Mai-Lin in Worthing

I have enjoyed every meal i order from this place. Prawn balls definitely to die for. I ordering another one as we speak.😁

The food is always exceptional, they don't use artificial colourings, but tastes so good. The only reason I don't use Mai Lin all the time is that they are cash only.

The menu isn't as extensive as some, but what they do is brilliant. Don't expect the sweet and sour sauce to be the usual bright red, they don't use the additives., but it tastes wonderful. If they weren't cash only, and I didn't want Dim Sum, this is probably the only takeaway I would use.

Our favourite Chinese takeaway. Proper chicken, not the weird stuff some other takeaways serve up. The staff are very friendly and always remember us when delivering. Recommended

Really decent Chinese takeaway. Asked for a recommendation and the result was totally satisfying. Not expensive.

Was on a short break to Worthing, and discovered this place after a walk in the evening on the pier. The views from the pier were fantastic, and matched by the quality of the food we picked up. Beef in black bean sauce was delicious, the rice was well cooked, decent chicken balls, and the prices were very good too. I see the last two reviews ended gave 1 out of 5. Personally I don't agree at all - Mai-Lin is a good traditional Chinese takeaway.

Lovely, fresh food at an excellent price. The gentleman serving us went above and beyond for us, explaining their allergens and making sure everything was perfect. Food was ready and fresh within 10 minutes. He was very kind and made our night, I would definitely recommend this a visit to this place.

only put a 1 star because i couldn’t go lower. the chicken was dry yet greasy. the prawn crackers were really fishy. the seaweed was really sweet. the chicken balls were not cooked well therefore were crispy on the outside but the chicken inside was tough and there was grease and liquid inside. we haven’t ordered from here before so i got some chips aswell to be safe but they were flavourless, cold and wet.

dissappointing to say the least the reviews said that it was 4/5 rated this meal was 0/5 rated by us the chips and chicken balls were wet and full of oil :( the rice was dry...the food was just wrong on so many levels...the food colour was not right either...the ribs looked green/grey the upside was that the man on the phone was quite pleasant and was the delivery person :)

Friendly service but that's where it stops I'm afraid... The food was bland, needed much more seasoning The Sweet n Sour sauce looked like gelatin Hoping this was just an "Off day" for them Sorry but won't be back :-(

Just a quick and well deserved review. The owner didn't take cards but lets be honest this is not unique amongst Chinese Takeaway's! Nipped to the garage to get cash and ordered a prawn curry with rice. Very friendly owner, food was cooked quickly, and was extremely good. Prawn crackers thin and very flavoursome. Sometimes you have to acknowledge good even when its just a curry for a few quid! Well done, excellent quality food.

We had our first Chinese takeaway from Mai Lin since the lockdown. It reopened this week. It was great all our favourites. So pleased they are open again.

Got recommended this place for good food and service and when I rang up I got told I couldn’t be bothered to deliver me as it would be a runaround due to being on the fourth floor. Shame really because I was making an order for a big party that could’ve come to nearly 80 £90.They must be so busy that they don’t need the custom will never use them or recommend them again

Always has been fabulous. Will change meals where needed. Most accommodating take away ever. Food is always piping hot, sometimes too hot, and have to wait to eat it... That's a good thing in my book. Can't recommend highly enough

We’ve recently discovered this place whilst walking and I think we’ve found our favourite Chinese take away! Good value for money, good portions, delivery was on time and most importantly the food tasted lovely! Will recommend and will come back again!

Lovely chicken curry and great chips.

Wow, what a meal. First time we have ordered from here, and yes we shall be coming back. Good food, the chicken curry is amazing but it does have a kick. Very nice

Take away only, they don't use food colourings so don't expect lurid sweet and sour, but the flavours are really good. The spare ribs (Peking Style) are a particular favourite. I have been eating from here for years and have never had a bad or indifferent meal.

Have been using Mai Lin at least fortnightly for over twenty five years and they have never let us down! Always Amazing food and great, friendly service! 100% deserve five star rating.

I have used this place for 15yrs or so ... absolutely the best Chinese curry in town and the unique 'twice cooked pork' is to-die-for! ... I have never had a bad experience with their food, the owners are really lovely and delivery is prompt. I highly recommend to anyone.

After a very disappointing meal from a certain other Chinese takeaway recently, we decided to give Mai Lin a go. I am so glad we did! Not only did they bend over backwards to accommodate my partner's fussy eating habits by adapting one of their standard dishes to suit her tastes, but the meal was delivered bang on time and I have to say it was one of the best I have had in many years. We were so pleased with the meal that I even called them back to thank them while we were still eating it! I would recommend Mai Lin without any hesitation and we will definitely be using them again in the future. Excellent value for money.

Best takeaway in worthing find most places curry's very mild there's is really spicy also lovely staff

We've been using this takeaway for years. Always been good. Never had a bad meal from here in 20+ years. Friendly owner too! When we have friends round they always comment on how nice it is. Delivery is always about 35 -45 mins. Always arrives hot.

Really dry and quite cold to be honest! Couldn't work out if it was old food reheated, also found a long black hair in my prawn crackers! Really wouldn't go here again!
