Wongs Chinese Take Away in Worthing

This is our favourite Chinese in Worthing and we wouldn’t go elsewhere. More importantly, they have some fantastic veggie options (chicken, duck) which means we can all enjoy!

Since trying the food here, we dot go anywhere else now. Fantastic choice, all very well prepared and full of flavour. We have been ordering from here for a couple of years now and never had a problem with any of our orders. Especially love the duck rolls

Very poor quality food. The satay chicken was gelatinous and had virtually no flavour. The black bean beef was inedible - the meat was so chewy and had a weird odour/flavour. We chucked all of it away. I just hope we don’t all get ill from it!! Never again.

Received a phone call from this number claiming to be o2 customer service. Figuring out how to report it

prices are up, quality is down. my special chow mein hardly any meat, mainly noodles and onion. chips nasty cheap frozen, extremely dry and inedible. they forgot the overpriced chicken balls, eventually delivered but clearly reheated, coating rock hard, small bit of chicken in each. each ball a whopping 80p each. expected they would give a couple of extra due to inconvenience of failing to deliver the first place, nope, nothing. previous order included shredded crispy aromatic lamb, came with 6 pancakes, not enough meat to barely fill 3, not enough spring onion and cucumber. this place used to be my go to for delivery, used to be good, but how can you raise prices and lower quality? like many, no free delivery via their website or foodhub, on both they charge an extra 60p too. won't be using again or recommending unless I hear they have improved.

Food was delicious! Was recommended this place by a friend and will be returning! I def recommend the golden sand salt and pepper chicken and chicken satay!

Still not sure what the "golden sands" is they put on some of the dishes. They told me once but I was too drunk to remember, and either way, it's tasty! Staff always friendly.

Order was told 45 mins didn’t turn up for 1hour 15 mins. Food turned up wrong order, offered to replace but wouldn’t refund has to wait over 2 hours to receive the dish that was wrong. No refund no sorry . Just awful I would never go here again.

This is out favourite Chinese in Worthing! It’s the closest Chinese takeaway to when we had it as kids back in the late 1980s! Nothing beats those flavours and size of the chicken balls!! Will not use any other Chinese takeaways now and I have tried them all!!

The best Chinese in Worthing! The lamb with cumin is possibly the best thing I've eaten in ages. All food I've had from here, is flavoursome, not greasy and the delivery staff are always fab.

We were recommended you. We order Chinese maybe once a year. We have tried other places but find the food too greasy. This place however the opposite. Not greasy at all food piping hot. The sizes of the dishes were hugh. Stick with what you know and we will be ordering from you from now on. 5 stars all the way

What an absolute treasure we found on the off chance. Amazing prices that afford us to try new things. Great portions. Highly recommend. Husband and I like very different things. Hubby liked the sweet and sour balls more as they were bready. I like them less so and he wasn't so keen on my lovely orders. The meat and seafood a better quality than most. King Prawns big, juicy and lovely. No muddy taste. The best softest vegetables I could actually eat and flavours divine. Its all great and trial and error to find a personal favourite. But what a choice. Enjoy 🤗 Edit Ordered on line again last night...was so lovely i had to ring and tell them. 😆 Can't wait for leftovers today, but im too stuffed from last night's feast!

Just had singapore chow mein, deep fried shredded beef, beef curry, prawn balls and chicken chop suey omg all was fantastic I’d like to keep this place a secret but why would I not want you to have the best Chinese in Worthing this review was for Wongs I tried since and not so good

Disappointed. Not even eaten the food yet but it's been over 90 mins since my order and when I called they said another 45!!!! I've come to collect 20 mins after the call when they asked for 10 and still sitting waiting. Joke. Food better be good but won't be coming back, this time is not acceptable.

We have been buying meals from Lucky Food for a long time now. The standard is consistently excellent - well marinated meat, generous portions and price is very fair.

Turned up absolutely piping hot, fresh and tasty! Ribs were good quality and tender. Great portion sizes especially on the mixed o’deuves, will be ordering again!

We have ordered from here several times and the food is usually brilliant, but this time the kung po prawns were actually chicken, and the special chow mein was half rice, so we were a bit disappointed.

Ordered for the first time a couple of weeks ago amd again yesterday. Would not go anywhere else now! Food is fresh and full of taste! The salt and pepper chicken is perfection and you can not fault anything on any of the dishes we have tried. Service also excellent! Highly recommended!!

Very good. This is the first time we have ordered from this take away. Big hot tasty portions and not to expensive.. the mixed hor d'hoevres for two is great value. We will definitely be back.

Poor quality food, I ordered beef and black bean sauce it comprised mostly of chopped green pepper and about 8 tough, small pieces of beef. The Chicken and sweet corn soup was thick and corn starchy. Very disappointed

Avoid at all costs worst Chinese I have had in years greasy and overpowering taste of vinegar left most of my meal

I’ve been ordering takeaways from Wong’s for over 15 years always amazing food Everything is fresh, veg is crunchy fresh, if you don’t want an ingredient they will leave it out.... clearly not ping and ding ready made Deep fried crispy beef is the best not too sweet oh yum!! , chow mien is always lovely especially the Singapore one, never had a bad meal in fact have got just chips from there because they’re better than a chip shop!!! Oh have to mention the prawn balls , absolutely the best not loads of thick stodgy batter light crispy with a massive prawn inside This takeaway is a best kept secret shhhhhh

I have had a takeaway from here, the food seemed to fresh but lacked flavour. All the dishes were very bland. The staff were friendly and understood me when I placed the order. The order was delivered to my house within 45 minutes of placing the order.

Our meal was very tasty and excellent value for money. A great family takeaway choice; always my son’s first choice!

As a walk in, it took them just short of 20 minutes to get an order of chips, egg fried rice and curry sauce! Only one other customer in the shop. Could have made faster and better at home! Curry sauce was a gross colour I've never seen before and so bad I had to throw it all away. Waste of time and money. Never again!

Not impressed with the alleged failure of their card machine this evening. Result order cancelled. Young girl suggested going to the nearest cash point which is a 20 minute round trip walking. Ordered from elsewhere this time.

I have eaten at this place numerous times and whilst the food is a little slow (you can tell they are taking their time to make it top quality) I would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Also great for a late night snack.

I've used this place several times, and satisfied every time. Tasty food at reasonable prices. There is a comfortable area to wait in whilst food is being prepared, but the wait is generally very short.

Not a too bad of place for delivery, you get your moneys worth. Although I must say...ordered prawn toast and there was what appeared to be plastic in it?!?!!!? Sort of put off for life now...shame because everything else was enjoyable

Sin embargo, el contenido era sosa y sin sabor con la excepción de la s y s salsa que era simplemente una mezcla glutinoso de fatal productos químicos. El personal es encantador y el servicio rápido pero yo prefiero menos de mejor, estoy seguro de que lo podrían hacer si sólo pudieran llegar a la cantidad.

Absolutely horrible ! The chicken balls were burnt .Everything was far too salty . I believe that the meat was probably soaked in salt because it was out of date !!

This has been our local for quite a few years. Always had good food, especially compared to others in the area. Friendly staff. Prompt service wether collecting it delivery.

We are new to the area so trying lots of different places and Wong's was just wrong. The food was greasy and bland and was a complete waste of money. Will not be returning
