Lovely food and time at Swallows Return. Most importantly, THANK YOU AVA!! You made our celebratory meal that much better. You were pleasant and fun, but gave us time when needed! Thank you for giving us brilliant service and making our day! We will be back again thanks to you, you are an asset to the pub, and I hope the owners know it!

Absolutely awful. Booked a table, arrived, table not ready, waitress/bar girl was swearing under her breath. Two bar staff on, girl spoke to friends rather than serve paying customers, one of those friends walked through to the kitchen…no care for hygiene. After we had been there for 30 mins were then told there was an hour wait for food. People on drugs in the garden. Place was dirty. We left and won’t be going baby. @Nolan …. The person that went through to the kitchen absolutely didn’t put on a uniform and start doing dishes she went out to the garden with a friend and chatted after swearing as she walked past us.

Lovely traditional pub in the most historic part of greater Worthing. Excellent staff with great service and offerings. We went for "Afternoon Tea" that was a birthday treat from friends. Delicious it was too and highly recommended. The rest of the food appearing from the kitchen looked great too, but go with a good appetite !! A great experience all round.

We recently hosted our wedding reception at Field Place, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, enjoyable, and incredibly memorable. The venue itself is beautiful — spacious, well-maintained, and full of charm, the gardens were a highlight. It provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration and looked amazing in all our photos. Our guests were impressed with the setting and kept commenting on how lovely everything was. The staff (Amanda and Emma) were fantastic to work with — responsive, organised, and genuinely invested in making our day special. They helped coordinate details and made sure things ran seamlessly on the day of the event, which allowed us to just relax and enjoy the moment. We’re so grateful we chose Field Place for such an important occasion. It truly made our wedding day feel special, and we would happily recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful and reliable venue.

Our dear friends invited us for a curry evening at there home, we had an absolutely delightful takeaway which consisted of a wide selection of dishes, all where fabulous with a special mention to the King prawn dansak and the Madras.

Takeaway/delivery. Best Thai food I have had in years. Delicious yellow curry with tofu. Enjoyed every bite. Delivered quicker than originally said. Still thinking about how tasty it was. Green chicken curry equally delicious.

Can't believe the food was Luke warm. Serves was good. Went to dish out more food and it was cold. The hot plate was stone cold so food was cold not happy. Won't be back.

Good friendly service and everything in place for Covid (test and trace and hand santiser). Tables spread well apart. Three of us had toasted tea cakes and they were a good size and lovely spiced flavour. Love the quirkiness off the cafe. We all enjoyed our afternoon tea and will definitely be coming back.

We ordered over 90 pounds worth of food from Happy Valley Take Away, including peking duck, which was dry, as well as noodles and several meat dishes. We were not so happy as all were of poor quality and some inedible. Won't be ordering from here any time soon.

I got a terrible experience. Price too high. Service not good. Stuff needs to know how to behave with a customer.

The toilet has had an 'OUT OF ORDER' sign on it for over 3 years. Came here with my kids and of course as soon as we sat down to eat, they needed the toilet...we had to leave and use the public toilets on the beach. I don't understand why they just cant fix them. I would eat here more if they did as the food is good. I'm doing 1 star so they see this review, if I gave it 3, its unlikely they would look at it. They need to do something!

Very nice food! Very well presented and the burger was amazing! Lovely staff. Very polite. Will definitely be coming back to have a coffee and cake as they all looked unbelievable at the counter.

Definitely the worst Chinese meal i have had in worthing, food is so bland, food portions are so small and not worth paying as much as you do. When i collected asked for prawn crackers but the lady said she would have to cook it and made it sound like it was too much of an effort for her to make. Stay away so many better options in worthing

Great venue. Fun bar staff and tasty drinks. Loved the decor too, very aesthetic and good for pics for insta! 📸 The only downside was the music was rather loud considering the amount of people in the venue when we entered at 7:30pm. However it got busier throughout the night and the music volume seemed normal for a bar.
