I had a 30th birthday party here last night, the food was amazing that they put out for us all and all of the staff were absolutely brilliant all night so massive shout out to all of you and that starts right at the top with the management. We will definitely be back

I can not rate the Racing Greyhound highly enough. We held a function in the function room. The room was spotless and is a blank canvass to add your own decorations. All staff were so kind and helpful especially Debbie who does such an amazing job. We had a buffet style meal. The food was hot with a big range of choice and absolutely delicious. Drinks were all very reasonable. If you are looking for a place to hold a function this is it. We have already booked our next one. Will be returning soon to try the main menu.

Superb shepherds pie and roast ,all for £9.95 each . Excellent table service and staff were friendly and quick. Plenty of parking and cracking menu for starters,mains and desserts . Great for all & has a function room too. Beautiful pub with proper homemade food 👌

So glad that this wonderful pub is back serving food after their kitchen was damaged in a fire. Popped in with my hubby on their first Monday back, food is just as good as ever and very well priced. Service was excellent too!

So glad they have opened again for food after a kitchen fire at the end of last year. Popped in to see when they were going to start food again and to my delight was told they started yesterday. So i decided to have lunch and they inspite of being nearly fully booked, fitted me in. It was about 12 noon and by the time i left it was very full. The food was excellent as it has always been and the staff friendly and welcoming. So welcome back and i will be visiting again especially as i live round the corner!!

Great pub, run by lovely people. Well worth a visit. Got a great outside area for summer and a function room if you want a private party. Great food and very reasonable prices.

Pub was packed as there was a charity quiz going on but service was still friendly and efficient. Following a fire in the kitchen there is no hot food available but should be in January

A much smaller venue inside than anticipated. Most of it is occupied by a hireable section. That said the bar area that is available is adequate and plenty of seats, though it was a very quiet Monday afternoon when we visited. Sadly no food is available following a fire in the kitchen a week or so ago. It is hoped food will be available again from December 2023 but do call to check! Staff were friendly and prices were average for Ramsgate.

We have been a few times now and as far as we are concerned the food is always well presented and hot. The puddings are a big problem which one

Fast efficient service. Popped in at the end of lunch and the carpark was full so had to find somewhere on road to park. The Salmon was only £13 and massive with a choice of sides included. Fantastic value for money. Food was out within 15 minutes and we'd had to wait for a table to be free. Would definetly return.

Been here many times always great selection of food and great cheerful staff. You need to be hungry as you get a real big plate full x

Celebrated a wedding lunch here last week.. Been years since eating here so not expecting anything memorable. Wrong! So good, honest grub, huge portions. Simply delicious 😋. Looking for an excuse to go back and explore the menu more 🤗

Can't rate the greyhound higher they catered for our wedding reception and it was truly amazing,the food the service they were a huge part of making our day so special.

Went to a wedding reception. Was a lovely place to hold such an event. Friendly bar staff and the buffet was one of the best I've had.

Always a lovely meal here Monday's are Curry Night.

Warm welcome, friendly staff with good service. Food good value and generous portions. Have visited regularly over the last 6 weeks; last visit team were serving multiple events as well as walk-ins and locals - always attentive and efficient. We have as usual lovely afternoon can't get wrong visiting Greyhound pub 🍻 especially for the fishy Friday deal 15£ including main meal, desert and the coffee, Toffee was pleased with sweets.

Brilliant. The food is excellent, huge portions, great value for money. So many desserts to choose from. We have to go back just so we can try other meals and desserts next time. The staff are attentive, friendly and professional. We hadn't planned on eating out, we were passing and thought we would grab a sandwich, ended up with a full 2 course meal and drinks. Highly recommend this amazing pub/restaurant.

Visited the Elton John tribute night with family and friends. A great night with great food and excellent service throughout. We would definitely recommend this pub for couples or group visits

Booked a table for 6 , was not rushed to order, food absolutely fabulous, hot and didn't have to wait for anyone's food.

Great pub grub (and plenty of it), well priced, attentive staff. It's no wonder you have to book in advance to get a table.

Used the function room but it soon became clear that smoke from those smoking outside started to get into the room. The buffet food was excellent but the service from the bar was very slow, probably because there was no dedicated function room server.

Nice atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. We had a sunday lunch for Father's day and the food was lovely, good service and all at a great price too. Will definitely be going back

This venue is incredible. We've been now on numerous occasions and use it for the ambience, the great staff and management. The hygiene standards and the exceptional quality food. I can't even begin to tell you how many meals we've tried. How many specials we've eaten here. Nor the number of naughty but extremely nice desserts we've consumed. We've held parties and wakes here. Entertained family and friends. On every occasion, every person has commented on the quality of the meals, the portion sizes and the value. If we're not eating there, they're either closed or we are on holiday. The staff work tirelessly to ensure that everyone is happy and they do an amazing job. Everyone deserves to treat themselves here. You won't be disappointed.

It was a quick visit so I'd not want to rate here going on my past experiences. I didn't eat but had previously and there was a function on so they may of been more busy than usual otherwise it wasfine

Such a lovely family meal out tonight. All staff were friendly, attentive and professional. The tables and cutlery very clean, and the food was absolutely gorgeous. We had the steak night meal for 2 which included a bottle of wine, plus a children's meal, 2 drinks and 3 desserts which were all flawless and delicious. Extremely well priced considering the 5 star quality of our evening. Highly recommend. If you look up the facebook page they have specials on most nights too plus events, they hire out a lovely function room and there is plenty of outdoor seating and an enclosed play area for children so very family friendly.

Never had a bad meal here..Big but,don't recommend the Steak.. Sorry blinking awful, no taste and tuff...

The Racing Greyhound hosted my 50th Birthday Pary . The pub is so perfect with its pretty function room and also lovely big beer garden with marquee! The buffet food was lovely and everyone enjoyed themselves. The staff are amazing and couldn't have been more accomodating. I highly recommend this venue and I will book again for any future celebrations.

Great food and drink at reasonable prices. We'll worth a visit. Booking probably essential though. Steak and Kidney pudding, Lemon Meringue and any of the roasts on offer all recommended.

We stayed here yesterday cannot fault it, the staff were all lovely and so helpful and the food was delicious. Thank you so much for allowing us to park overnight with our motorhome we had a great time 👍

We came for a meal for a friends birthday, we had the function room, it was lovely, beautifully set up. We had the set menu, starter was lovely, i had prawn cocktail an mybpartner had the garlic mushrooms. For main i had steak, was really tender and really tasty, partner had steak pie, home made an so tasty. Puddings were all excellent. I would highly recommend, for a good dining experienc. staff, service an food are all excellent. Great atmosphere an very friendly well worth the money, very reasonable.

Didn't have a booking but we were able to get a table for 2 , food was ok as was the service.

Outstanding! My first visit. I took my mum out for lunch. We each had a baguette and salad, and I had chips. The food was beautifully cooked, and the portions were very generous. We shared my chips, and Mum took half her baguette home for later! I've never seen so many choices on a menu, either - there were 16 options on the dessert menu alone! We were too full for dessert this week, but we're planning another visit next week. The pub was clean, and the staff were well turned out, very friendly and attentive. We're not drinkers in my family, so we don't really frequent pubs, but the Racing Greyhound was really special.

Decent pub good atmosphere, but for christ sake turn the heating down. Everyone I was with were sweating, then you go outside and you freeze because your shirt is all wet through sweat.

Superb lunch My friend and I are trying different local restaurants for lunch each week. Last week we visited the Racing Greyhound. We don’t generally have to book on a Tuesday but were lucky they had a table free as it was so busy. I have read a number of recommendations for the pub’s food and am pleased to say they are all correct. I highly recommend booking if you intend to go for a meal. Enjoy it you won’t be disappointed.

I just went there for a beer but the pub is really nice and the staff are friendly.

Had an excellent 3 course meal at a very reasonable price. Shame that 2 of the ales were not available, but I will go back again.

Went to a wake here....great people and service second to none...so had are wake here and did not disappoint...as ever food good and kind and caring.x

We have visited the Racing Greyhound a few times for dinner now and it's fantastic. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, really good variety on the menu and, of course, truly delicious food. Portions are very generous too, so the puds are sure to delight those of you with a sweet tooth! Highly recommended.

We were very pleased with our meal- friendly staff, delicious fish and chips and fish pie with superb homemade banoffee pie to follow. The food ordered by other diners also looked good so we look forward to returning!
