Really greasy and slimy and not very tasty. Also arrived not very warm.

Always good never had a bad meal from here always friendly on the phone

The food was excellent it's close to me but don't use it often as not quite on my way home I know it does deliver but sometimes just fancy one on way home the staff very helpful and friendly so will be using it more often

TERRIBLE FOOD! DON’T BOTHER! Takeaway ordered evening of 17th Feb 2023. Mixed starter - the satay chicken wasn’t satay chicken. It was dry, over cooked chicken on a stick with no sauce. The ribs were also dry with no sauce and in the same foil tray. The prawn toast was tasteless. The spring rolls were ok. The seaweed was edible. Crispy pork with peking sauce. The pork was like eating rubber it was that tough. Totally inedible and certainly wasn’t crispy either! Meat tasted a bit “funny” too! Might have been off! Beef with chestnut and bean shoot. Had to play hunt the beef - way too many water chestnut. Sauce and beef were totally tasteless. Same as with the pork - meat tasted “funny” might have been off! Chicken chow mein also tasteless but was edible. Sweet and sour chicken balls - over cooked and chewy. Batter was way too crispy. Sweet & sour sauce was very runny. 1/4 crispy aromatic duck & pancakes very dry, a tiny pot of hoi sin sauce which was also very runny and only lasted for 2 pancakes. We won’t be ordering from here again. If I had been eating in I would have sent it all back to the kitchen and not paid for any of it because it was that bad!

Delicious Chinese food! We ordered special fried rice, sesame prawn on toast, sweet and sour prawn balls and crispy shredded beef with chilli sauce for takeaway. Everything was really tasty! Staff were really friendly. I would definitely come back here again!

Deserves all 5*! Oriental House's food is delicious and will have you coming back for more. That is why we wouldn't go anywhere else for our Chinese. I recommend the Kung Pao Chicken it is really good, even having it extra spicy it's delicious. Thank you!

Awful experience here. Walked in and instantly smelt like something that shouldn’t be in there, ran away as fast as I could.

Had takeaway on 24/7/21 food not good chicken curry 4 pieces in total ,partner was ill on it duck was mainly all fat ,chicken in sweet n sour sauce was so hard it was inedible ,phoned and spoke to the manager who offered me another meal why would I want that after such a bad experience manager not customer friendly talking over me never again

Dinner was ruined due to forgetting the curry when I phoned no offer of replacing the order as whole order would be cold when driver got the curry replacement to me this is not the first time this has happened but the restaurant does not seem to understand when they forget part of the order they ruin the whole meal Will not be ordering again

Just popped by for a couple of things (hot/sour soup, sweet/sour chicken, spare ribs) to try out, very glad I did! The food was good, quickly and freshly done - would recommend and will definitely be going again.

Been going here for years and never been disappointed. Phoned this evening to place an order and the service was awful. The person answering the phone could not understand English (even just the menu numbers). She tried reading-back my order three times and each time it was wrong. I gave up in the end and will now be going elsewhere. What a shame.

Really poor service. No sign of the food and the phone went unanswered for 20 minutes before we gave up and put food in the oven. Our order did eventually arrive an hour and a half after being ordered, the delivery person said they can’t deliver within the timescales Justeat provide as their options. Really poor.

Despite ringing the restaurant when I had already been waiting 45mins and being told it was out for delivery, the meal took another 40mins to be delivered. On his arrival though the driver told me he had just collected it. There was an item missing and everything else was stone cold. While I appreciate that they may be busy, being honest about delivery times and remedying faults promptly would save a lot of heartache. Perhaps they are so busy they don't worry about losing business. This was my favourite Chinese, however I certainly won't eat from here again and would not recommend it to anyone else

This was my first order, tasted fresh and non greasy. Not a vegie but would like more of a vegetable selection - will definitely be ordering again.

Really nice, but ribs quite small, chicken satay very salty. Main courses were lovely :-)

ordered food at 19:10 for me and my partner, it said it would be delivered at 20:40 I knew it’s New Year’s Eve, we got a text saying it was delivered, 20 mins after the text we rang and they told us they hadn’t even finished cooking all the dishes and that it would be another 30-40 mins before it gets to us. ridiculous

As always, delicious!! Only thing I’m not keen on from this place is the veggie spring rolls but everyone else I’ve tried is lovely. please put some vegetarian dumplings on the menu :)

overall food quality/heat was not the best, ordered 5 sweet and sour chicken balls and received 8 very small pork balls? One being pure batter,it is Christmas Eve so might be very busy but standards should be kept.

Food is always good, however ten minutes was initially added on which was no problem. What I am disappointed about is the fact that at 2010 the restaurant put on Just Eat order delivered! I t wasn’t delivered until 2030, after we had phoned and were told it was manic there and ours was out for delivery. our food was not as hot as we would have liked. The food was delicious as always. I would have preferred honesty about the time frame so I could decide if I wanted to try elsewhere or wait.

Worst food I have ever had delivered. Not much meat in duck noodles everything in sweet and sour runny sauce. Salt and pepper ribs chewy and did not resemble ribs at all. Had a small taster plate and put rest in the bin. Waste of money. Don't bother.

ordered crispy beef with no veg. the tub wasn't even a quarter full! Expensive to only be given a tiny portion. seriously, go somewhere else.

This is usually my first choice with Chinese restaurants in Worthing. Chips weren’t the greatest this time around (seemed like they were just heated up), but the egg friend rice is delicious!! Some vegetarian dumplings on the menu would be great :)

The food came early which was great. Very hot very tasty. Easy to order not like other places. The delivery chap very friendly. I will be back.

First time I've ordered from here and I really enjoyed the food. Crispy aromatic duck was good, could have been crispier but the duck was moist and tasty. Satay chicken was good and spicy and full of flavour. Chips were very good, not greasy and had been cooked in clean oil. The chicken noodle soup was a proper chicken broth not the usual cornflour thickened gloop! King prawn balls I wasn't keen on the batter but that's just personal taste I think as I don't really like batter in general. However there were plenty of them, they were crispy and the prawns themselves were delicious. Another really important point is that the food was piping hot! I'll definitely order from here again.

Nice food although compared to other takeaways portions rather small especially rice and noodles.

When we ordered it said it would arrive by 19:15, but when I used the follow order button it said they had added 10 minutes to the ordee, which is fine can always understand that on a Saturday night. When I rang them at 19:35 they said it was "cooking" really when it was supposed to be here 10 minutes ago, So 19:50pm it finally turns up. Apart from the terrible waiting time, the food was amazing, everything tasted absolutely amazing!!! I was hoping I could moan about that too, But I really can't. So worth the wait

Everything seems to be cooked nicely...not overfried and greasy. Sauces seem to be authentically home cooked. Very tasty!

after a abysmal experience last time, we thought he-ho everybody deserves a second chance. pleasantly suprised the food we received was rather splendid with delivery times accordingly and overall good restaurant service. I have to say it has totally changed my views of what I thought was rather a poor effort last time. 6/10 would recommend

Best Chinese I've had in a long time. Much better than competing services in my local area. Would defiantly order again. Delivery was a little later than the time set by the restaurant - but the restaurant was polite and assured me the food was on it's way.

We didn't enjoy our meal. We asked for no onions in the curry in the note and they gave us onions. The curry was runny and the rice wasn't fully cooked. We would have preferred a longer wait and better food.

Food had not arrived an hour after they said it would, over two hours after I placed the order, so I canceled the order. Their phone line didn't' work so couldn't find out what the problem was. No apology. Absolutely disgusting service. Do not order from this restaurant. Just Eat did not help at all, just told me to wait a bit longer then cancel the order if it didn't arrive! Thought they would have some sort of comeback on a restaurant that is not giving the service required, but apparently they are toothless.

Absolutely awful service tonight. Ordered our food and after over an hour and a half called to find out where it was, was given no information on how long it would be. Received a call saying they were just starting to cook it with no apology or explanation two hours after putting the order in. From then on couldn't get through on the phone to cancel as the phone was disconnected and when the food we didn't even want finally did arrive the driver didn't know the situation. Seriously disappointed.

The mixed starter was ok. Egg rice was oily and I have never had sweet & sour with tomatoes in the sauce and the pineapple served separately. Food arrived late and not very warm. All in all disappointed

Man, I've not had prawn toast with lemon before but I never want prawn toast without it again, it was absolutely incredible and will definitely be buying again.

Really quick delivery, lovely food

Well waited an hour for our food when I called at 7.25 I was told that it was just being cooked... Hang on I placed it an hour ago it should be here at 7.15... Ordered smoked chicken the dish wasn't even full it was half full.. the duck was dry and tasteless and to top it off one of the sweet and sour dishes Had leaked in the bag... Won't be ordering from here again

While food was ok once it came it took a long time to arrive, well over the delivery estimate. When we tried to contact them to find out where the food was, we were quickly dismissed. They were not very helpful over the phone.

Valentines night so thought it was going to take a while, but was right on time. Food was lovely and hot and tasted really good! Recommend!

Half an hour late but worth the wait

Above average Chinese food. Stupidly ordered on Chinese new year when 2/3 of Chinese restaurants were shut and so the food was in in excess of an hour late without updates. I appreciate they were heavily over subscribed but updates or not accepting orders would have been good.

Delivery was 50 minutes late when we phoned up the lady did apologise but couldn't tell us how much longer our food would take! The notes wernt checked as we asked for certain things to be taken out the curries, which is very disappointing, we did not enjoy our meals unfortunately.

OMG the food was absolutely amazing. It's not often you can get a Chinese meal delivered that from the first mouthful to the last it was hot in temperature, I will definitely be ordering again. The meal was delivered on time. Thank you
