Persian Palace in Reading

I pre ordered a banquet of mixed kabab, stews and starters for a party of 20+ people. Not only was the staff friendly and thorough … they over delivered on everything and the food was delicious. They added Persian tea, sauces and packed everything perfectly. All the food was enjoyed and I can’t wait to eat the food from them again. Thank you

Loved the place and food. Service is fast, efficient and staff are polite and professional. Food was very tasty. Most of us tried Persian food for the first time and loved it. Special mention for the mutton/lamb kebab. That was simply delicious and the best. I would love to try the Sisha someday. Thank you for the great food and service 💕

The food is very delicious, the appetizers and bread, and the wonderful atmosphere overlooking the river with the passing of the swans, a view that captivates the heart. There is heating in the place for closed outdoor seating. Meat dishes are tastier than chicken dishes, but I prefer more salt in all of them. The sauces provided are wonderful, white sauce with dill and hot sauce (available on the table)

AVOID THIS PLACE, WORST FOOD EVER I have been to persian Palace, which is based in Ealing. Food there is good, not a great view, but I have never experienced bad food. But this branch amazing view but the food was awful, it was the worst I have ever had. I have raised a complaint but I was told, they don't understand why I am complaining as the meet arrived yesterday. I am persian myself and I am not new to what I order. The meet was old, rice was cold and the manager did not care about the complaint. I was charged for the food that I couldn't eat. I have to say it's not cheap and what made me really upset was the fact that they don't care about their customers satisfaction and they completely dismissed me. I will never visit again or recommend this place to anyone.

If I could give 10 stars I would without a doubt. I've been going to this place for years and not once been disappointed. The customer service is amazing and the food is excellent. If you are looking for a place to dine in then this is the place. Absolutely great 👍 Nahid, Parya and Ali... These hard working people as a team made my dining experience feel like heaven. Always assisted me when I requested for something. A great place for birthdays and special occasions. Definitely recommend coming here.

We came to this restaurant after New Years, a group of 8. The service was outstanding and the team as a whole are so attentive and welcoming. The food quality was excellent, thank you to the chefs. The man that was making the fresh bread was amazing also, and our female server gave perfect service. We highly recommend this branch and can’t wait to come back. Thank you to all staff.

We booked the table for a group of 7 and upon arrival were nicely welcomed, the food was a mixture of starters (full starter platter) with bread and the mains were a mixture of kebabs, bread and rice etc . Great decor, location next to a nice view of the river - Everything was perfect.

Shame , The low class and low quality persian foods presented in this restaurant , We ordered mirza ghasemi and kask o bademjan for starter , and Kebab soltani fir main and tea and bawlava for desert , bread was not fresh as expected, dish of kebab not presented as a high quality that expected of a persian dish , the quality were horrible , the taste of koobideh was horrible , no sides included , as it is expected , they charged for the primary sides that should be included in a kebab plate , I honestly can’t offer it to any other friends to let them taste persian foods. You can compare kebabs with any other Iranian Restaurant in London ( quality, presentation, and price) , and also you can compare it with the food quality , presentation and specially price in any Turkish restaurants like Yapark in woolley( Chef is Iranian)

The team at Persian Palace gave us an excellent experience when having dinner with family who were visiting the UK. They were very attentive and when we wanted to have our dessert, they moved us to a different table that was more cosy for tea and conversation. They also showed us the newly renovated downstairs area (terrace) and we already have some ideas for hosting private events. All in all, a fantastic evening and thank you to the team for their service

This is an absolute hidden gem of Caversham. If you have the opportunity to go, then do because the food is amazing. The service is friendly and fun and cater for all needs. We sat on the special Persian rug area with pillows where my little one could relax and enjoy without being restricted to a chair. They celebrated my father in laws birthday with short notice and played music accompanied by ice cream and a candle. Their meat is so tender, I have never eaten a softer kofta or more flavoursome piece of chicken. Great spot to try if you're in the area!

The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We especially enjoyed the Kashke Bademjan and Koobideh—both were perfect!

If you want to have a taste of authentic persian food you should definitely try their koobideh and zereshkpolo! Don't forget to order tea and baghlava in the end to compliment the experience!

Nice place, kind staff and delicious food

We had a warm welcoming and great experience with a group of friends for early Yalda Night celebration privately in the basement room. Staff were professional, polite, attentive, friendly and the service was on time. Foods are delicious and Kebabs plate are massive. I would recommend it to new visitors. One thing I would like to recommend is to add more varieties of desserts. I tried blueberry Mocktail which was delicious. Thanks to Miss Nahid and the other staff.
