First time trying happy valley and it didn’t disappoint! Was super tasty and lots of variety to choose from. Delivery was quick and friendly delivery guy too.

Food is lovely ..Best Chinese!! .. great value for money..always get more then enough.. always taste delicious.. never had a bad one yet.. and Iv been eating here for 5 years.. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit to the Happy Valley. It was recommended by a friend who advised that it was much better than our local Chinese takeaway. My first impression is very positive. Friendly staff, prompt service and good food, particularly the quick fried king prawns. Will certainly use this takeaway again.

The worst Chinese I've ever had. The special fried rice had what i can only describe as a full tin of "spam" in it. the noodles were the same. The sweat and sour chicken was like eating rubber coverd in glue. So meny corners where cut and no love for the food what so ever. I won't be ordering from here again

This was our first time using Happy Valley, and it most certainly won’t be our last. It easily surpassed other Chinese takeaways in Worthing. All the food was fresh, non-greasy, served in large portions and most importantly, delicious! The delivery came bang on time, and the ordering was a pleasurable experience. I couldn’t ask for more from a takeaway, and we’ll be straight back to Happy Valley next time we fancy a Chinese meal.

Ordered direct via website at 5:50pm on a Saturday night to try and ensure timely delivery - when order was placed, delivery time was given at 7.10pm. Called at 7.30pm for an update and couldn’t guarantee a time for delivery (so order has still not been started 20mins after delivery time given!!!). Lady on phone said they are busy tonight - find it hard to believe that so many delivery orders were placed before 5.50 to make our order so late. If so, stop taking orders!

Forgot my sauce. Lemon sauce was just lemon juice. Chicken looked horrible. And barely any meat on the ribs.

The timings that are given are always way out for collection , mutpile occasions over very very inaccurate collection times given

Whenever I see my friends in Worthing, Sam and Charlotte, we order from Happy Valley Chinese, simply because they're the best here!! I always order the Crispy shredded beef in chilli sauce which is absolutely top notch, chicken balls cooked to perfection, and chicken chow mein is wonderful. Price is very good for the amount of food we get, definitely value for money!!! Excellent food, high standard, great service with a smile. They get my vote!!

Come back from holiday happy valley please... Had to go somewhere else tonight for Chinese food and nervously waiting on delivery . Happy valley are the best Chinese take away for quality, quantity, fast delivery, happy delivery guys , and on on ... We've been using them for over 25 years .

Was recommended this place by a friend..& what a find! It’s hard to find a Chinese in Worthing that is perfect & this has not let us down once! All freshly cooked & hot on arrival (30mins delivery) they are generous with portions & is cheaper than others in the local area - cannot recommend enough!!!! 😊. Also, the delivery man is lovely too! Just had one of the tastiest Chinese I have ever had.sweet and sour King prawn balls. Shredded beef. Chicken satay and chicken chow mein. All hot and resonable priced take out.

Everything was lovely, definitely order from here, special curry was delicious, all the meats had their own taste and cooked beautifully ..thanku

Just had a meal very disappointed bland tasting and very greasy. Meal was also cold when received.

Fantastic service and always good food

This Chinese is easily the best in Worthing and I include the Imperial China in that. The food is fantastic, consistently great and for such a reasonable price. I had been using Just Eat and the Chinese offering on there had left me not wanting to eat Chinese anymore, it was all overpriced terrible food. I am so pleased we tried the Happy Valley, this is now my go to restaurant, I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Disappointing. 9 people waiting inside (small space). Nobody bothers to wait outside. My order (by phone) is 22 minutes late now.... and still waiting

Got a takeaway from here last night. Loads of food for the money. Took a while to get here, but was really worth the wait. Best Chinese we've had for a long time. Will definitely use again.

Ate from here last night really freandly customer service guy asked y I was waiting outside I said for a taxi he told me it was cold and to wait inside. Food alot better than other Chinese that I've used in the area will definitely be going back

We’ve been going to this Chinese takeaway for many years now and the food and friendly service have remained very good. The portion sizes are sufficient and hot and there is a good selection of food to choose from. I do think however the menu could be updated. Whilst the takeaway looks clean it is now tired and could do with being modernised. It looks dated. I hope to continue using the Happy Valley for many years to come.

New to area and really craving a nice Chinese meal. Wow this place is amazing. Really polite and friendly on the phone. Order came fast and hot. Great value given the amounr of meat on the ribs. Salt and pepper squid absolutely delicious. My huband loved the pork curry ( again lots of meat ) and mushroom rice. Normally my husband doesn't like crispy beef but he was happy to finish mine. So happy and we'll be regularly ordering again. Thank you Happy Valley

Delicious food and 1st class service

My wife and I have had two take sways from the Happy Valley Chinese take away so far and both times they have been good. I have tried 5 Chinese takeaways that are closer to us than the happy valley and none of them have been as good as the Happy Valley so far. My wife likes Sweet & Sour Chicken Hong Kong style with egg fried rice and I like Kung Po Chicken with Mushroom Chow Mein. I would recommend trying them to see if they do it for you.

Normally realy good but the last one was poor but will still go back normally the best in sussex

My neighbour told me about this takeaway a few weeks back. so tonight I had to try it out and we all absolutely loved it 😋 the food was amazing and tasty and well cooked. So i just wanna say thank u very much 👌 ill be returning again very soon as places like this are hard to find now days.

really not good food defined not 4/5 as shown in reviews chicken sweet and sour gave me a stomach ache the rest of the food was left by my family disappointing 0/5, have to put 1/5 as it wont accept 0/5 my normal chinese was closed due to second lockdown :(

Everytime i have gotten food from here its been so good. Ribs are so lush they come off the bone super easy. Squid is good portion and tastes great. Seaweed is immense. Duck is to die for and everything in-between...highly recommended to get your Chinese food fix from here 😋 👌

Watching film last night the characters were eating Chinese food. Fancied a chow mien but had to wait to today to get some. One of the few Chinese take always open so ordered and picked up. Very pleasant man supplied me with my large chow mien, which was as good as I hoped. I would recommend this take away if you are Longing for a Chinese meal.

We’ve used Happy Valley for many years but not since the virus. This weekend we decided to return. As I would expect Happy Valley had taken every safety precaution it could. The service and food quality was its usual high standard.

Excellent food and value for money, it was the first time we have had a meal from there , could not falt it in any way.

Just as per the title.Ordred pancake roll and barbecue spare ribs. Barbecue sauce non existent, just swimming in yellow/green grease, pancake roll was large but not one ounce of flavour! Greasy , tasteless food. Don’t waste your money, everything binned!🤢

Very Happy with my first visit here. Lady at the desk was very helpful in helping me choose food as i had hungry small children with me. Chose the Sweet and Sour King Prawn Balls and House special chew mein. Lady handed the children fortune cookies and they were over the moon. Good times! Food was cooked to perfection.

I have been trying Chinese Takeaways local to where I live, the food from this takeaway is by far the best so far. I have had two meals from here and both have been full of flavour and generous portions given. The only minor complaint I would make is that on the second time I ordered food the person that answered my phone call had trouble understanding me, it's possible it may have been the phone line. I would recommend this takeaway.

Used to be a regular when I lived down the road, the last people that ran it were brilliant.However this evening I ordered a Chinese for my family, I had to re read my order out numerous times on the phone as they didn’t quite understand, which is absolutely fine.Collected my food, got home to find the order was wrong. We wanted pork balls and got prawn balls (easy mistake to make I suppose). So I rang up, asked if I could come and collect pork balls instead as we really dislike prawn as a family. Went back down to the shop and he asked me where the prawn balls were. Told him they were back home, he wouldn’t give me anything else until I bought back these prawn balls (that we had ripped apart and actually already put in the bin). So I asked for a refund and he refused. Absolutely appalling service. He blamed me for not listening to him reading the order back to me over the phone, and wouldn’t give me a refund for a mistake that he made. Absolute joke, he was rude and was wearing dirty cheffing clothes (which wasnt even proper kitchen uniform)...We’ve been going there 13 years and I will now never step foot in there again. Get some decent management back

Always good food and value for money, prompt and good customer service

Staff are friendly and efficient. The menu is varied and the takeaway service is prompt and always hot. Telephone calls are easy to understand and are taken speedily and professionally. Every time we have had a meal from here it has been a pleasure. The food is cooked to perfection. I would recommend this establishment to friends and family. They are closed on a Tuesday. Takeaway is available within 3 miles with £1 charge - cash only. Minimum order of takeaways is £10. They cater for vegetarians too. Parking outside is a little hit and miss.

All I can says that the food I had from here has put me off Chinese food for a very long time one of the worst I’ve ever had!p

Recently visited as we did most Fridays, as usual hung around waiting for acknowledgement in reception. Owner was on deliveries!!!! Got home and food cold ( had cool bag) and tasteless had to microwave.....complained and was blamed for being late!!!!!! Owner admitted new chef cooking that evening. We now cannot find a decent chiniese in Worthing. We miss the great food that was always guaranteed... See my positive post back in the day when they were the best.

Unfortunately I have to say not as good at it used to be. For years we were a weekly regular customer however we won’t be going back after a very bad experience the food we ordered was cold and the Singapore noodles tasteless. When we called up to tell them of our disappointment the owner tried to blame it on my partner for being late however he told me he walked into the takeaway and stood there for over 5 minutes until someone came from out the back and asked what his order was and then they went out the back and he waited for a further few minutes and got the order. The food we had to reheat and the noodles were not even edible they had no flavour. Shame as for years it was our favourite place but never again disappointing as they are lovely people

We've tried a few Chinese take aways in Worthing and this is probably the best. The food is always really good and service extremely polite and friendly.

New owners and although the food is ok, it has dropped in quality - no longer my favourite Chinese take away. Don't accept cards.

Can't go wrong with this place, Chinese curry is awesome.

The staff are always polite on the phone and also the delivery drivers. Food is delicious and always hot,(I'm very fussy!) and their spring rolls are the nicest I've ever had. Don't bother going anywhere else if you want a decent Chinese takeout.

Había estado pidiendo desde el Valle Feliz por unos 20 años hasta hace 5 años cuando me encontré realmente ido cuesta abajo. Lo intenté de nuevo recientemente después de un par de llevar mal desde la nueva carretera de girasol en Salvington. La comida ha sido consistentemente increíble con generosas porciones de carne, a diferencia de algunos de los lugares que más hacerlo en las verduras. Mi única queja sería la chica que lleva las órdenes de teléfono, ella es lamentable y grosero y no a veces me echó de la llamaron. La comida es sin duda un 5 / 5. El servicio es de 3 / 5

Ha sido un tiempo desde que compramos la comida de aquí, la comida no era una maravilla, tardaron un largo tiempo de entrega, y en una ocasión fue casi frías, que fue la última vez que pedí desde allí. He tenido la buena comida de ellos, pero les falta consistencia.

cometí chino para llevar desde aquí dos veces y no puedo decir nada malo de el restaurante, la comida o el servicio. Televisión en zona de espera, carteles mostrando lo que se ofrece y acogedor negocio familiar. No aceptan plástico, lo único efectivo aquí. Mi única crítica sería cada plato desde aquí han servido demasiado cebollas.

Nos trasladamos al otro lado de la ciudad así que era necesario un nuevo chino Eatery un poco más cerca. Intentamos Happy Valley y quedé muy contento. El agradable al frente de la casa y parecía ser un negocio familiar. La comida era fresco en el lugar y en una velocidad decente. Las raciones eran abundantes y frescas. Me encanta la comida un mein y copiosa cantidad de carne y no cubiertas en grasa. Volveré a probar algunos platos más.

La comida era absolutamente horrible. Las costillas estaban cubiertas de goma como sustancia y flotando en grasa. El tigre langostinios eran realmente langostinos ordinarios cubiertas de aproximadamente una pulgada de pasta para que ellos son grandes, y se podía colgar una imagen con el llamado salsa dulce y amarga. No estoy muy convencido la carne en el mein la comida era en realidad carne, fue correoso, tenía un sabor extraños, y comestible. Podría seguir y seguir, todo tipo de comida era una pérdida de dinero y me quedo con la sensación de estar completamente engañados. El servicio era pésimo y el ambiente no estaría fuera de lugar en Siberia.

We have been using this popular Chinese Take away for about 25 years. The food is consistently of a high standard as it is freshly made to order. The portions a good and are tasty and can be collected or delivered. Highly recommended.
