Osso buco in Weybridge is a hidden gem! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely outstanding, with the Osso Buco being the star of the show. It was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in Weybridge, Osso buco is the place to go!

Our 4th or 5th visit and this place never disappoints. Warm service and highly skilled cooking in the kitchen. We always look to the specials board first and it didn't disappoint this time either.

Was last at this restaurant 3 years ago. The staff are as charming as ever. However sorry but the food was very average. Stale bread to start and a sea bass full of oil. Not sure if I will return again. Shame because I like the atmosphere and staff

Amazing place come often, foods always great, lasagna and ossobuco is always great, drinks are always great good selection of wines and great negroni and campari spritz, staff are always great and amazing service attentive and chatty only thing to complain about is wooden seats and £7 for a beer but thats weybridge. Very good.

Disappointing. I was part of a group of four who went for one of their special starter and mains. The starter was a dry ball of black rice wrapped in breadcrumbs. It was very bland and with no flavour. The mains were ravioli with cod and another filling, I forget. Again, very dry, undercooked pasta ( not al dente), minimal flavour nor actual cod. Service was initially good, but then we were forgotten and had to wait ages for the plates to be cleared. In the end, I had to go up to the bar to ask the four staff members for the bill; they were busy preparing cutlery for the next day The price was over £200 for four people, including drinks—poor value for money.

Had a fab time at Osso Bucco. Lovely Italian food, great wine, a good atmosphere with good service. I'll definitely be returning!

Wow! Great Italian food prepared by Italian chefs, with (mostly) Italian staff and of course the female Italian owner 😃 What can go wrong? Absolutely nothing!! Family atmosphere, great wine and of course a grappa afterwards (plus a free limoncello).

A group of us (5) had lunch here last Friday. It was my first visit. We had a really excellent lunch and I really enjoyed my visit. The service and the staff are exceptional without being intrusive, and the food (including items from the 'specials board') - I ate a pork dish which was very well cooked and presented . Some of us had starters , desserts and wine which were all really enjoyable. We had a great lunch thanks.

This was the worst meal l have ever had in Weybridge with dreadful service. Two of the dishes had to be returned as they were cold - there was no apology. On return the fish was OK. However the fish cakes were chewy and soaked in fat . On paying l did say we were not happy at which point we did get an apology but no offer of a reduction. We will not eat here again

One of the best Italian restaurants I have been too recently, better than most of the Italian restaurants we went to recently when on holiday in Italy. I visited with family to celebrate a significant birthday. We were on holiday so booked ahead having read the reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was 'molto buono'. The staff could not have been nicer. I have been learning Italian and they were very happy for me to practice the language. They did not know until we arrived about the birthday and surprised us with gelato and a candle as a birthday treat. I am only sorry that I don't live nearer as I would love to make this one of my preferred restaurants to eat at. If you are in Weybridge I would recommend.

friendly staff and delicious food!

The food was great and service fantastic. The specials menu was particularly good and we enjoyed the variety of dishes available. The mains were cold when it arrived otherwise I would have given 5 stars; it still tasted great. Not an issue for us but just beware if you’re expecting pizza as this Italian restaurant only does pasta / meat / fish dishes and no pizza!

We love Osso Bucco. Food is exceptional, just like mama made it, and service is second to none. Thank you to Luca for always being so attentive, and all the staff are just lovely. It’s like coming home every time we come here. Highly recommend Osso Bucco.

I did end up in this restaurant while being on business trip just following some local colleagues suggestion. When looking at the recommendation of the day I did notice they were proposing "pasta alla genovese" which Is one of the most traditional dish cooked only in Napoli and I did decide tò make a try. Frankly speaking I was a bit skeptical as this Is one of the most difficult dish tò be prepared as It requires a very long preparation (not less than 10 hours) and It has a very strict list of selected ingredients. Well, when It was served all my doubts were cleared out as the taste was exactly what I could expect in the best case scenario. I did ask to talk with the chef (Francesco) to personally congratulate with him for the excellent execution. In short, if you like, you can taste a bit of real Naples's traditional cuisine in UK for a fair price!

A real Italian Family dining experience. We have been away for four years, but the welcome and food were as good as ever! Something for everyone on the gorgeous menu. Also look for the day's specials! Good size portions and all authentically Italian. Good wine selection to complement too.

Food is good, nothing special but enjoyable. Unfortunately the service was very slow, too much, could be the day but my experience was really slow. On top of that, it was very noisy, again, it can be that day was a happy day for everyone but I found too much noise.

Osso Buco is a family-run Italian hub in our locale, Weybridge. The decor is soothing and comforting. The staff is attentive, talkative and cheerful ready to explain the menu if needed. We ordered a starter, Antipasto miso for two to share along with bread and olio. The main meal consisted of Misticanza salad ( with fried breaded cheese) and seafood linguine ( a dish of the day). We relished the Italian flavours of all the dishes. But a bit costly menu.

Amazing service, waiters are so friendly. Food & drinks came out fast. Gorgeous authentic Italian food. So so tasty! Couldn’t recommend enough.

The food was delicious, the wine list was very very good. The general service great. So why only 3 out of 5? We were deafened by a man who we were told is the owner, shouting all the time. I know Italians can be loud and indeed live in Italy for part of the year, but he was taking over every conversation, because I couldn't hear my friends so we didn't stay for any extra drinks or desserts.

Food is lovely along with a friendly service. My husband is a coeliac. They cater for his needs. I would highly recommend

My partner and I visited this evening and were blown away by the warmth, excellent service and superb food. Everything we ate was fresh, flavoursome and authentic. We can’t wait to return soon and will be recommending to all our friends and family.

Delicious food, friendly and engaging staff, nice ambience

Food: We had a family lunch here where I ordered risotto fungi and salciatta, meanwhile my partner ordered a Milanese and we shared antipasto misto. They're delicious. The risotto is very creamy and rich. You can ask for chili flakes or chili oil to make a bit of a kick from the food. The Milanese's chicken is very juicy as well, the pasta is al dente. All the food that we ordered was amazing. Service: The staff are super kind and accommodating. They explained to you what's the best food to order. The restaurant isn't that busy so the service is fast.

Visited on a Friday evening with family and a friend we were visiting. I am a wheelchair user and this was accomadated well with the table position considered. Service was excellent as was the food. Definitely recommend.

It is nearly impossible to find a good restaurant, Not Fast Food. Serving a lunchtime menu in some areas. Osso Buco was the only restaurant serving a lunchtime menu i could find. It is a lovely restaurant, very authentic food and varied for lunchtime. The Price? It's not unreasonable for the area. Would deff Recommend.

This is the best place in Surrey. There is no doubt. The starters are incredible, the mains are top notch, the specials really are special. Wouldn’t bother going anywhere else anymore. It’s over. 10/10 every time

My Brother and myself visited Brooklands Museum (see separate Review) earlier today and - as the Sunbeam Restaurant was extremely busy - we popped into nearby Weybridge for a bite to eat. We settled on Osso Buco on the High St (Church St actually!) which proved a good move. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and - as there were a dearth of other diners (unlike - we were reliably informed - the previous even8ng when there were no shortage of Valentine Patrons!) - we chose a nice, front of the house - table. Service was excellent - as indeed was my Calamari and Caesar Chicken Salad. All in all a most enjoyable experience and - as such (Valentine’s Day apart!) - we should be happy to pay a return visit!!

My word. What a gem. My sister was craving osso buco, and for her 40th birthday, we simply had to make it happen. We were blown away by the service. The staff were kind and attentive. They sang to my sister. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The creme brulee was a real treat.

A local gem! Having lived in Weybridge for several years, I had never visited before and now regret not visiting sooner. The restaurant has a lovely decor and atmosphere and the staff very all very welcoming and friendly. The menu was inviting and they had some great specials. The food was very close to perfection for me. Would definitely recommend!

We eat at Osso at least once every couple months as we live just a short walk away. It's #1 rating for being the best restaurant in Weybridge is so well deserved. The food is excellent, the staff are fantastic and we just like this place more than anywhere else in town. They always have specials on.

Had dinner at Osso Buco on 24th Jul with a friend. Food was average, portion had dropped since the reopening of locked down due to COVID-19. Had an outdoor table and to our surprised another patrons were heavily smoking without interjection by the owner. When comes the bill, every table was served a limoncello and we weren’t. We had paid our part for tips average at 10%, lady owner doesn’t bother to serve, we were disgusted with the different treatment because of ethnic and class.

Great service, as others have said buzzy family owned Italian restaurant. Some of the dishes were a bit missing on the full Mediterranean flavours of Italy...but overall it was good

Disappointing 2 star food hygiene rating - improvement necessary inspected on 14th September, I feel they should be getting a better score than this.

A fine example of do the basics well and you have a recipe for suxcess! Hearty Italian fare in Weybridge of quiality and value family style. Wet here with the wife with no booking..lucky to have got a table in a Friday night. The aubergine parmeganio and lamb shank was great. They have a great selecrion of specials and pasra in the evening. Will take the kid for lunch when they serve pizzas!

Enjoyed a celebration meal for 12 a few nights ago and it couldn't have been better. The service and food were excellent and the whole experience left us wanting to return as soon as we get a chance. Without doubt, one of the best restaurants in the area.

I love the food here which is always presented beautifully and tastes like high grade ingredients are used. The specials are always delicious and it’s got a lovely ambiance. Service is simply excellent throughout but the manager is my favourite! Now that’s how you run an Italian and the low staff turnover here speaks volumes too.

Buzzing with atmosphere and lovely food. We enjoyed the chicken Milanese and tagliatelle, and of course the tiramisu. As they were very busy, service was a little slow at times but waiters were knowledgable and friendly. Recommended.

Overall good food. Ossobuco is good, the saffron risotto it's served with is very good. Gamberi starter is nice but particularly steep. Desserts are very nice too. Great homely Italian cooking, but a bit pricy for what you're getting. I'd likely go back for risotto.

Osso Buco is a very friendly restaurant. Children are welcome, the service is good, the food is good and they provided gluten free food for someone with Coeliac's without any problems. It is also popular so the atmosphere is good.

Came with my partner while visiting the area. It’s a really welcoming place and you can tell the staff enjoy what they do. They were very welcoming and always served us with a smile. The specials board were very, very good, we had all our food from them. Staff are super friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Book for a special event or just a midweek meal when you cannot be bothered to cook.

Once again - absolutely spectacular, as always. For me it's not worth going out anywhere else. At Osso Buco, you get that happy, warm, family feel type of welcome and service; you get incredible starters, mains and desserts. I imagine most other restaurant owners in the area are jealous. I wouldn't be surprised if they came to Osso Buco for dinner.

Food was disappointing and portions very small. It does not cost much more to add staples to a dish. Pricey for what we got. Better value elsewhere.

First time we have been to osso buco. What a lovely friendly place to go. Food was amazing, staff friendly the atmosphere was buzzing. So nice to see people who have obviously been before, which is always a good sign. Can't wait to go back. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We have been before and enjoyed the food. Unfortunately the food was not great this time and portions very small. A main with two small potatoes and three slivers of veg, I say no more. Ironically the cheapest things on the dish so why not put a little more on the plate. I know prices are increasing but come on guys. We sat for 15 minutes with no offer for deserts which we declined when finally asked. Focus on all your guests rather than on a few tables.

I visited osso bucco on Thursday with some friends. The service was amazing. We had a very friendly waitress would have done anything for us. She made some great recommendations and the food was very tasty.

Absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant, the food was excellent and so was the wine. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and the atmosphere was really fabulous. Our server George was very attentive and our appetizers and mains and desert were all of top quality Italian fare. The food was brought out at exactly the right time between courses. A very buzzy place to go and it did not disappoint in any way. I recommend this very highly. If there is one place you can choose to go then go here.

Great place to visit with family.

We called in - in the hope of getting a table and although the restaurant was clearly filling up and fully booked, they managed to squeeze us in. Delicious meal. Had the Agnella Ripieno from the specials board followed by dessert. A really lovely, happy, family run restaurant. A real gem.

Updating review for 2023: My partner and I’s number 1 spot for food within Weybridge, Surrey and possibly the UK. We have been coming here for years and absolutely love the food here. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, big smiles and very helpful. For off peak times, it’s usually easy to get a table, but if you are planning to go for dinner I’d highly recommend booking well in advance as this is a popular destination and you don’t want to miss out!

We were very excited about having a meal here, we are Italian and enjoy to eat Italian food. The waiter ruined our experience, he said that he felt as though we had a problem with him, this wasn’t the case. I don’t think the waiter...

Can't believe it took us so long to discover. A wonderful experience - wonderful ambience, thoroughly delicious food, but what amazing service from a thoroughly attentive, warm and engaging team. Fantastic food and service in a lovely setting. What more could you ask for.

Best creme brûlée in Weybridge (trust me i’ve made a point to try them all!). All food tastes amazing and the people working are always friendly and loving. Lots of regulars so you know it’s a good place. Would recommend booking in advance though.

Visited this restaurant a few times for lunch and although not that busy the special board always offers a great fresh choice and staff are very friendly.

We visited February for my Husbands birthday. The service was excellent, we did have to ask for water about four times before we got it but they were extremely busy and it did eventually arrive. They made us feel welcome and explained the menu and...
