Quattro Restaurant in Reading

I finally when to the restaurant to try something from the Menu. I order a pizza for takeaway to have at home after work. The pizza is absolutely delicious! The service was very nice and the order was quick. Happy to finally pop up in a neighbouring restaurant and have a authentic pizza. Highly recommended.

The pizza was good, service was absolutely exceptional, only downside is that the restaurant is a little cramped but overall a nice place

Lovely dinner for two at the Quattro Italian restaurant. Warmly recommend their bufalo mozzarella starter and fungi tagliatelle pasta. Delicious! The only thing I was missing was a candle on the tables. ;) Parking at the back of the restaurant.

Reservamos para un sábado por la noche conmigo mi marido y mis abuelos, ya que mi abuela pidió ir a un buen italiano fuera del centro de la ciudad de Reading, veo las críticas brillantes y pensé que definitivamente suena digno de una prueba. Y no nos decepcionó la comida era preciosa, los fragoli era delicioso! Comienzos de red y pudín eran perfectos! El servicio era bueno también, sin duda vale la pena el precio! ¡Vamos a volver muy pronto!

We have been loyal customers to Quattro for 3 years. We booked for my fiancés birthday a table of 7, 8th September my booking we confirmed via the restaurant. We turn up to the booking last night and the manager was extremely rude to turns out they had double booked and were claiming our booking wasn’t accepted (even tho I had the email) he made us feel like it was our fault and got in such a huff about it. I mentioned we will go across the road to papa gees and suddenly a table was available but it was booked for 7 - no big party came in for it. Its a shame as what is normally a restaurant we rush too is now one that’s taking a back seat, the attitude and rudeness was not acceptable considering we hadn’t done anything wrong

Food is VERY good. It would have been 5 stars but absolutely no atmosphere, waited over 15 minutes for anyone to come to take a drinks order, the english waiter had no idea what was on the menu and didn't understand what was being asked for when the italian menu was read to him. The toilet smell wafts from the back of the building right through to the front when the doors are opened. To top it off I was served a drink in a glass covered in lipstick.

Este restaurante familiar celebra su 40 aniversario este año y mi familia ha estado cenando allí durante más de la mitad de ese tiempo. Todos nos hemos mudado ahora, pero mi esposa y yo tuvimos la oportunidad de volver de nuevo esta semana para disfrutar de la cálida bienvenida, el ambiente agradable y la excelente comida. Gracias a Isan y a todo el equipo por otra velada realmente agradable. Esperamos volver siempre que podamos.

Amazing food, brilliant service and an extremely yummy tiramisu

Amazing food with great customer service, and a really friendly and warm atmosphere.

Apparently, this restaurant has been here for over 30 yrs, which tells its own story! It was a Wednesday evening and it was packed, and yet the staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful with their time. There was nothing standard about the taste and flavours of the most popular dishes we all know. Flavourful and bursting with quality ingredients, we really enjoyed it all. The final price was a bit of a surprise too. Two starters, two mains, one dessert and a bottle of house wine, all for less than £90, we thought was great value.

Another fantastic meal at Quattro. We have been coming here regularly for many years, and have always had lovely meals. Great service and delicious food, at a very reasonable price. We’ll be coming again!

Dined here for the first time. We just came pass it and decided to try. We are simply amazed by the taste of the dishes we ordered. I’ve ordered the Linguini Ala Casa while the hubby had the Pasta with Salmon. I must say the linguini was sumptuous, the mix of flavours on my plate was perfect. If it was on the regular menu, I will order it every time. Hubby’s salmon pasta was also very good (he says) and of good portion. They also offer wine in carafe. We had Pinot Grigio in a carafe and that was perfect with our orders. Staff are friendly, enough to enjoy your meal. We will definitely be back again with it without occasion.

If you’re in the mood for Italian food, this restaurant is definitely for you. I can’t begin to tell you how delicious everything was. Service was wonderful and the restaurant itself is very cozy. We liked it so much, we went back twice in our one week staying in Reading. Definitely recommend this place.

The team really knows what they're doing! We visited for the first time last Sunday for a special occasion and everything was absolutely fantastic! It's the best pizza we've had since moving to the UK—perfectly thin and expertly cooked. We're so excited to have finally found a place that serves such great Italian food!! Ps: Reservation is highly commended!

As someone who knows and loves Italian food, I would say don't waste your money there, the food is Italian but the taste is far from Italian, the quality is poor, canned products, cheap cheese... The pizza I eat from any supermarket is better, I'm not saying this because I had a problem with them or want to harm their business, not at all, the service was okay, the staff too, but they need to serve good food to people and stop sharing cute and delicious pictures on the site

A nice quaint ittalian restaurant. Service was good even though it was busy. Had a good wine selection. Food was quite authentic and the portions weren't to big. Even gave us complimentary limoncello after the meal. Definitely a must try.

Disappointed in lack of any personal service, we had eaten here before and had a nice meal but this time food was over cooked, service was slow and non of the 3 staff that served us from start to finish seemed very happy, never asked how meal was or checked we had everything, we were seated close to the cutlery draw which was left open meaning other guests had to squeeze near our table to get past, it was noisy as staff threw cutlery back into the drawer. Surplus cutlery was immediately cleared from table and thrown back into the drawer, leaning over us even before our meal had finished, the cutlery did not look clean and I'm not surprised if it's handled so much without proper cleaning. A service charge is automatically added even when you don't get a friendly service. In need of some staff training, won't be returning.

This is such a lovely, family run restaurant. I’ve been coming here for the last 26 years and I’m pretty sure the owner has been there every time I visited! Always a warm welcome, amazingly friendly staff, and consistently delicious food. I’m gluten free and the Arrabiatta is great. My only ask for future would be to have a gluten free pizza available too 🙏🏻😊

2 of us dined in on a busy Saturday night. The food was excellent. We had a variety of dishes but the standouts were the polpette, pizza and the carbonara. The service was really friendly and efficient. Food was served hot and quickly. The drinks were well made. We were offered a digestif at the end which was a lovely touch. The vibe was authentic Italian family place and was bright and clean. No pumping music which was a blessing. 100% will return, thanks for a great evening. Oh and there is a car park at the back which is handy.

Booked a table for 24, thought we might have to pre-order as there were so many of us but no need said Quattro - which was a relief because who knows on a Tuesday morning what they want to eat on a Saturday night. Quattro was simply superb.We enjoyed 24 really excellent meals (all 3 courses) and the service was amazing, really friendly and very efficient. I could not praise this restaurant highly enough and would definitely recommend it

The food here is superb. Authentic Italian pasta, pizza and seconds dishes. We had the Ravioli, the Fettucine con Salmone and the Spaghetti with seafood. The garlic bread is super garlicky as well. The profiteroles are worth saving room for. We were well attended and despite it being really busy on a Tuesday night, our service was excellent.

A litte while since we last visited, Quattro still sets a very high standard. The calves liver is an excellent main! Staff very friendly and efficient.

Visited Quattro on a work visit to Reading. 5 of us in total dined here on a Saturday night. Atmosphere was good, was busy but not too loud. Had made a reservation based on very popular reviews on Google. We are certainly glad we made the trip to Quattro as the food was fantastic. I couldn't choose between the pasta dishes so had a pasta dish as a starter and a main! Food was cooked to perfection and was super tasty. Staff were extremely friendly and were quick to help our table. Would certainly recommend and I will definitely be back next time I am in Reading.

Best food and best service ever. I was today for dinner and i got risotto seafood. I really enjoyed it. Nice place, nice food, nice service. The beestt was the dessert tortino do cioccolato fondente!

What can I say we eat there on Sunday and again today for a 20 birthday superb meal on both occasions. These guys have got it right and spot on.

I recently dined at the authentic Italian restaurant in Reading and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. The food was simply luscious and I was blown away by the delicious firewood pizza. The ravioli was, hands down, the best I've ever had. Not only was the food amazing, but the space was also nice and clean. The friendly service only added to the already fantastic experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of authentic Italian cuisine. It is truly the best Italian restaurant in Reading.

Conveniently located in the middle of Caversham, this delightful boutique restaurant offers an amazing atmosphere and authentic Italian dishes. The stone oven baked pizzas are absolutely amazing and the pasta and risotto are on another level. There is also a rich choice of deserts and aperativos. The service staff are lovely and professional!

Five of us went for a Mother's Day dinner, and we had a lovely evening. The food is simply delicious here, with plenty of choice. The staff are friendly and efficient. The complimentary Limoncello to finish always goes down well!

I grew up in the area and whenever we got takeout we always got their pizzas, and we sat in quite a few times too. Absolutely lovely place, great food and great service, and absolutely no complaints!

We have just come back from a lovely dinner with (adult) children, parents and grandparents. The staff are wonderful -friendly and professional, the food was delicious and we enjoyed our celebration evening. We're really lucky to have such an excellent local restaurant.

Been going here since I moved to Reading over 20 years ago. Used to be a regular but haven't been for many years until tonight and still excellent. 🙂

We are frequent visitors to this restaurant and I have been meaning to write a review. Good menu to choose from with a great selection of Italian favourites. Food is always cooked to perfection, this time I had the cannelloni special and the calves liver and both were very tasty. The manager is so welcoming and we usually manage to get a table in the week, you would have to book at the weekend. The service is attentive but not intrusive and the staff always have a smile. The restaurant is always busy and is a very popular local eatery.

Was invited by our friend. What a lovely atmosphere in the very well laid out restaurant. The menu was simple enough to read. Had the avocado as a starter what a delicious starter that was full of flavour . For main season bass . Well that had to be THE best sea bass I’ve ever tasted . Only little niggle was the prices , however the food was outstanding.

Thirteen of us went for a regular Christmas do. The food was great, the wine fantastic and the service excellent as usual. I chose the Italian Sausage with mashed potato and rich tomato sauce from the specials board. I'd had it a few weeks previously and memory didn't let me down. Well worth a visit - but don't wait for Christmas.

We had our work christmas meal here, just two of us, and it was flawless. Unfortunately our escape room ran over and we were late for our table, we rang up to let them know and they sorted a table for us. We had 3 courses each: mozzarella, prawns, cheese steak, chicken, chocolate cake and creme brûlée and i cannot fault anything, amazing night, staff were friendly and quick with service, we cannot wait to come back.

On Friday about a dozen of us visited for dinner. It was a great place to visit, my other half had the meatballs for starter (which I was tempted by), I went for the breaded mozzarella with a tomato sauce (went very well). I went for the excellent beef main (with onions, mushrooms and red wine sauce). Creme Brulee for desert, which was very good. Everyone was very happy with the dinner and a few went for the Amerone wine (I was unfortunately off booze for the night, but it is a favourite of one of the gang). Great staff.

This is the most delicious pizza I have ever eaten! All the ingredients are fresh and high quality and you can really taste it. It is the true taste of Italian pizza that every other chain tries to replicate!

We returned to Quattro after a few years and the pizze were exceptionally good, made with a very light and crunchy dough plus fresh and tasty topping ingredients. Attentive and friendly service, although we did not book in advance and the restaurant was very busy.

Takeaway pizza on a Friday Night - absolute heaven! Mozerella in Carrozza - fabulous and huge portion Pizza Ndja e burratta equally delicious - the Burratta was stunning!

Made a last minute booking for dinner with my dad that they were thankfully able to squeeze us in. The place was really busy when we arrived so it was appreciated. We were seen to our table promptly and a waiter was over to take our drinks order shortly after sitting. All the staff we interacted with were polite but not “in your face” or overly friendly, which is a good thing. The food was great and my dad said it was the best bolognes he’d ever had in his life, and he’s 70 now. He’s already making plans to come back when he next visits with mum.

Good selection of Italian dishes and wines. (The house white was very drinkable). Prompt and friendly service from both the o was ner and staff.

I have been coming here for 30 years, the food and service is always excellent. My most recent visit I had the mozzarella to start and the beef with mushrooms for main, and it was the best meal I’ve had all year. Caversham has a few really great restaurants but this is always my family’s favourite.

The food is excellent, pasta is perfect texture. Good variety and desert was well bakanced. And the atmosphere is relaxing where you do not have to rush for the meal and can spend a bit more time there. Wish they have gnocchi in the menu as well.

OK so this is a review of a takeaway as my partner had a first grand daughter 5 days ago so mum, dad and babe not able to eat out yet. I left a message to say I wanted to place an order and was called back. The order was placed and ready for collection less that half an hour later and, if you use the Chester Street carpark, there is a back entrance and everything was ready and waiting. My lady went for the Fettucine al Funghi - creamy garlic mushrooms to you and I. She was blown away by the flavours and I had a taste of what was left and can agree it was SO mushroom flavoured. I opted for the Penne Arrabbiata con Pollo with a side order of Meatballs. Starting with the latter they are probably the nicest meatballs I have tasted in my much travelled 68 years. The Arrabbiata was pretty amazing too with lots of flavour and plenty of meat - speaking purely personally I would have liked a little more sauce but it's a personal thing and the flavours were spot on. The youngsters opted for pizzas which I'm told were excellent but they were attending to their new princess to focus too much on the food. I lok forward to visiting the place again and sampling their full menu as the limited takeaway one if pretty good

The food and service was great but the prices have gone into orbit. Just puts me off dining out anymore. Some items were twice pre COVID but I guess that reflects the wider reality of post Brexit Britain

A lovely place to eat in Caversham. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of places to eat in Caversham and lots of food choices that you could make but, if you get the chance I would highly recommend that you try this restaurant. It is located on the west side of Prospect Street just north of the Caversham Bridge. It is right off the street with a very nice glass window storefront. I walked in without reservations and was able to get a table early one afternoon. I am fairly certain that this was a fluke since the entire place was full not 30 minutes after we sat down. All this is to say, I would recommend calling and making reservations before you visit. You are greeted by a hostess who takes you to your table. The interior has wood floors, tables and chairs, and brick walls. It has a very nice, bright, and clean look to it. The tables are a mix of small and large tables in 3 areas. We were greeted and seated quickly. The menu has many Italian choices. I tried the Fettucini dish and a cider. The food arrived quickly, was a large portion, and was delicious. The waitress was very helpful and efficient. Overall, this was a lovely find for a wonderful dinner in Caversham. I highly recommend it but make reservations ahead of time. Enjoy.

Food is great. Waitres are very nice and polite. The owners, one of them is extremely rude. Seems he hates children. I was there with my 4y old daughter and she was very very hungry. It was busy and we were waiting for food. I just politely asked if its possible please can we can have kid's food ASAP. A guy started literally shouting that we are bothering him and that we need to leave him alone. There were another 2 occasions when he complained that we asked for more pasta for a kid (it was tiny amount) and cheese. If you have little children, don't go there. It was a horrible experience and this guy should NOT work in this industry.
