apart from that it is excellent.

Unfortunately the meat is cooked from frozen, chicken and steak was not fresh. Flavours were bland and watery. Shame as we are here three years ago and it was perfect!

My takeaway experience was not a nice one to be honest , family have eaten here many times and raved about the good standard of food . I wrote a bad review and to my surprise the restaurant rang me . They were so apologetic The manager offered to refund my £77 and give family 20% off their next meal . I applaud you for acting quickly and thank you

Love this place. Food is always great and at the right temperature and not badly priced either. One slight criticism is that you can feel rushed with the time limits on the tables at peak times as they look to turnover the tables quickly. Though being so busy and popular tells you just how good it is.....

Came for a meal on Friday as a celebration meal... Waited 50 minutes for our starters to arrive, table behind us arrived 20 minutes after us and got thier food way before us! Food was stone cold and really dry very disappointing. The atmosphere was also awful, extremely loud music which kept chopping anf changing halfway through songs... Put me off going again if I am honest
