One of the few places in Folkestone that I've enjoyed visiting for over 20 years! Chris and his team over the years have been nothing but top notch and loved the food and drink offered!

Just stopped for tea but enjoyed the atmosphere and music. Friendly staff and an amazing size pot of tea!

The staff are very friendly and the food was hot and fresh and a great price. I would definitely recommend and would go back for another meal.

Visited the underground bar here on a Friday night when a band was performing. Ordered a couple of drinks and spent over an hour here, it has a lovely atmosphere, a well kept venue and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to others and regret not coming here sooner.

Lovely venue. Impressive sound system. Clean. Like the staff. Beer looks good. Controlled Voltage music was decent.

My wife and I just came here to be honest as it was open late and we are too old for night clubs. Absolutely loved it. Surprisingly good range of beers and a decent white wine. Lovely friendly service. There is a dance area if you really love those 90's dance classics but also a few nice seats by the bar too.

I have stopped by just for a quick coffee break, and from the space, to the staff, to the atmosphere, everything was fine. Then, the coffee got to the table and that was when everything went wrong. Honestly, it tasted awful. But with a different blend of coffee, this is easily solved. Would say if you are looking for a nice place to have anything other than coffee, this could be the place.

£6.50 for watery, almost tasteless soup is pushing things a bit far. Friendly staff but won't be going back.

Saw live music, great cask beers great atmosphere

Security guard there was quite aggressive. Falsely accusing me of stealing someone else's black hood. When I had my own round my waist. I was then ordered to get out because of it, with no apology or valid reason given. But bar staff where pleasant.

Went into this little cafe in a very cold Saturday 5 mins before they were closing, and asked if they were still serving hot drinks? They very kindly said yes and a nice cup of coffee it was.

I have been going to Chambers since 2007 I believe. It is one of Folkestone's best pubs! Great food, great service and a great range of events!

Great little music venue, very intimate, sound was good. Definitely will be looking wha gigs they have on in the future.

A great local place. Friendly clientele and reasonably priced. Saturday night was 90s disco so we had a great time on the dance floor.

Was a good evening great 80s music. Didn't have food drinks reasonably priced only criticism is what a silly place to put a bar...

Brilliant cafe, bar, restaurant and music venue

A very interesting building. Some good ales including some non alcoholic ones. It's very interesting how they live stream the bands onto projector screens so people can see from several areas

A great independent pub and coffee house. Always a good warm welcome. A comprehensive variety of beers ciders and ales. Well worth a visit.

Dropped by in the early afternoon when it was quiet. Staff are super friendly and the areas are really well laid out. It'd be great to come down when there's some live music playing!

Been there weekend of 17th March as was staying in town with a friend for reunion, we went in here & they made us feel welcomed and would recommend highly if in town ..

Bright and clean corner positioned coffee shop with about 9 tables. I was attracted to try here as there was a lovely coffee amoma near by and coffee was very nice. They serve cakes, light snacks and meals too. Background music not too loud so customers can easily talk. They are also fully licensed. Also noticed they have a cellar bar attached to this establishment, will check it out sometime.

Always a welcome experience having a quiet drink in here.

Havent been to this place in ages. Realky enjoy the vibe in there. I'm 63 but the music was great. Was with other younger people but we all enjoyed it 🙂🙂

So.....soup of the day pricey BUT we had a sausage roll included as well. That filled us up nicely for a light lunch. They let us sit and natter coz we hadn't seen each other since before Xmas, so we had lots to catch up on. Mainly about ghastly other halves/ relatives / friends taking us and our hospitality completely for granted! Lovely decorative arts type windows and reasonably comfy chairs. Yup, I'd go there again - for the fresh bread fruit loaf that I didn't have and wished I DID have.

Great pub and venue. We had our work Christmas meal here and the service was great.

Fab place catering for all. Real vinyl sounds. Local ales. Great coffee. Deserves support.

We love this place and pleased to find out its dog friendly. First time back since lockdown. Good selection of ales. Various things going on each month ... such as comedy night, live music etc. However, lunchtime nachos and tostados were very disappointing. Not much on the nachos and I think I had crumbs mainly from the bottom of the pack. Chilli was lukewarm. Shame as nice staff and atmosphere. Perhaps this was just a one off as food before lockdown was always good, so will return. The whole place was beautifully clean.

It's a nice cosy place. I wouldn't complain about the food at all. What we ordered was so tasty. Yummy! It has live music on day other than we visited. I believe this place is buzzing mostly in summers but I took one star away for the menu being a bit expensive. When I say expensive, it's mainly to the ratio of price and portion. Rest if it was reasonable we would have had our dinner there as well. Host was nice, he came over to ask if we liked the food. That I think makes up for everything.

We don't know the area very well and this looked decent enough for lunch with some tables in the sun outside as well. We struck lucky and enjoyed good toasties and coffee with friendly service. Will no doubt return.

New to folkestone but found this while looking for a coffee shop. Very friendly staff, we all had coffee and cake which was very nice. Clean toilets with ladies products in a basket which was a nice touch, also free iced water which had a sign inviting you to help yourself. Very impressed.

We loved the friendly, fun atmosphere here. Didn’t catch our server’s name but they were wonderfully attentive and very efficient. The food was flavourful, of good portion size and sold at decent prices. Warm relaxed ambience at lunch and fun and friendly in the evening when we returned. Top notch hospitality.

Visited last night, was not impressed at the door it was £6.00 entry, gave the door person £20.00 to which he gave me back £4.00, he didn't dispute when I confronted him and gave me the rest of my change, but shouldn't have happened in first place. He obviously thought I'd had too much to drink to notice

Smells damp and some strange people in there..won't be rushing back

Recently visited for the first time in many years (out of the country) I must say; it's better than ever!!! Big shout out to Chris's daughter who served me a glass of water with ever beer. Totally helped me out when I woke the next day 🤣 5 star customer service right there!!! Door team, bar staff more than on point 5/5👌

Amazing place and amazing people

One woman staff member was massively condescending to us just because we were flipping beer mats. Admittedly our friend was a bit drunk and he was being a bit loud, but the way in which that particular staff member refered to us as 'boys' in such a negative context was very demeaning and I will not stand for that.

Great night great music lovely staff.

We visited at lunchtime and had a lovely sandwich and drink. Is dog friendly. The decor and ambiance of the chambers was warm and welcoming with nice chilled music playing in the background. Despite being underground the chambers had a light and airy feel. Chris was super friendly and helpful (thank you Chris for organising the doggy stroller) Next time we will visit for the live music. Would highly recommend.

Some very curious looking aggressive feminists in there; acting like men but wanting to be treated like ladies. Fat lady fell on her arse whilst telling the manager where to go. 19/03/21. Good fun

Love The Chambers, lovely food, great staff and lovely friendly atmosphere, they have some great bands/ DJ's playing there, in fact there's something for everyone, highly recommend!

Great selection of beers and an atmospheric live music venue. Folkestone is lucky to have a venue like this, promoting live, original music.

Quirky cellar bar. Friendly staff with good beer. Seem to have a lot of events but personally haven't attended any so can't comment.

Visited for live music on Saturday. Good venue. Also enjoyed Jim Jones All Stars on Sunday organised by The Chambers.

Chambers is a Good place to go, if it's for a pub lunch or a night out on the weekend, friendly staff good atmosphere. generally always something going on whether its a DJ or live music your be entertained. definitely one of the better places to go in Folkestone for a drink. The food is great all freshly prepared and good size potions always feels the hole :)

The food is very good, they used to do a chilli challenge which was popular. I wait for the return of the Live Music. The staff are very friendly. Do not talk about Cheese :)
